This scanner was easy to set up and scans double sided pretty fast.

I love it! I use it to scan multiple pages at a time 20 plus. It works seamlessly and quickly for many different sizes of documents! No mess up on feeding! Great for attaching to emails.

This is a great scanner. The best feature, as far as I am concerned, is being able to name your file before saving. Most in this price range or less, save the file with an incremental name and then you have to change the name. I looked hard to find one in this price range and am very happy with it. Speed is good, Scan quality is good. I am very happy

My original intent was to buy a duplex scanner\copier\printer but was frustrating finding one that would scan both sides without having to flip the paper manually. By chance I came across the Epson Workforce ES-400 II online and just sucked it up and paid the $200+. I wasn't expecting much but this turned out to be one of the best investments I ever made. This scanner can take a 50+page 2-sided document and scan both sides in under a minute! You can also modify the settings for making it a searcheable PDF, which is huge if you are dealing with legal or medical documents. I was able to clear out 2 bankers boxes worth of docs in 1 day. If you got a lot of paper clutter than this scanner is for you. Note of advice: There is no CD for install, you have to download the software from the Epson site. Make sure you download the 400II drivers as opposed to the 400 drivers. The latter will not work. Also, in most cases, your initial scan page (Page 1) may not be perfectly straight; you might get a "slighlty" off center edge on top, the remainder of scans will most lightly be straight. If you have issues with that this may bother you, if not, then you'll be fine.

As they say, "Just what the PC Doctor ordered"...I needed this to scan documents, many of which are in large sets of 50 or less, for my work (yeah, too cheap to buy one for the office)...It's typical excellent Epson quality---no surprise there! I am sure I'll get many years of good use of this, not only for my office, but of course around the house as well...

Works excellent, I have been using this for awhile now. It was easy to pair it with my Mac and has saved me so much time. I highly recommend this for any home office. I usually scan about 35 pages or so at a time and it has never jammed once.

scans so smoothly, quick and efficiently. Scans are clean and the program on the cp is easy to navigate. allowing you to easily rotate, delete and save documents. I will say that it does not let you email directly from the scanner, as the options say. You need to save the document first and then you can forward as an attachment via email. but other than that it is great for my work office to get my documents scanned quickly
