I've only had this printer for a couple of weeks so far. I am very pleased with its performance, print quality, and ease of setup. It replaces a Brother workforce printer that was 2x the size and weight. It lasted me seven years. I hope this one does the same.
However, I wish there was easier scanning and the ability to do auto-detect of smaller paper scans such as receipts like the Brother printer did.

The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4830 Wireless All-in-One Printer in Black makes a stylish addition to any home office with its sleek design and modern appearance. Its physical aesthetics stand out, enhancing the overall look of the workspace.
However, the printer's performance raises concerns about the long-term cost of ownership. The ink consumption is notably high, prompting thoughts about the frequency of replacements and the associated expenses. This aspect could be a drawback for users looking for a more cost-effective printing solution.
One particularly frustrating feature is an unmanageable function that continuously wastes paper and ink. Despite efforts to find a solution, there seems to be no way to turn off this annoying feature. The printer prints a log even when idle, contributing to unnecessary resource consumption and adding to the overall operational cost.
In summary, while the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4830 stands out for its appealing design, its ink consumption rates and the persistent log printing feature may pose challenges for users seeking an efficient and cost-effective all-in-one printer for their home office.

So far I love this printer. Been looking for a printer at a reasonable price that has dual trays.
I need the dual trays for my 8 x 11 sheets of paper as everyone dose. But after I print out a packing slip for what I am selling online I also need to print a Envelope. What a time saver to be able to print both of them without having to leave my seat and change the 8 x 11 to an Envelope.

This was our second Epson printer. Our first Epson printer was great. When it finally died I was quick to return to Epson for our next printer. It installed quickly, however this is one huge problem. It will not print any kind of receipt or bank statement. Three calls to Epson support and they confirmed that it will not print receipts. The last Epson would, not this one. I kept thinking there has to be a setting or download to solve this issue. Nope. They had no solution. Support didn't return phone calls either even when that said they would return a phone call with in 24 hours. Really disappointed. I will be looking at different brands of printers. This really is a shame. The last worked great.

The WF-4830 is absolutely fantastic! It prints fast and is easily programmable for specific job needs. The two trays allow for flexibility in media needs and the page feeder is fast and reliable. This is my second Epson home printer (I love the reliability and quality of Epson products!) the first Epson lasted 16 years and I had to replace it only because specs of the new computer was not supportive.

For the short amount of time I've had the printer, it performs very well - print, copy, and auto duplex scanning. I can't comment on "faxing" as I don't have a landline. BUT less then two weeks after having the printer, it had to be replaced by Epson due to a "hardware" issue with the scanner. The warranty issue was easy to resolve except for the inconvenience. Hopefully this issue is not a sign of things to come...

I’ve had 4 WorkForce Epson printer over the last 15 years. Tremendous performance for their price!
WF4830 is the most efficient yet, with amazing color printing!!!

The verdict is still out. Prints faster than my old HP printer, but the quality is not quite as good. Seems to have a problem staying connected to the Wifi. I just installed an firmware update, so will test before deciding whether to take back.

Definitely faster than my previous printer, an HP 8620 Office Jet. Set up instructions could clearer but I’ve eventually figured out everything. So far I would buy one again but ask me again in a year.
