    Great Workhorse Small Office Printer

    I was pretty amazed by this small workhorse all in one printer. It is quiet and print quality is up there with a laser printer. Setup was very easy, it only took about 10 minutes to set everything up and put in the 4 ink cartridges and get it connected to my wifi network. Test prints were fantastic as I printed some borderless 4 x 6 prints on glossy paper and they came out very good. It does print a variety of size both borderless and standard but this is not a wide format printer. Printed some text and it was definitely laser quality. It also has two-sided printing which is one of my favorite features. Scanning on the flatbed and through the ADF did a good job also. It can scan both sides through the ADF. Scans came out straight and quality of the scan was up to par. Copying a document did well also. There is also a mobile feature where you can print from your phone directly to the printer. The ink is fairly cheap at $8.49 for the color cartridges and the black cartridge coming in a $20.00 All in all, I thought this printer is a good value, it is fast, quiet and in my opinion pretty efficient. This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review

    So I was lucky enough to get this Epson WorkForce WF-2860 printer, and I have to say for the price of the printer its got a lot of bang for the dollar. The unit was super easy to remove from the box, and not much to do expect plug it in and load the ink! I would say I was setup and connected to the internet in about 15 minutes total. Loading the paper is easy and I was off to my first print. I would like it to be a touch faster and a little quieter "but" for the price point I think its fair. I was actually pretty happy and my print was clear, and colorful. No smudges, or pixelated look. I did both color, and black and white prints and both came out very good. Wifi printing is probably my favorite feature as you can print from any computer, or device in the home which makes it extremely easy to quick to do. I have to say for the price of this printer, and all the features you get its a great value. Amazing to me how now you can do printing , network and wifi printing, and scanning all on one unit. It also has a very cool little screen on the front that makes it easy to pick what feature you want, and have a good idea of what the printer is doing.     Excessive ink use

    I needed to install black and yellow ink cartridges, which I did. The cyan and magenta were half-full. When I finished the install and the 'processing', these were half-full and the new cartridges were only 3/4 full. This is unacceptable. I am very unhappy with this printer and it's ink use.

    The printer was very easy setting up and I love that you can connect with Wi-Fi and print from phone or laptop. HOWEVER, I would not recommend buying this because you can only print 20 pages of black ink and then you have to spend another 24 bucks or so for more ink. It is cheaper to get a flash drive and take it somewhere to print for 11cents a page. This has to be a defect. I know Epson would not get over on us like this.

Even when you're printing black text only, a small amount of color ink is used to keep the print head charged, preventing air bubbles from entering and damaging the print head.     Good Printer, BUT runs out of ink fast!

    Print quality is fine, but I am always buying inks. I just installed 2 inks and a head is stopped up, now the inks are below 50%. What is the deal? I use Epson printers professionally and love them, but this one is a dog!

    This printer is terrible. I had to return it immediately when I got it out of the box because there was a huge scratch on it. Then I started using it, and it prints at a snail's speed! So slow. Just tried to use the paper feeder to scan multiple pages too, and it keeps saying there's a paper jam. No matter what I do it won't scan all of the pages consecutively. Total garbage. I am returning it for the second time now and never, ever buying an Epson printer again. This is my first Epson, I usually go with HP. Won't make this mistake again.

    WORST PRINTER IN THE WORLD. Do not buy!

    Don't bother buying this piece of junk. It constantly runs out of ink even when not in use, it needs to be reconnected to the network on each print attempt even if back to back and will not recognize your devices. I've tried printing in black and white while waiting for our color ink to arrive but it still won't let me even though it gives you the option on the printer. This printer has given us nothing but problems since day one. Don't waste your money!

    Decent quality, crappy usage

    This printer is a decent printer for your home office. The quality of the print is NOT presentation level for business, but is okay for homework, inter office memos and the like. It is an absolute cartridge hog and burns through them even when the quality settings are reduced to save ink.

    Slow, and faulty

    I bought this because it had the same specs as the Cannon. Also, it came with a full supply of ink as opposed to the start ink the Cannon came with. When I print it gives me a "replace ink" warning. Also, it takes about 10 minutes for the print order to process and the pages start to print. I hate it.

    Paper jamming defect in product - dont buy!

    Please save yourself the grief and dont buy this printer model. I went through 2 of them in 6 weeks. They are unhelpful at Epson in terms of having a solution. The paper feeder jams easily and you cant fix it easily, its a defect in the product. I want to save all small business owners for going through what I went through with this company and model.
