marketers always want these reviews too soon for practicality. They must think consumers spend the 72 hours or more nonstop after a purchase using the product.
I got rid of my HP product once and for all, so I'm happy with that and all in all I have found the new Epson Workforce printer quite acceptable. Its fairly easy to set up, and use with the touch control, prints quietly and quickly and seems to let me really select black ink only, without using up the colors, but its really too soon to tell. The scan function also seems good.
The only real drawback so far is paper jams overage misfeeds when the paper stack gets low in reserve, which also waists ink.

This printer works but it wasn’t the flawless execution that I normally experience with other brands. The software was difficult to download to my windows even though it’s compatible. I’ve been setting printers up for years. When I print several pages will come out even though it’s stacked correctly. One page will print between half of both pages. The scanning works well now that a Epson customer service rep walked me through it. His attitude wasn’t the best but I was satisfied with the walk through. I’m still using the printer and it gets better now that I’m used to the quirks of the brand. I’m excited about the top loader for printing and scanning l. That feature was the ultimate buying point for me. I can have entire documents saved instead of scanning page by page. Makes life easier with that feature. It was affordable. I’m not mad that I purchased the printer. It was delivered next day for free to the front door.

Provides good prints but disappointed it does not come with a paper manual. Would be helpful in aligning the paper in the tray and understanding the directions on the screen in setting up the scan features.
Good product for the money. My second Epson.

This printer has excellent quality of printing. It uses a pigment based ink. But uses a ton of ink(not just the beginning set of ink cartridges either, brand name new ones), and the ink is rather expensive (and no refillable options yet due to the chips). I have also been having problems with the paper feed. Just like I did with another Epson I recently owned. If the paper isnt rather full, it will pull bunches of paper at once no matter the kind of paper is in it. Otherwise is a really good printer. When the printer does jam, it is really easy to undo most of the time. Moderately easy to use and set up.

I got this printer primary to get wireless printing capability. So far, this part has worked well. It has lot of neat features such as double side printing, copying, etc. I can scan multiple pages in one go which is very useful. I knocked one star off because one day, I spent over an hour trying to load paper in this printer. It was standard 8.5x11 paper and the printer constantly jammed on every test print. I couldn't figure out why it was jamming and I followed all the steps the printer was asking me to do. Finally I got it work, but I don't know if the paper tray setting was off or what. I tried it multiple times with the same setting before it finally worked.

For a basic printer, the setup was easy, wifi connectivity is very good, and the print quality is much better than our 5 year old printer that it replaced. Very happy.

So Far, So Good

A friend recommended an Epson WF after my very old printer died. Setup was pretty straightforward, and wireless is great - one less cable to gather dust! I've printed quite a bit with the supplied ink cartridges, so that's a plus. The scan setup took some extra time, mainly because I was used to just pushing the scan button on my old printer and having it save the file to my PC - now I have a multitude of choices (most of which I don't need) for what to do with the file. I haven't tried to fax anything, so I can't comment on that feature. So far, I am pleased with this printer.

This was so easy to install. The Epsom comes with very concise directions and real life, it's even easier than the directions.
I had to return the first one. Perhaps a lemon. But am thrilled with the identical replacement. Takes little space and is wireless, though I did purchase a cord...just in case.
