    a big, competent printer

I've had this printer/scanner for about a month and am very happy with it. It seems to be well made and it has worked flawlessly so far. I was attracted to it because of the many favorable online reviews and because I was tired of my previous printers failing to operate after a couple of years each. Also, I was attracted to the low ink-to-print cost. So far, my only complaints have to do with paper handling by the printer: that the second paper "tray" in the back is a little awkward, and I really wish there was a dedicated 4x6 tray. Text printing is fast enough for my money and very high quality. 8x11.5 full color photos are slower, but the quality is also good, if slightly low in contrast. All in all so far, I rank this a very good buy.

Wanted a printer with larger ink supply cartridges. Printer exceeded our expectations colors are vibrant and print quality is exceptional. The only issue that I have encountered so far is that the paper feed picks up multiple sheets at times usually closer to the bottom of the tray Great small printer

I'v owned a lot of ink jet printers - most of them HP. After numerous problems I started to research printers - a painful process. I landed on this Epson, and I could not be happier. Does not drink ink like my previous printers. It's quite. It works - every time! Love it.....if you are tired of researching and reading reviews you can safely stop right now! Buy this printer!!

Have had this up and running a couple of weeks. So far not a single problem. Have used scanning, fax, copying and putting info on a memory stick. Briefly looked at the instructions when I set it up. Since then have not had to. Only thing I have not accomplished is the wifi use, am using a direct cable to the computer. Figure it is likely a bit faster so why bother.

Replacing similar (main competitor) InkJet printer based on cost of replacing both print heads of that unit at same time, and very high ink cartridge replacement costs. Although both do excellent job, Epson WF4630 proved better value overall. Epson also came with nice built in scanner, replacing my 5 year old stand-alone Epson scanner, but not part of decision.

we were looking for an all in one printer to meet the needs of our busy lifestyle, not only for the kids but for us as well. There are so many great features that the printer has. Specifically the scan email feature and print from anything connected wireless through the network. Great proud that my family would highly recommend. We both are very happy with the purchase

This is a top of the line printer at a budget price. I can not believe how fast it prints in color. It has many features of more expensive brands, including wifi. The ink is expensive, as all printers inks are today. Well worth the money.

This thing prints fast! And the results are crisp and clean. When I balked at spending another $50 on a replacement color cartridge for my old printer, I thought it was time to just replace it. This is a good mid-size printer for the home office. Software to scan was easy to figure out. I like the wireless feature so my wife can print from the other room.

This is a great printer - the included software isn't as sexy as the software with HP but the functionality for 2 sided scanning, printing, etc matches HP models that are much more expensive. Epson occassionally runs a $50 old printer trade in deal and when that matches up with a Best Buy sale you can get this printer for close to $100 which is a really good deal.

I've used it to print, copy, and scan, and it works flawlessly. I wish the envelope feeder in the back held more envelopes, but they slide through smoothly - no jams. It prints relatively swiftly. Individual ink cartridges mean no wasted ink when one runs dry before the others,.

I've used this printer for the past few months to print out documents and photos on photo paper. The ink cartridge installs easily and it was easy to set up wireless printing through the touchscreen. The print quality is great for my needs and prints documents relatively fast.

Good color, not so good text

I bought this because of the editorial reviews on at least three review sites and the price was unbeatable at $149. While the color beats what my Brother laser printer puts out, the text quality on this thing really lacks. It's always skewed and the letters are mismatched, like the top half is leaning to the left of the bottom half of the text. There may be a fix for this, but I don't know what it is. I'm still on the fence for whether I want to return it for this reason. That said, it starts up fast, prints fast, prints two-sided rather quickly, and scans two-sided pretty quick compared to my laser printer. The touch screen is fairly touch sensitive, unlike my Brother. But, as with all of these printers, the menus have too many selections, but what can you expect when these printers can do so much and offer so many options. The cartridges are very easy to replace. The paper tray holds a good amount of paper for a printer of this class. Overall, I like the printer, but for text docs, I would use my laser printer. I don't know why these review sites keep saying that the text is just as good as laser, because I've yet to see an ink jet that can compare to laser when it comes to text and this printer is no different. I don't have eagle eyes, but I can always see the difference.

This is a good inkjet printer with fast printing for both B&W and color. Although you can print photos, but the quality isn't as good as an inkjet focused on printing pictures. But for all around printing with some color printing, it is great!

We have an smaller older model Epson that works great, and a larger size HP AIO that sometimes has issues, so when the HP started putting black lines on scanned documents, we decided to get another Epson. Best Buy's price matched several on-line retailers and we could order it and pick it up with express pick-up. And it couldn't have been easier. I walked in the store, went to the pick-up location a few feet away, and there it was, already in a cart. About 2 weeks after we bought the printer, Best Buy sent an e-mail talking about some of the features. There was a picture of the unit, and it was on sale - $30 less than we paid. I saw that Best Buy has a price match guarantee, so I contacted them, and they gave us a $30 refund. Can't get a better deal than that!

Epson - WorkForce Pro WF-4630 Wireless All-In-One Printer Absent an error I made installing the printer which crippled its wi-fi capability, the printer has performed flawlessly. Text and photos are rendered beautifully and with the Wi-Fi now functioning, family members can utilize it with ease. Great printer, great price, all good!

Printer very good, networking is pain

I've used Epson printers for at least 20 years and find the print quality excellent. The last two I've had have been networkable, but I've found networking troublesome. Can't use Ethernet and wifi connection at same time. If use USB connection, one cannot use wifi home network from 2nd computer connection at same time without having to reboot computer with USB connection or delete second Epson printer icon from 1st computer. Can use Wifi Direct (i.e., disconnect 2nd computer from home network and connect it directly to printer on wifi) while maintaining USB printing, but support did not tell me this when I called about networking difficulty. While printing from 2nd computer Internet connectivity is lost until reconnect with home network. Still, it's a good printer, scanner, copier.

Very good printer fast and nice print. I do have two compliants, for some reason on some print jobs the printer ejects an extra sheet of paper (haven't figured out why yet) and the ink is some what expensive.

This Epson printer is a really nice machine. It is a little big for home use, but worth the sacrifice in space. So far I have printed and copied with it and if works great, fast and quality is very nice. I also love the Epson iPrint app for my Android phone. I have printed many things directly from my GS5. Very convenient feature. Highly recommend this printer.
