This all in one has many features, easy set-up. I purchase for using the larger format paper. Dedicated trays make it more convenient.

Good printer. Very big and heavy though. Ink kinda ran out pretty quick so we got the 812xl version.

Disappointed…in Epson’s Support—Printer Good

Overall this is a good pronter, scanner, fax, copier. My issues were/are with Epson’s tech support. Practically useless. First, one of the footpads was missing, which meant that I have cardboard under one corner of the machine so it is level. Which is vital, as the lower paper tray won’t open if there is not proper clearance. Second, I had a lot of trouble connecting to my network bia WiFi. I ended up having to connect through my phone, then adding again (as a new device) through my network. Third, when I called Epson, because the scanner was not visible through the network, the CSR gave me incorrect information and insisted that the ADF did not support 2-sided scanning (it does). She also insisted that I had to use Epson’s scanning app (untrue). Since I have 2 other Epson printers (one I bought 3 months ago), I knew she was either very inexperienced, or incompetent. She insisted that Epson no longer allowed scanning through the Apple printer/scanner network.
In the end, I called Apple, and was able to set everything up properly. BUT, basically, you cannot set up the printer automatically, as the scanner driver does not actually download or install if you use the “Wizard” set-up. You have to download the scanner driver and utility manually at the Epson website. Oh, and she was pushing me to buy an extended warranty. Not cool.
After the very disappointing CSR interaction with Epson, I didn’t even bother to complain about the missing footpad.
The quality is fine—I was upgrading from the WF-7720, and I guess it is a little faster, with no loss of quality. And it seems a little quieter when NOT on quiet mode.
Overall, it’s a good all-in-one with 11x17 paper tray capabilities.

purchased to use for small office. Previously owned the Epson - WorkForce Pro WF-4720 Wireless All-In-One, but decided to go with this one because of the wide format, newer version and my previous printer had numerous problems with the feeder when would scan documents, ( I replaced it twice , same problem). So far so good, love the auto eject tray when It prints. ink is less costly, simple to use and set up. One thing i need to keep an eye on is that is has told me I'm out of paper when there is. or id of given it 5 stars. I will update review at a later time.

Easy installation from the internet. Do not use the Global...
Printer works well, colors are good, it is a bit noisy. Be certain to have it on a stable table or surface. I needed a large scan bed and double tray paper, so it met my needs. I purchased it on sale, so it was a good buy for me.

Purchased this from Best Buy to replace another Epson Workforce I'd use for many years. While the print quality and features are great, EVERYONE seems to have one big annoying problem: Once it's turned off (and even sometimes when it's not) it loses the WiFi connection. Usually it takes a while to reconnect, often 15 minutes or so, because it doesn't find the router, in spite of a strong signal I don't recommend buying this printer, although my 3-star rating takes into account the quality of the printer when it works.

Works flawlessly. So happy I bought it. Love the easy scan and software. The auto tray (even if you haveit closed - it opens so your print job doesn’t hit the floor) is amazing. The legal size paper is a nice option.

My old HP quit with the dreaded “printhead” error. The cost for the necessary repair part is substantial enough to warrant a new printer. I wanted a large format printer so that I could print up to 11” x 17” paper. They are expensive but after doing some research I found this one. Lots of features for the price.
The only thing I can think of as a negative (true with all printers) is the fax feature. I mean who has a land line anymore? But then, who faxes anymore? It asks the question, if I can use my WiFi connection to make cell phone calls, why can I not use for fax transmissions?
Any way it’s all good.

I purchased this printer to be able to do 12" x 12" cardstock. Out of the box it will not print that size. I had to contact epson and get the firmware update to allow it to use "user defined" settings. Then I could set it to print 12"x 12" and boy did it print out perfect. You have to learn how to set it up, but then it is golden. I love that is uses pigment ink instead of regular printer ink. I print on fabric I have prepared ahead of time. Works like a charm.

Great office printer. Works with large format paper (11x17). Very easy to set up. Dual paper trays are a great plus. My only complaint would be that the ink for this printer is a bit pricey.

I had to replace my WF-7710 so I went looking for a new printer. I haven't had this one long but so far I'm happy. It does take a while to start printing but I love that I can have 2 different sizes of paper. I opted for 8.5 x 11 and 8.5 x 14. It is heavy and awkward to lift (I'm short and arms match) as it's a bit bulky . It is, however, more streamlined than to WF-77710. Also, a fun feature is that the output tray parks itself when you turn off the power.
