I'm very pleased with this printer/copier/scanner! I regularly print 11x17 documents for my work and now will be able to print 12x18. This has worked flawlessly for the first 90 days+. I was using cheaper paper in my old laser printer and have had to upgrade a bit to avoid ink-damp sheets. Tradeoffs. I might be dreaming, but if this could last five years, I'd buy EPSON for life! ;)

Extremely please. I spent the extra money for the 7840 to get the second paper tray. Really nice feature. Love being able to print Super B architectural drawings. Nice job on Photos as well. My office is pretty much outfitted by Best Buy and I LOVE the Geek Squad. I bought an HP printer but returned it due to speed and capability.

Printer is fantastic. It's fast and reliable. It is asset to my home office. One downside is that it printed quietly at first and now it has a squeaky sound when it prints and it's not even a year old yet. Overall it does what it's supposed to. I haven't had to replace the ink it came with yet although it's very low on ink.

We scan large documents, print policies and occasionally still manually fax a few pages. This machine is off to a good start. Easy to setup and install to 3 computers. The scanned documents save easily to public documents. I am tickled so far. Plus I can print pictures of my grand daughter from my phone to the printer.

This is my favorite inkjet printer for the value. I probably bought 4 of these so far for my company managers and they all enjoy using it as much as I did. It's very fast and has multiple scanning options. It has two drawers so if you're printing on different sizes of paper frequently it's very useful. It also has automated paper trays and little stuff like that makes you enjoy it more if you like that sort of thing.

Great printer! As a General Commercial Construction owner, I have many large projects all over. I buy one of these printers for all of my Job-site Office Trailers due to its ease of use, print quality, and the fact that my Site Superintendents can print 11 x 17 and even larger if need be.

I absolutely love this printer! I purchased it for my at-home business and for some DIY personal projects and it works wonderfully! The only issue I have is that the color ink runs out quickly! Especially if you're like me and use your printer daily. However, this would not be an issue if the ink itself wasn't so EXPENSIVE!!! I'm buying color ink at least once a month since business has picked up and I print all my own labels, business cards, etc. But, if you only use it a few times a week, for occasional projects or to print photos on glossy photo paper (I recommend...this printer printers them super fast and the drying speed is superb), then this is absolutely top notch! I'm keeping this printer for sure, just going to purchase a cheaper one that uses ink less for big projects/orders.

I have always liked Epson for Printers. Like others I have owned this one does not disappoint. It has two paper feed drawers so I can run two different sizes of paper without having to swap it out. The qualities is good and the speech is great.

needing wide-format printing and comprehensive all-in-one functionality. Its strengths lie in its large paper capacity, versatile connectivity, and duplex capabilities. However, potential buyers should be aware of the higher ink costs.

The 2-sided copy/scan capability along with the 2-sided printing works well when processing official documentation. The printer is quick, so time is saved.

    Versatile Wide-Format Printer

My old wide format printer was experiencing problems, so I purchased the Epson Workforce Pro WF-7840 while on sale. So far, I am very happy with it. It scans/prints double sided up to 11x17, without bleeding through 24 lb. paper. It also can handle 9x13 which is handy for my occasional music publishing. Having 2 separate paper trays for different sizes is quite convenient. It is fairly large to accommodate all the features, but with some reorienting of shelves in my workspace, everything fits comfortably.

Ink prints good quality on the WF7840. I don't like the screen. I don't like the fact that the WF 7840 won't print in black and white when all the other colors are low or out. One color stops alll printing. Didn't print that much stuff used my printer average, not high volume. But ink only lasted 4 months. All colors. So if you buy Standard capacity Thats about $70 every quarter or $210 per year. The double sided printing and copying is good. Copying double sided is kind of wacky. Can't figure out where on the scan bed to put the other side of the ID to get it on the same page.

So far so good. Easy to install and very easy to operate. Almost out of the initial black ink cartridge so will see if adding an XXL cartridge gives me the same issues as I have read. Color printing is good and the printer has decent speed for the cost. Overall good purchase as of today.

We have a need to print on many sizes and this machine is just what the doctor ordered. My only gripe and thus the 4 star rating is the machine constantly goes to A4/auto when I make a copy from the machine. I have to physically make sure I change that setting to 8-1/2 x 11 in order to avoid wrong media error. If using from computer to print, it prints just fine whatever size I need automatically. It may be operator error, but I have changed settings and it continually falls back to the A4/auto. It is a little maddening since my father that can’t see well has to get a magnifying glass to change settings to make a simple copy.
