Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the WorkForce WF-3620's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its reasonable price and compact size, along with the convenient setup and inclusion of fax and scanning capabilities. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud during operation and have noted challenges with the paper tray. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the reported minor drawbacks.

    Replacing an Epson Artisan

For some reason, BB thinks that my old review on the Artisan is for the WorkForce, but I'll submit a new one. I loved the Artisan; it had a great auto feeder and the photo printing was fantastic. But it had an issue (which turns out to be quite common) where the ink tube became clogged. While I could disassemble it, buy a cleaning kit and put it back together again, I figured after 4 years, I had gotten my moneys worth out of it and bought this WorkForce which according to reviews is a lot more reliable. It adds some new features like double sided scanning through the doc feeder and was dead easy to set up. I'm really happy with the print quality and the few things I disliked about the Artisan seem to be fixed in the WF. And you can't beat the price. I'm still sticking with Epson and glad I bought this printer.

For an inkjet printer, it's impressive....takes abnormally long time to scan from network though...otherwise,,,,super easy to install,,,operate and convenient for mobile printing

Printing seems fine so far. Copying, document feed, faxing, wifi functions all good. Print quality is acceptable. Print utility (for Mac) is actually helpful. Down side: you can only load one size paper at a time. Does not print on CD/DVDs.

    Best Printer for the Money

The last three printers I bought cost around $200 each. This printer was only $89.95, and it does everything I need: copies, scans, prints from my phone or computer. No faxing - I don't have a land line. I can't believe how much better it is than my previous printer. It's quick - no waiting for "printer preparation", quiet, and produces high quality print and photos. I've already recommended it to several friends.

    Definitely a Disappointing Product!

I had high hopes for this Epson Printer and did my due diligence in researching all the comparable models. Let me just start out by saying this isn't a bad printer. It just isn't that great of one either. When it come to simple, black and white and low size prints (from a website or a Word Document) the printer does a fine and quick job. The second, however, you try dealing with color prints or even black and white prints for a PDF or a lecture, the speeds become so slow. To put it in perspective, I had a 10 page PDF, single-sided lecture I wanted to print that was in color. This is a similar document that I have printed off my old $30 Cannon printer, and it took about 3-5 minutes. However, on my Epson printer, it took an astonishing 15 minutes to print. I couldn't believe how slow it took. (That's 3X slower for a $100 printer, compared to a $30 one.) I had purchased this printer because I had believed it would be great for color prints, and the color quality is indeed good. However, taking 15 or 20 minutes to print out a 10 page color PDF file is ridiculous. I could've easily gone out and bought another cheap $30 Cannon printer and gotten much faster speeds. I cannot comment on the copying, scanning or faxing components of this printer, because I simply do not use these features at the moment. But when it comes down to printing speed, this printer falls flat on his face.

Finally found a good all-in-one, must have WiFi

I had been a loyal HP customer with all-in-one printers. Then a few years ago HP would send updates and it would take all day for me to get my printer working again. They outsourced their customer service that was so bad. Their English was so bad you couldn't understand them and they never understood anything about the HP products to help. I have been searching for a replacement printer but they were all very cheaply built. Even brought one home and returned it the next day. This was was fairly easy to set up. I love having the latest tech toys so installing a new device is not so difficult for me. This was fairly simple. Still have to figure out how to print from my apple devices. The instructions are not helping and I haven't had the time to investigate more. It DOES NOT HOOK UP DIRECT so you have to have WiFi.

Previously had a Canon that we thought was pretty good, but this one blows the Canon away! Quick printing, and so far the ink seems to last a long time. Very easy to set up & begin to use. No cons at all about this printer!

    Instructions lacking!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Quick start instructions are not what they should be!! Before one can install the ink cartridges, you must go through the process of setting the printer up on the touch screen pad, date time, etc. I could not find this instruction anywhere. The process takes about 10 minutes including the set up and priming of the ink cartridges, One can not install the ink cartridges until you do the set up so the carriage moves over to the left. Nothing else can be done till this process is completed. Also the scan function is very, very, very slow!! The print process is fast and I give this item a 4 star because of the price but this is liberal, only because the price was good and the ink cartridges are not too expensive.

The Epson printer is great for basic home office use. It was easy to set up and easy to use. We basically just use it for scanning and printing, but it also has fax capability for those that might want such a thing.

Love my new wireless printer. Like having one piece of equipment that scans, fax and print instead having fax and printer.
