Interesting design with ink tanks on the side of the printer. I think it can really print more than 11000 pages with the ink provided at the time of initial purchase but I'm not sure if it will be reliable to achive that. I have printed about 800 pages and all of a sudden the printer started making some scraping noise. I left it alone for as while and later the noise went away. Not sure if something overheated or not. Since then I've printed about another 1000 pages without any problems. Time will tell how long it lasts but I like overall capabilities of this printer, plus it supports air printing.

I really do like this printer although the quality of the output is not as good as I would have expected, but then again, maybe I am using cheap paper. I love that I do not have to constantly purchase ink cartridges.

Bought this printer for small office. Now I've no worries about ink anymore. Setup is easy and just take half an hour or a little more. Wireless connectivity is great and no issue after using it for few months.
I've not tried to print on photo paper but i don't think it would do good with photo printing. This is the only thing missing. I need to buy one for home but i am waiting if they introduce some ink tank printer that can print on photo paper as well. I've one hp photosmart printer and i am going to sell it as it's almost new. I've replaced cartridges many times but it get dried even if i don't print at all. There is no point buying conventional printer anymore. Highly recommended.

Eco friendly printing doesn't use much ink so the print isn't very dark but it's good enough for business. I had to take advantage of the sale price because my refillable canon cartridges were getting error messages forcing me to buy new ones too often.

The ink system, prints and ink prices are great, my only complaints are that the print tray is small for bulk printing and the auto-feed scanner/copier is slow.

Purchased the Workforce ET-4550 a month ago. So far it meets 100% of my expectations with regards to the Eco-tank system. You can visually see the ink reservoir; and while I print dozens of color pages daily...the ink levels have dropped little. My prior unit was also a traditional WorkForce unit and I was replacing cartridges monthly. This is way better. The only negative so far- the scanner does not duplex. That doesn't concern me as I need to upgrade to a stand-alone scanner- and all of the better Epson scanners offer duplex capabilities. Love my new ET-4550.

I've had this printer about 3 1/2 weeks now, and I absolutely love it! I've printed quite a bit of pages including the manual for this product. The manual was approximately 288 pages.(I made it into a book with a binder.) I love all the features: Ink lasting, 2-sided printing, the size of the printer. I also love the Ink "bottles" rather than the cartridges. You "pour" the ink in their respective tanks. I decided to go with the ET-4550 over the smaller version because I like the feature of the Automatic Document Feeder the ET-4550 has. I recommend that anyone who purchases this product download and print out the manual the same day. It will help you tremendously!

This printer is so good. So much better than my old one. I can print from anywhere in building. Ink usage is unbelievably efficient. Have not refilled ink in over a year. Fabulous

have difficulty manipulation the setting for printing. Wifi, paper, layout,
maintainace, home, etc. It is capable of sending fax messages, but no
cable was provided. No manual, but can print online (287 pages). Big learning curve.

I had an HP printer for over 8 years I liked it but hated that it did a cleaning cycle when ever it felt like it (i guess so HP could sell more ink cartridges) and they got to expensive, all colors together for around $64.00 (so don't buy HP). I love this printer for the ECO Tank and it's very good quality print. This printer is worth the money. Always remember "You get what you pay for", it's not been a year yet but so far I'm impressed. I was going to buy another color laser printer like I had before the HP but laser printers don't do well on photos and you can't use photo paper (it will melt). If I could give it more stars for it's performance so far I would.

This printer does everything you need it to do. I have found HP to be a great brand. Bought an Epson with the individual ink bottles that you refill and it was difficult to set up and photo quality not as good as this product, so returned the Epson.

The reason I purchased this printer was because I can add the ink directly to the printer without having to deal with buying the right ink cartridges. And the ability to see which color I need to refill.
It prints faster than my old printer
So far I have only printed invitations. I plan on using it at a graduation party to print pictures from the photo booth.
Love the wireless capabilities. I can print from my phone or iPad we I am on wifi and from my computer hook it up to my network so no extra cords to my computer

I like the ability to buy ink as I need it rather than the other ink HP which tended to dry out and always needed to be purchased every other month. the liquid ink I just pour it in the corresponding unit and go. YAHOO

Ditch the Cartridge

So far I have been really happy with the printer. I decided on this one because I had a cartridge fail on my last printer after about 30 pages. Tired of buying expensive cartridges and faced with having to deal with a warranty return on the cartridge I decided that after 7 years with my old printer, it was time for an update. When I printed my first page on this printer it blew me away how much higher quality it printed (even though it's not classed as a photo printer). I do a lot of document printing and after a month, when I would be buying a new cartridge, the ink level hasn't noticeably gone down. Definitely worth the cost up front.

I purchased this printer because it could print up to 11,000 black pages and 8000 colors. The ink is refillable and the cost of the 4 colors is around $ 50.00. We have a design retail store and print a lot. We always used OKi laser toner , but it was $ 500 every time we had to change (5000 black and 3500 colors). But there is no comparison between ink and laser toner. The color quality is very poor. this printer is definitely not designed for a business. The printer is installed on 2 printers. When we want to scan, we have to shut down the application on 1 computer to be able to use it on the other printer and it takes 4 clicks to scan. A bit slow as well.

This wireless all-in one printer was just what we were looking for when our old printer finally bit the dust. Seems like our old ink cartridges were always running out, and expensive to keep extras on hand. Some of the negative reviews stated that the speed would be slow, and the set up time long. But found it all to be relatively quick - with no spills! Woks great remotely with our iPad and phones, as well as directly to our computer. Love not being concerned about ink when printing maps or recipes from the internet. Saved by taking advantage of the old printer return discount. We're very pleased.

I like it because it can print 5000 pages before add ink, not like other printers I bought 7 month ago, only print 100 pages and need to change ink cattrage. cost over $60 each time. Only last a few month. End up I spent over $500 only on the ink cattrage.
