Refuses to work if ink needs replaced.

It will not let me scan, fax nor print in black and white if I don't have the empty cartridge replaced. Do not buy if you need this for work.

However the past few months the ink levels have been driving me crazy. The cartridges are expensive and when I install a brand new black cartridge, the ink level shows up at 50%. The color cartridges are even worse because the ink doesn’t even print on paper after I install new cartridges for each color. I can no longer justify throwing so much money away on ink that won’t even print. So I will be making the switch to a printer that doesn’t use ink cartridges.

Ink is depleted too quickly

Two initiation cycles (replacement of two ink cartridges not simultaneously) would result in a 25% reduction in the ink level of a newly installed cartridge.
