Very slim design and works very well and fast at scanning documents

It’s only been a month, but this scanner is working very well for me. Using it with a MacBook Pro was a piece of cake. Document feeding is flawless and the OCR software is much better than what I had with an older Canon scanner. This seems like a great option.

Using these scanners as a work from home option has been wonderful!

The one touch scan button on the scanner itself will not function for me. I have to launch the scan software and then initiate the scan within the software, which is a bit of a hassle. I tried to use the Help features and Google for ways to solve this issue, but struck out miserably. It’s a shame, considering this is not an inexpensive scanner. If not for that, I would give this product 5 stars across-the-board. The 2 sided scanning feature works great and the image quality is excellent. Overall, I am pleased.

What an incredible scanner, I can't believe so many features it has, for example: Easy wireless scanning to smartphones, tablets, computers and online cloud storage accounts using the Epson Smart Panel mobile app; Easy sharing to email or upload to popular cloud storage services; create searchable PDFs and convert scanned documents to editable Word and Excel files; image adjustments like auto crop, blank page skip, background removal. but the best of all is get organized in a snap, because captures both sides in one pass. How incredible isn't it? is the best!! This scanner is super fast, accurate, and doesn't miss pages. I have scanned about 1,000 pages so far and the scanner has worked pretty much flawlessly, saves me a lot of time. now this scanner Epson ES-500W and I we are the best friends, I work in a small business and I just want to get rid of the mountain of paper that comes with personal or business records management and believe me it really helps me a lot. I did not experience any problems with the quality of the documents. The software is easy to use, the wifi set up too was flawless and I've not had any problems. a good tip would be you can also select the slow speed on the scanner if you feel the high speed might damage your originals.
