the problem with all this scanners is they don't allow you to scan from pdf to jpeg with a simple push of a button. you have to go on the settings and change them manually everytime

The Scanner is awesome! It has helped me scan 1,000s of pages, and freed up a lot of space. I eliminated a lot of things that I was going to need storage room for as we sold our home. I highly recommend this item to anyone that needs to eliminate paper from their storage files.

Must have for Small Business and anyone who likes to scan documents to reference later and get rid of the paper. Scan quality is excellent and the feeder is quick!! Easy to use software with Text recognition capabilities.

My Business demands a lot of printing and copying of documents. My Epson can handle the workload.

We are a "paperless" office. This is a front office time saver for the less than paperless world.

This scanner is great for digitizing my files. It automatically determines b&w, color, single or double sided. You can mix load with all these types and it does scan them properly and accurately. Makes fast work of getting files into the computer.

It is a nice and compact desktop design. It works like a top loading printer. What is impressive is the speed. It scans directly into a .pdf then ready to go. I would recommend for home or small office use. This is the second scanner purchased for my office and both have been a workhorse.

It is nice design and fast. the software is full of option and little complicated.

Had another brand previously and was a several step process to scan and save as a jpeg. Epson has good capacity for auto feed will save to a file, more documents can be easily added, then move to a selected folder directly as a jpeg. Easy to set up and easy to use as a non-tech person

Fast and easy to setup. Scans fast and documents are nice and clear.

Copies colored photos good but not to the original picture quality. Does not do good on black and white photos. Good on documents to same quality as document scanned. Doesn't scan thick items such as polaroid pictures or heavy backed items without jamming, but easy to unjam. Good for digitizing photo albums after photos taken out.

I opened the box, plugged in the scanner, stuck the USB connector into my computer and 30 seconds later I was scanning my tax documents. No fuss, no problems. Yay.

I love this scanner, I replaced my NEAT scanner with this one. It is so easy to set up and use. I really like it better than large NEAT and I loved the Neat. I would recommend this scanner any day of the week.

I bought this for work and liked it so much that I bought one for home use. It is fast. My only issue is that sometimes I have to scan things twice because it sometimes cuts off part of the scan if it is a half inch or less from the top of the item being scanned.

The scanner is fast and easy to use. Setup is easy. I would recommend this item.

It is amazing how fast this scanner is!! Easily does front and back in one scan. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because, at our business, we need id's to load to our database and it is unable to get the contrast accurate unless the person is Caucasian.

Before I bought this, I was scanning each page separately flat on my printer. Now scanning multiple pages on both sides is a breeze. It was quick to set up. It scans quickly. However, one complaint that I have has to do with the Microsoft software for the scanner rather than the actual scanner. I have both an iMac and a Windows computer. On the iMac with one convenient click all the pages are placed together in one pdf, but I haven't figured out how to do this with the Windows computer. When I need to scan multiple pages, I use the iMac. This is why I placed 4 stars for "ease of use", otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

This was a pleasant surprise. I had a limited budget so decided to give it a try not having high expectations. It was a good purchase. The unit is of good quality, produces decent print quality and at a good rate of printing speed. Easy to use, easy to connect to my lap top and a desk top. I recommend it.

Tried a Canon scanner in the same price range and it wasn't a fair fight - the Epson won by a mile! Once you practice a little with the settings and scanning software it all works pretty well. We learned that scanning from the utility software worked much better than scanning from the regular user software.
