I bought this printer to replace a 1 year old Epson Workforce 4630 that had failed. Luckily I had bought the Best Buy warranty and was able to swap it out. When it works, it works great. Next printer will be laser i'm about done with inkjets

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy, 10-minute setup - still need to setup wireless printing capabilities from devices. Prints fast enough in both B&W and color for what I need. I have not run into any issues (been about a month so far). I price-matched this from Amazon and got it for much cheaper than the original sale. We will see how the ink lasts...overall, very happy with this purchase!

I took the advice of the guy on the floor and got this unit...........I was really pleased by the quality and speed of the unit for the price. I blew 600 bucks on a HP unit that would never work no matter what........if you need a multi machine for your SOHO this is the one to get.......

This is an awesome printer. It prints very quickly and produces sharp and crisp images. I highly recommend this printer for home or business use!

This printer meets every requirement I had for a printer. I love the fact that it is wireless and doesn't need to be attached to my computer. My workplace will not allow any non-workplace purchased printers to be connected to the computer. Before, the closest printer was 2 hallways away, now it is right behind me! Definite win!

Easy setup. Didn’t require a computer. I was able to connect it to my WiFi straight from the front panel. Everything on my network is able to recognize it, including my Apple IPhone. Prints exceptionally fast. As soon as the print job reaches the printer it is printed, no warm up or time to process. Perfect. Haven’t messed with the scanning yet. Two ways to do it. Feeder at the top or the flat bed. Ink is expensive. If you figure out which version has the ink wells, go with that. Bottles of the ink are cheap. But it might be a lot more expensive as a printer. I love it, and wish I had more things to print and scan.

This printer is fast and easy to use. I love the feature of having an email address I can send documents to and it will automatically print on my printer and be waiting for me when I get home. The only thing I don't like about the printer is that I cannot make one tray or the other the auto default tray for everyone. Otherwise great printer!

It holds a good amount of paper. I think the only drawback is that the ink is hard to find. I had to order it from Epson directly.

I got this as my Christmas present to replace my Canon which I will never buy again. So far I LOVE this printer. It connects to your phone so if your ever looking at a document on your email and want to print it your saved so no more trying to get it to load from your laptop and then print. It even prints pictures from your phone to. It’s so fast at printing to even on quite mode. I run a business from my home to and this has all the capability to make it work. Wish I would have gotten this one sooner and beat my other with a hammer.

Had an Epson 3640 that I literally wore out. Had purchased it for <$100 on sale a number of years ago. Loved it. So, in looking for a replacement, I found the WF 4730 at a great sale price. Looked similar in features to the 3640. Two trays, Wired and Wireless, faster print speed, ADF, scanning and of course a newer model. Very disappointed. Started with my search for ink since it only comes with a "starter" set. Limited findings, and more expensive in general. Ok, I can understand that. I usually go for the generic anyway which have served me very well over the years. Of course, that couldn't be found. Then came my attempt at scanning. The newer Epson Scan 2 software is terrible. After three days, never could get it to scan multiple pages to one PDF using the ADF. Wouldn't even give me the prompt to add a page or edit. Three pages in, all three pages looked like they fed and scanned properly, but only one page was contained in the pdf image. I'm very far in years and experience from being a novice at this. Don't need this kind of frustration, 3640 worked like a charm. This 4730 is already packed back up and going back first thing Monday morning.

I chose this printer mainly because of the two trays for paper. I use the top tray for standard paper and the bottom tray for printing checks. Print quality is on par with many other options. The ability to scan directly to dropbox is a great feature that I use all the time.

So far this is an awesome printer for a great price. Easy to wirelessly configure, prints on both sides and from phones. Scans great.

Fast, quiet, easy to setup and use. My wife was able to install the drivers and setup the printer to our wifi network.

I like this series of Epson printer/scanner/fax. Quality of print if good. Document loader and duplex capabilities make this a really good printer for the cost. However, ink cartridges are really expensive for this printer. Almost to the point that when on sale a new printer could be less expensive than just the ink. We will be looking for less expensive options from a warehouse store. The only other concern about this printer (this is my second in this series) is that there is the possibility that one day when you need it most, the printer board will be fried and the printer is dead. That is what happened to the first WF-4730 printer. If that happens, a new printer is definitely less expensive than getting it repaired.

This is our second Epson, and I am totally happy with the performance. Ink cartridges last a long time considering and the print quality is very good

I did a lot of research and this gave me the best product for the price. It has proven itself in the quality and functions. Easy to set up. A bit larger than I anticipated it would be, but not an issue. Love the wireless print feature.

Easy to use. Prints fast. 2 trays is really good i dont have to load papers that often.

I don't do a lot of printing but do need it from time to time. Give the price and capabilities, this printer has so far met the needs I have. It's quick and nice quality and set up was easy.

Set up was easy. Prints well. Wi-Fi is a bit disappointing, it was only 50 feet from a wireless router and had spotty connection issues. Would not scan properly. Moved to within 15 feet of wireless router and everything worked well.

I got this printer on sale, and it does everything I want it to! I really like being able to print from my phone and scan things straight to my computer. Only problem is it keeps saying there is a paper jam in the top of the printer when I do copies for some reason? But only if I close the top, so I've just been keeping it open. Otherwise it is a very good printer!
