Awesome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-300WR wireless document scanner that I received for free to perform a beta test and review. This Epson scanner is great, practical and easy to use. Its size is small and very compact so in any space it looks good. Its design is nice and neutral, the image at the time of scanning is very clear and beautiful do not alter or pixelean the images. The best thing is that when using WIFI it is even more comfortable and being able to use it with your smartphone or computer is great.

Extraordinarily versatile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The features are almost mind-boggling. Performs two-sided scanning if needed, and the scan speed is the fastest I've ever encountered. Scan quality is excellent, even for color. The user-friendly software allows me to review each document or receipt before saving or exporting, so if I need to make adjustments I know right away. I use Quickbooks desktop version for accounting and had no trouble at all identifying fields and info I wanted to save and export. Should work equally well for Quickbooks online version. Being able to export as a "searchable PDF" is a big plus. It can also save documents as Word file or Excel spreadsheet data or even Powerpoint (Windows version). It even scans business cards. That's versatility not found in run-of-the-mill scanners. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but worth every penny if it saves time and frustration over manual recordkeeping and document retention. Setup was a breeze right out of the box and t has a ver small footprint. It can be used either wired or wireless, with the ability to send scans to email or a smartphone. This thing does it all. I'm definitely impressed and will be recommending it to friends and family. My nephew is a farmer and my neighbor is a truck driver, and both professions require extensive recordkeeping. I'm sure that once they've tried this scanner the benefits will be obvious, especially to their wives who do all the accounting! Very Handy for people working on the go.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Is a very neat little scanner. I love that it can use it with my desktop as well as my mobile phone or tablet. Setup was a little tricky for the cellphone but it may have been me. Very good resolution and 2 sided scans are an appreciated plus. I think it would have been nice to add a carry case since it is a portable device. The automatic paper feeder did well for such a small device. You also have USB connectivity available if you are still in the stone age. Its bundled with a pretty nice selection of software. And I love the QuickBooks integration for receipts Unit feel solid but handle with care.

Great Scanner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best scanner I have received. Set up was easy and fast. The software was easy to install. I wanted to give it a try on both different devices so I installed on my Mac and as well on windows, it works really well. It is compact, and reasonably portable, but heavier than expected. If you need to carry a scanner with you, this is a good choice. I scanned a number of types of documents, including several receipts. The scanning quality is very good and you can adjust the resolution as you need. I love that it's just one touch to scan receipts, invoices, and other items, it makes it really easy to stay organized and not get buried under the amount of paper. I'm mainly using this for paper and documents but I was surprised to find that it also works really well for photographs. If you do a large amount of scanning per session, then this scanner is perfect for you, because with the auto document feed feature, you can get into a rhythm and be very efficient. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-300WR Wireless Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Best ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the most impressive scanner that I have ever had the privilege to have. The scanner was so easy to hook up to my computer and my phone. The ability to scan different size paper and business cards are great. It was so nice to be able to carry this scanner with me no matter where I go. It has a battery so you don't need anything but the scanner and your phone or laptop. Its also really nice to be able to load documents or cards on Google drive or any other cloud storage that I use. So its easy to share any of the items I scan. If you are on the fence about purchasing this, you will not be disappointed in your purchase. Nice scanner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-300WR Wireless Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The scanner was fairly easy to set up, with easy instructions. It scans very fast and does a great job for it being so small and light weight. I could scan multiple document and receipts, double and single sided without worry. I used it to scan multiple documents of various sizes and it works very well. I like that it can be taken with you to scan on the fly, as it were. Handy for keeping receipts for home and business. My only concern so far is that the material it's made of seems flimsy and I'm afraid that if I'm not very careful that it will easily break when I open and close it. Other than that, it's seems to be a very good scanner.

Great small business fast color scanner

A fantastic Buy. The price was several hundred less than other fast comparable scanners. The Epson software works very good, but does take a little work to fully understand. The scanner is very fast and produces extremely good results for the speed. The included software helps to define better looking results. The setup is so easy, just go Wireless, and your all set. I can scan from any of the three computers that I have in my office. I only need One Scanner, but I know that I bought the Best One Out There. This is my First Epson Product but I am very pleased with the performance and the results. I would highly recommend this Scanner to Others needing a fast business scanner.

GREAT device, lacking instructions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my unbiased review of the Epson WorkForce ES-300WR Wireless Document Scanner. First off, I am a absolute beginning with using a portable scanner such as this. Overall the scanner is a absolute beast in scanning tons of documents all at once, rather then scanning one piece at a time. BOTH sides as well. You stack them up and it scans LIGHTNING quite. I was blown away. I actually though at first that it spit the documents out so fast that it was broke, but to my surprise, it scanned ALL the documents. As a test I scanned business cards of all thicknesses.. no problem. I am a freelance artist so I have tons of ideas billowing in my head and on to all type of paper and have stacks of notes and drawing in many folders. This scanner is perfect for that kind of thing and more. This will be my go to scanner for now on for all my ideas, business cards and stuff I want to document digitally. I do gotta say though being a complete novice at this type of scanning device.. the set up was a crazy chore and I failed to pair up the wi-fi after several attempts. Plus to add to my headache the general set up the "quick start" guide was non existent. I understand being simple is suppose to be the idea here by it was truly anything but. So the experience was a good bit hindered due to the set up process. Epson, on that front.. DO BETTER, much better. But besides that the build quality of the machine and how it operates is pretty awesome and I would definitely would suggest it to anyone that needs to scan loads of stuff on the regular. works pretty well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using this scanner for a couple of weeks I can say it is excellent for any home office or business. It makes scanning documents, receipts, business cards and other loose documents a snap. The scanner includes software to convert documents to editable/searchable documents. So far my experience with this feature is that it works pretty well and the OCR works as good or better than others out there. For receipts, in particular, I like it because it can identify dates, amounts and other key pieces of information so making it easier to categorize and process/save them in my accounting software. Overall, it works very well, is very easy to use, and is perfect for certain kinds of scanning. Initial set-up was mostly trouble-free. The scanner has a battery so it can be used without a nearby electrical connection once charged up, which takes about an hour initially. It can be charged through a USB 2 or 3 port, but the whole beauty of this thing is that it connects to your wireless network so that it can be located anywhere within range of the network. Once you get this document scanner set up and running, it works great. And, if you're like me, you have lots and lots of paper documents taking up lots and lots of room. Once you've converted them to data files, you can shred the paper files and turn them into confetti. I am in love with this Wireless Document Scanner.

Great Scanner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little scanner! Download and install of the scanner software was super easy. My only complaint is that our router doesn't have a button to push to setup the wifi because we have a commercial grade router. So, I wasn't able to set it up on wifi. I was however able to setup using the USB cable. I wish there was an option to configure wifi when connected via usb. I LOVE that the scanner scans both sides of a document at the same time. This is a great document scanner. The only think that would make it better is if it could do higher resolution for pictures too, but it is just a document scanner and it preforms this task amazingly well. I'm very happy with this scanner! This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-300WR Wireless Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

A great portable scanner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is for the Epson Workforce ES-300WR scanner. The scanner is a portable business class scanner designed for the office worker who frequently is going between location, office, or home/work functions. It allows you to do duplex scanning with receipts, documents, business cards, or basically anything you can feed through it. It takes up to 8.5 inch wide documents and can scan up to 44 inch long. It does have a card scanner but the minimum size needed is 2 inches by 2.75 inches. I can’t say I’ll use that feature a whole lot as I usually just snap a picture with my phone but the option is there. You do have to slide a selector to the side to use it though. In terms of day to day usage, I’ve only had it for 2 days so far but its scanned in everything I’ve thrown at it so far. I did have one misfeed but that was an issues with the paper I fed it and not the scanner itself. I really like that it can be powered over a USB 3.0 port instead of having to carry a power supply along. This was a nice added touch. Another feature I really like is the software surprisingly. I usually don’t install any of it and let built in scanner functions work but this includes the ability to extract data from receipts and export them to excel. Love this feature. I’ll have to start using it for my home receipts as well. In terms of scanning, it does a great job. It scans up to 1200 dpi which is perfect for what you’re using it for. It also does it fast. Wit the automated feed, it really can move documents through. With the ability to store the documents in the cloud or directly to your computer, it really streamlines my scanning abilities. Best part about it is that it isn’t a large device. Its not small but its small enough I can say it is a portable scanner. Plus adding into the being able to use usb power, it really adds to the allure of frequently using it. Kudo’s to the Epson team for a well built portable scanner that the business professional can use. Great scanner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is of the Epson WorkForce ES-300WR Accounting Edition document scanner. There are several things about this printer that I think make it stand out. First, the footprint of this scanner is great - for a small office or home use, it can sit on the desk, conveniently located but not be in the way. Secondly, I love the "no wires" option. While most of the time I use it while it's plugged in, if I'm working in another room and need to bring it with me I just pull the cord out of the back and pick it up. The fact that it connects to my wireless so that I don't have yet another cord coming out of my laptop or dock is really nice. Lastly, the "accounting edition" software works amazingly well. It scans the receipt and pre-populates fields regarding that receipt allowing me to categorize and sort things how I want. That's not to say it doesn't have issues - since it recognizes text, I don't know why it can't auto rotate the scan if a receipt is put it upside down, instead it still tries to pre-populate the accounting fields and it does a very poor job in that case. It is well made and doesn't seem flimsy. I have a little trouble opening it up with the latch they provide. I occasionally have issues with receipts not feeding thru correctly and crinkling inside the machine. It happened a couple of times at the very beginning of my testing out the device and was very frustrating since the receipts it did it on seemed clean, flat and not expected to get stuck. Since then it has worked pretty well although it still jams occasionally. At this point I've scanned in about 40 receipts as well as many full-size documents. Overall, I recommend this product as a nice daily use receipt scanner.
