Amazing Quality in a Small Package
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Epson Printer I have had and I have yet to have any problems with either. This printer has exceeded my expectations in terms of print quality, speed, and ease of setup. I decided to measure the amount of time from opening the box to my first print and I was very pleased that within 20 minutes it was printing high quality from my computer and phone. The LCD screen made hooking up to the wifi extremely easy, with a full QWERTY keyboard to type in the password. The description boasts laser quality printing, and I 100% agree. The quality of the text, image, and fine lines that this printer produces are as sharp as I have seen. Also, the ability to print double-sided is a huge plus! The overall size of the printer is probably my favorite part. My older Epson Printer, the ET-2600 (also an amazing product) was too large to sit on my desk so I had to move it. This printer, however, has found a permanent home on my desk. I have yet to find any cons with this printer and from what I have seen so far and I don't expect to find any. Overall I am extremely happy with this product and it will continue to be a part of my daily work. Great all-in-one for a small office or home office
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The WF-2860 is a compact and lightweight all in one that is great for a home office! Its print quality is near laser perfection, with built in 2 sided printing, which helps to save paper. The tray holds about 150 sheets. Scan quality is perfect! This AIO unit is for a light-duty workload. If you have a busy office and print a lot, you'll want a heavy-duty Workforce PRO series unit. This printer's Individual ink cartridges save money by only replacing the cartridge that is empty and not wasting the other inks. Each color cartridge costs around $15 for the standard size and a little more for the 200XL, the black cartridge is a little more. You'll want to grab an extra set of cartridges as the starter cartridges are not full capacity. While you're at it grab a usb printer cable if you want a wired connection to your computer. Wireless setup is a breeze! I use the NFC printing from my phone and tablet just by having it close to the printer. In my home office we have the printer on our network switch with the built-in ethernet, we don't use internet in the office but all the pc's are networked to the switch for collaboration, this worked perfectly. Pros: Small footprint, easy setup, great print quality, 2 sided printing, wirelessly prints using wifi or NFC, excellent scan quality and clarity. The only thing I wish this printer featured is refillable ECO-tank, this would cut ink costs and trash from empties. I would prefer the refillable feature just out of wanting to save money and help the environment. Perfect for my needs!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really dreaded setting up a new printer because of a really frustrating past experience where I was ready to pull my hair out! I was pleasantly surprised and relieved to find that the setup was incredibly easy and went very smoothly. The whole process took maybe 20 minutes. The step by step instructions are very easy to follow. The compact size is perfect for the space I have in my very small home office. It saves space because it really is all-in-one! You can print, scan, fax. So many great features. So convenient. It's perfect for a light user like me and it fits my needs perfectly. The touch screen is very easy to navigate on and simple to understand. It's more quiet than my previous printer and it prints must faster. The quality of the print is really good and photos are really high quality and look sharp. It is so convenient to be able to print from my phone. The print cartridges are more affordable than they are for some other printers which is important for me and my limited budget. I highly recommend this printer! Perfect 3 in 1 printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WorkForce WF-2860 is a compact printer, it prints including wirelessly, scan, fax all in one. No more having a seperate copy machine and fax machine taking up precious space in your office or home. The printer will hold 250 sheets of paper at a time. You are able to print in color or black. Quality printing just as good as a laser printer and is quiet when printing. You can scan multiple pages at a time and then select to have it print or send to your computer or Google Drive to save. I find that copying takes no time. You are able to print remotely, if you are using another computer you can print to the email address that is supplied by Epson, when you do this it will print out on your printer. Also supports Android printing as well. I am very impressed with this printer and would recommend this. Great printer for home or small business
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this printer to use in our warehouse office. The printer was well packaged when I opened the box. I immediately set it up in the spot I would be keeping it. I pulled off all of the green tape that it came with for shipping, and plugged it in and turned it on. It has a five minute setup that it will walk you through for putting the ink cartridges in. It also comes with a disc to install all the drivers and software. The whole process took no more than 10 minutes. After I was finished with all the setup I started printing multiple documents. Some were excel sheets, and one was even a picture on glossy photo paper. It takes a little bit longer to print things (pictures especially) than I had anticipated, but its still not too bad. Some pros and cons of it: Pros: -light in weight - holds a lot of paper in its tray -wireless printing support - can be used to fax as well as copy scan and print - the top feeder for scanning folds down flat when not in use - its very compact compared to other printers I've used - it has a "?" button for instant help guide - it can be set up to scan to the computer, cloud, or WSD computer Cons: -the touch screen can feel a bit small and difficult to type on -not the quietest -no usb cable included for direct link to computer -a little slow with printing I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member. The pros outweigh the cons with this printer. If you are looking for an all in one printer for you home office or just everyday printing, its worth it. A good printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After unboxing the WF-2860 (which takes no longer than 10 mins to plug and unbox everything). I began to connect drivers which is easily accessible on the Epson support section because I do not have a CD drive on my PC (CD is included inside the box). Once everything was complete, in all no more than 30 minutes. The touch panel on the printer is the right sensitivity that you do not need to mash your finger to connect via WiFi which is great for the guest bedroom desk (or office space where the router is not located). The screen could be bigger with the extra space on the panel. The amazing capability of installing the printer on top current or new computers is repeat and click the option "the printer is already on my wireless network". Only thing that is not included is a USB cord, so if you do not know one - add that to your cart if you want it in an office space. The size is perfect for an office space/home printer. With scanning and copying readily available. It is convenient to simple fan, or copy items that you need. Rather than going to a store or work center to do so. This printer is ideal for people that would need it and need an upgrade from printers that only function as a printer only. It is a good all in one combo that has limited funds or space. As for printing. It's not for someone needing 30 copies after 30 copies but has an average print speed and printing is a bit noisy. One feature I like, it has an auto duplex that makes it 2 sided and can be turned off. I like that feature because when I need to print 4 pages, I need it two sided; saves paper. Overall 4.8/5 for only the screen and the noise but still peaks to 5 with the .8, I highly recommend. Great Epson Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WF-2860 was very easy to setup and begin printing. The unit is smaller than the older Epson unit it replaced. Setup was a breeze. Initial setup was on a PC and was able to set it up via a wired network. Never needed to plug into USB. All software downloaded and installed without issue and it updated the printer right off the bat. Being on a strict work network, I was happy it was found and went through so easy. I then added the printer to my MacBook Pro and that went just as easy. I was able to print and scan over the network in very little time. Print quality is excellent. I have always liked Epson's quality. Prints are fast as well. Scanning quality is great via the ADF or the flatbed. The unit goes to "sleep" and a little glowing ring is all that is on. Once it gets a job, it wakes up and prints then it goes back to sleep. Printing from an iPad was easy as well. Overall, the quality of this printer is on par with every Epson printer I have owned. I typically used it for quick color proofs before I send the final job to my Epson Pro 9890. A great home office all-arounder.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Straight out of the box, setting up the Epson Workforce WF-2860 was fast and easy. Step by step instructions are clear and simple. Plug it in, pull off all the tape, put in the ink, connect to WiFi, run firmware updates, and then it was ready to go with all the basic functions - no more than 10 minutes. It has a small, compact footprint so it doesn't take up a lot of space, which makes it great for a small home office. Print quality is top notch in black and white, as well as color. Copying reproduces colors faithfully. Scanning is fast, and accurate. The FAX function is appreciated, but not something I use regularly. Printing from Android, or remotely via cloud or email address is a great feature, and makes it easy to print your shared/collaborative documents, or even make physical copies of your photos. The document feeder on the top makes it easy to do batch copies or scans. Ink cartridges are on par for price with other Epson products, which makes it relatively economical for personal use, but the ink capacity per cartridge seems a bit on the low side for business purposes - especially if you do a lot of color printing/copying. The touch screen is small and while easy to use, the layout of the menus makes it easy to accidentally press the wrong buttons, but once it is setup most functions don't require any interaction with it. It doesn't come with a USB cable, if you want to connect directly to your computer. Print speed seems a little on the slow side compared to my previous printer, but it is still more than acceptable. Overall, the Epson Workforce WF-2860 is a great little all-in-one printer/scanner/copier. Easy to setup and then it just works when you need it to. The handy help button next to the touch screen on the front panel makes it easy to figure out any issues that you may run into. Great Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd Epson Printer and the first Epson Printer and my first Epson with a touch screen. I'm so glad you added the touch screen!!! It was super easy to setup! I entered my WiFi password wrong the first time and it was so nice that it didn't delete it and make me start all over I was able to tap on the mistake, fix it and connect to the network. The menus are easy to navigate. Print quality is excellent and the size of this printer is compact and fits nicely in the space I needed it to. What you get for the price is amazing!!!!! Awesome AIO printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.setting up this printer was a breeze (replaced old printer adapter with the new one, i can reuse the usb printer cable though, plugged in the cartridge, windows auto detect the driver), i can use it right away within 10 minutes after delivered to me. The printer itself has a very small footprint and take up far less space on my desk compared to my old one. Printer quality are awesome (Epson that's what you expected), even though listed as for office, but i printed couple decent photos with this. Besides the quality, the speed is fast, all the functions works quite well. “This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

WorkForce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer Compact
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WorkForce WF-2860 is a great printer it offers a lot of functionality build in to a compact design such as automatic dual side printing, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct plus Ethernet, Easy mobile printing with NFC tap to print capability. This greatly allows options to use what is most convenient for the user at the time. It is very useful doing my experience i was able to connect my smartphone device within minutes with no problem securely. Overall the Printer is easy to operate definitely with doing basic function and with more complex printing as well which is great! Secondly, this printer including several nifty features in the setting options to really customize your ideal printing style or needs; from altering the border dimensions and increase text, photo quality, speed and with the PrecisionCore printing technology. Which greatly enhances and make the visual print looks a lot more vivid and really pops! The printer is a great improvement over my previous brother printer which this allows me to print, copy, scan high quality documents quickly at about 14 pages per minute with black copies and addition to an outstanding paper storage capacity of 150 pages for the compact size of the printer. This Epson WF-2860 is an excellent value with it compact design, high quality printing, ultra fast faxing and printing while still being energy efficient certified and uses less ink and energy the comparable and competitors multifunction printers. Highly Recommend this top performer for printing needs for home creativity and work related printing! Great full featured home office printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping for a home printer that was as close as I could get to my $10k office machine, feature rich and simple to use. The Epson WF-2860 is that printer. Setup out of the box was fairly straight forward, follow the printed directions, don't just toss them and assume you know how to do it! The steps were easy to follow and well-illustrated. Connecting to my Wi-Fi was easy, even with the tiny on screen keypad. After setup I loaded paper, put a glossy school picture of my 4 year old on the scan bed and hit copy. I'll be honest, I was shocked with how good it looked on regular paper. I can definitely see this being stellar for home prints on photo paper. I had a slight snag on printing from my Android, it wasn't as intuitive on how to accomplish this, (hint: download the "Epson Print Enabler" from the Play Store), but I believe it was more an Android issue than a printer one. Once the correct app/enabler was installed, I printed a vehicle window sticker I had saved on my phone and it was in my hands in under 30 seconds. Nearly zero lag time from pressing print on my phone to the printer getting started. The top paper feed for the scanner worked smoothly and overall it's one of the fastest inkjet printers I've used. Long and short, if you love your full function floor standing print center at work, this would be a wonderful addition to your home office. Compact Workhorse with a simple setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is very nice. It has a very easy setup. Wifi setup was a breeze. Quick & Quiet!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This all in one printer has a beautiful design and is not too large so it does not take up too much space! Setting up the printer was a BREEZE and took only about 10 minutes. This makes a great printer for dorms and small offices! The beauty of this thing is the setup time and also that it connects to your network via WiFi. Printing on this is super fast and considerably quiet for an inkjet. I only worry about the ink drying up if not used regularly. There is also the worry of running out of ink quickly. Regardless of this, I would definitely recommend it because it can be used as a scanner and the print quality is great. Chock full of features in compact package
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chock full of features this compact "workhorse" of a printer checked every box on my list. I unboxed and was printing in less than 20 minutes. The alignment process was a little tricky having to use the LCD screen to select the best images, however, the end result was that of beautiful vibrant images and clean lines. Several standout features of the WF-2860 were the ease of wireless connectivity, the ability to connect up to 4 devices (although given the technology in homes today an increase in this limit would be welcomed), and the use of 4 ink cartridges (black and 3 colors) instead of two, which means less ink is wasted and yields more cost savings on ink replacement. Also, compatibility with Epson connect (which gives the printer its own email address and solves the limited wifi connectivity issue) made it very easy to print from the office so the documents were waiting for me when I arrived home and scan documents to the cloud for use while at the office. this printer exceeded my expectations after spending several years struggling with a competitors product. If you're looking for an all-in-one with high quality printing and on-the-go capabilities this should be on your list! Great Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed this printer several weeks ago and have had a chance to really see what it is about. Starting from the beginning, the printer setup if fairly simple. Just aligning the paper during set up can take a little time but is fairly simple. If you wish not to use wireless which I don't know why you would choose not too, you are required to purchase a connection cord or reuse your old one from your previous printer to connect directly to the computer. After set up the printer worked flawlessly. Used the printer to print work documents and it immediately printed without any delay unlike my previous printer. I used it to print many form and did not have an issue. So I decided to test it with pictures. I printed a simple 4x6 picture and it came out clear with no distortions. Also was able to print from my cellphone without an issue. This printer is a great all around printer. Good printer and an affordable price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WorkForce WF-2860 is a high quality, yet affordable All-In-One that will work great in either a home or office environment. The design and form factory of the WorkForce WF-2860 makes it easy to integrate into an existing space. It is not this big bulky All-In-One like you may be used to seeing. You would think because of the size of the unit it would be lacking in features well I can assure you it is not. THe WorkForce WF-2860 does everything you would need it to do and more. Setup of the WorkForce WF-2860 could not be easier. Everything can be done from the touch screen display right at the unit. The one feature that I use the most is mobile printing and getting that set up on Android is supper simple all you have to do is download the companion app (which is really just the Android Print Drivers) and you will be up and running. Print quality is very good and I can easily use this to print logos and graphics without issue and without the worry of running out of ink in the middle of a job. The WorkForce WF-2860 is surprisingly good on ink usage! I would highly recommend purchasing this printer to anyone looking to add an All-In-One to there home office. WF-2860 All in One Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review Work Workforce WF-2860. Packing and unpackaging this printer is pretty standard. The Step by step instructions are clear and easy to follow. One challenge I did have is that the scanner bed will not stay open when adding the ink cartridges which may present a challenge for users new to printer installations. I was able to connect to wireless internet and download the latest firmware. This took about 15 minutes and the printer-started with no problems. Print quality with this printer is just outstanding. I printed plain, glossy, card stock and 24lb bright white and the black and white as well as color is very clean. Printing from Apple products is so convenient with a family with multiple devices that all want to print, or remotely via cloud or email address I setup is a great feature and makes it easy make physical copies of your photos. Really like the touch screen that can be set at an angle you can actually see the LCD screen while standing or sitting. The menus on the LCD screen make it easy to copy, scan, look at status and so much more. This printer is a great improvement over my work horse printer an Epson Stylus Photo RX600 All-in-One Printer which is still running after 13 years of use – Wow Epson that is amazing. The print, copy and scanning features are seamless and I am able to scan to any other the computer in the house by choosing from the drop-down list. Large documents print at 14 pages per minute with black copies and plenty of paper storage capacity with the 150-page tray. What is the kicker here is that the printer takes up about half the space of my old printer? Over all this compact printer has all the feature I need and more. Easy to setup and lots of features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Basic setup is done right on the 2.4" color touch screen. After I setup the wireless network I was able to complete the advance configurations using the Epson iPrint app. After that, I just had to install the ink cartridges and run the ink calibration which takes 5 minutes. The whole setup process took less than 20 minutes. I was able to wireless print from my Surface pro, MAC, IPad and iPhone with no issues. I also was able to scan a document to my MAC very easily. The iPrint app is very useful. It displays printer status, ink status, maintenance section which is where you can check for firmware updates and advanced settings. The only con I can find is it is a bit noisy when it prints but no louder than any other inkjet printer.
