Say goodbye to expensive cartridges. Amazing the number of prints in just one tank of ink.

Prints very well but want to take advantage of the ink tank feature. Using cartridges is getting too expensive.

Great printer for home/business

I purchased this printer for home and business. There is a higher up front cost, but that is quickly recouped by the cost of the ink. The tanks cost far less in the long term than cartridges. If you do a lot of printing (black, white or color), this would be a good printer. Pictures are good and documents print fast. The pictures do take more time to print than a dedicated photo printer, but to me it's worth the trade off for cost savings in ink.

Honestly, it's a good buy if you're in college/grad school or have a business at home. This printer prints pretty fast and clean. It is a cost effective alternative overtime but has a very pricey up front price tag. You're not costantly buying replacement ink that ranges from $20 for off brand to $80 for name brand ink. The ink jet printer works really well. Big thumbs up for easy wifi setup and the awesome DUPLEX copy/fax!!!! I had a Samsung Pixma printer and loved it. But, buying the ink constantly was annoying. We decided to purchase this one because the replace ink wells were soooo much cheaper and you don't have to replace until like 12000 pages are printer. I'm still pretty full on my ink wells and I've had it for 3-4 months. I'm in grad school and I need to print out notes constantly... It has been a great investment so far.

Works well, economical

The bottled ink is much more economical then the cartridges. The printer works well, although it's very noisy and rocks a little from side to side when it prints. I think this is due in part to the light weight plastic housing which I wish was a bit sturdier. Overall, I would recommend it for the economy and the functionality. Just be aware that, due to the lightweight plastic, you need to be careful with it and place it on a sturdy platform.

I was skeptical on purchasing a new printer. My old one ran out of ink, and I was tired of buying cartridges. If you could even find them. I'd be lucky to get a year out of a purchase. And that was with us being frugal with the printing.
I like the idea of filling the tanks, so I researched this group of printers. I needed a fax machine, so that immediately took out the lower-priced levels.
I took the financial plunge after a $50 rebate of sorts for returning your old printer. Still,though- a near $500 purchase.
I have to say, setup was a little over my tech-challenged brain. I got it done though.
Wireless setup. The really neat function is being able to "email" your printer. Send emails or whatever to your custom address, and print right from your phone. I love it. So easy.
The only "bad" I can see so far, is pictures on glossy photo paper do not turn out well. Mine leaves lines from the paper feed rollers hitting the wet ink. But reading other reviews, this was forewarned. This is not a designated 'photo printer'. And I didn't buy mine for photos. They also are not very sharp.
I got two 'sets' of ink. So I'm good for a while. Non-Epson ink refills are not recommended. I've seen ads for 'Epson' ink, only to see it's really not.
The real stuff is not expensive.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

We bought this to replace an older model whose auto feed had stopped working. This has fewer features and only one paper feed, so we are still using the old one for most things. This one is very high priced because of the ink resevoirs, which are a nightmare to fill. Great idea, not so great execution. At least we can squeeze it into the space.

Purchased an Epson because we had one before then something else in between. Loving this Epson!! EASY to set up (even an old lady of 71 could do it! DUH-H) and so far has worked well with at least 1 of the IPads, OK, you youngsters out there, I know that you have to get on the modem, but this was easy peasy for this Epson. Nice to be home to Epson.

Printer works great. Prints fast. I love that I don't have to keep all the cartridges around. I should get 2 years out of what came in the box.
Printer was very easy to set up. The price was right, too. I waited until it was on sale and got $150 off. They also took a really old printer and gave me $50 toward the purchase.

GREAT SO FAR...

After 30 days of use, I am pleased to report that so far, this has been a great printer and a smart purchase choice. The quality is very good and the speed is above average, or at least compared to other color Multiplex printers that I have owned, and it has a lot of really good features that come in handy depending on what you're doing on a daily basis. A simple word of advice if you are operating this printer in a home or a business with more than one network. When does printer goes to sleep it loses its network connection and even though we've instructed not to do so, it randomly connects when it comes back on, minor issue here is that if your computer that you are printng from is not on the same network obviously it will not work and it took us a while to figure that out that it wasn't connecting to the network we thought. As far as The Inkwells so far so good they were easy to fill and relatively mess-free considering. In the 30 days since purchase I have printed a couple of large printing jobs of Flyers with color, about 150 in quantity so 300 total and there's still plenty of ink in the wells.

Last Printer to Buy

Pretty good all in one printer, scanner, fax machine for the home or small business. The main advantage is the bulk ink system. The era of "ink extortion" is over. Very high initial cost, but long term savings; I can print again, and print in color! Has a larger "foot print", so you'll need some space. Color pictures lack the "snap" of a dedicated photo printer, but if you use the high quality settings, the image quality is very reasonable for the lower cost per image

Easy assembly and startup. Prints good pictures and easily set up to mobile devices. Would like to see multi paper trays and availability to change the type of paper on the computer instead of on the printer. Pretty basic for the price. Plus side the start up ink is quite abundant don't see having to buy ink for a while.

Very easy to set up to wireless router and print quality is excellent.
With my kids back in school needing to print homework assignments and photographs they are loving this printer. They can easily print from their iPhones or laptops. With proper photo grade paper, photographs look amazing! Would definitely recommend.
