I think it lasted all of three months and then kept giving me an error message. After doing much research I found out that the error message I received basically said the printer no longer was able to work. I've tried downloading updates and fixes and it still doesn't work. Grrrr.

Good quiet printer

They constantly update the firmware to make sure your printer will only accept their ink. The printer is not satisfied with using only black for b&w prints instead it insists on using some of each color. So if you think you can always print black text and only replace the black cartridge you will be surprised to find it uses all colors and b&w only settings don't seem to avoid that.

Perfect for home or small office

I use this printer in my home office to scan and print brochures and reports. I was looking for a printer that has a large feeder for scanning, the ability to print wirelessly via my mobile devices featuring NFC, fax capabilities and all the latest technologies like saving directly to OneDrive or GoogleDrive. The printer is pretty much ready to use out of the box. Setup and connectivity to wifi was a breeze. The ink cartridges are significantly larger than my previous machine and they advertise that i will only need half the color ink as a laser printer. The printer is relatively quiet and call hold a full 500-sheet packet. This makes upkeep easy and the compact design allows me to save space in the office.
