This is a great office or home scanner. I email and archive documents all day long and this scanner is the best I've ever owned. The automatic document feeder is the most valuable feature. Just place your stack of documents in it and scan away. It even scans front and back! Easy to install, easy to use, great scanning quality...I don't know how I got by without it before.

This is a sleek low profile scanner. Does not provide any print functions. A lot of "scan-only" scanners only use the paper feed option. I like that his scanner allows you to place your form on the scan surface to scan if it is preferred.

The process and quality of scanning makes it an efficient method that requires much less space and is a big plus in household management.

I like this scanner a lot. It scans fast and works great with documents and pictures. It comes with nice software. Easy to set up and use with convenient buttons on the hardware. The Epson software is very good for scanning pictures or .jpegs of anything. It scans .pdfs also through ABBY sprint but the file sizes come out large. If you want reasonable sized .pdfs you will need to upgrade to the professional version. ABBY gives a generous discount on upgrading. The professional version is much better than sprint in many other ways also. I have heard people complain that this scanner is trash because it constantly disconnects from the PC. I have a decent desktop and a low end outdate laptop. It works great on the desktop but it drops its connection constantly on the laptop. With some PCs this scanner will be useless. I have scanned many pages now and it has worked wonderful. Seems like a durable scanner so far.

I was going to buy an all-in-one for a major purpose of scanning doecuments then found this scanner recommended by web search. I was doubtful about the purchase but once I got it and used it ... It's great. The only drawback is it doesn't have a screen on the scanner. Probably I need to pay more but for the scanning purpose and the price I paid, it's great.

    Automatic document feeder is junk

The automatic document feeder on this scanner is barely functional. When I've tried using it "unattended", it successfully processes maybe 1 in 10 jobs. Given how poorly it works, I have taken to manually trying to feed the next page at the appropriate time, in hopes that it'll pull the next page. Now that I "manually" feed the automatic document feeder, I successfully get through maybe half of my scan jobs. For reference, I have this problem with as few as 3 or 4 sheets of paper. I'll probably see if Best Buy will take it back, and plan to buy another. Outside of the automatic document feeder, the product is fine. Considering most scanning jobs are more than one page, it is simply an awful product.
