    Bought this printer with hopes of shaking off the need for expensive cartridges. 1 year later i am replacing it. This thing is total garbage, I suggest you buy something else. The printer started putting lines through the prints from 2 months after buying, shortly after that the document feeder started having problems, now 4 days before warranty the unit decided it no longer wishes to turn on. I recommend avoiding at all costs, the savings in ink will never outweigh the cost of this piece of junk.

    I may have just happen to get a bad printer because reviews on this printer seem to be solid, but this printer went out on me just after my 12 month warranty expired. When I say "went out on me" I referring to the fact that this printer would no longer print without streaks that made part of doc's become un readable. Tried EVERYTHING to fix with no luck. Went office space on it and it felt good. I don't print everyday and go up to 4-5 days at a time not printing at all so it is possible the ink dried and damaged the printer head.

    Should have changed the nickname to REGRETABLE ! Have the box! Can I RETURN this Epson or is it too late?? Big mistake. Purchased printer per the 2 yr. ink savings. Loudest, shaky vibrations no matter what surface it sits on, poor quality print, too SLOW. Not user friendly as HP Envy. Feeds badly and jams easily. Harder to setup. WOULD NOW PREFER GOING BACK TO HP ENVY...a laser jet printer. Regrettable.

    Missing two items that I would of wish the printer had. 1. USB port 2. Duplexing. My fault for not doing my research before buying, but love the ink capacity.

    It just would not perform as expected. The display would give symbols that did not make sense. It's was just not user friendly. Had to constantly reconfigure.
