Customers are saying
Customers have good things to say about the WorkForce WF-3620's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its reasonable price and compact size, along with the convenient setup and inclusion of fax and scanning capabilities. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud during operation and have noted challenges with the paper tray. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the reported minor drawbacks.

Good printer Rev-2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the printer for a while now and I think it prints very well and has the fax option that work well. I found out when you have to change the ink you have to follow their on screen instructions it will move the cartridge carrier out for access otherwise you may damage the printer. The only con I have is when I want to print an envelope I have to follow an extreme process.

Best printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After being very disappointed with my last two HP printers I decided to try the Epson WorkForce. It is fast and I really like it. Little difficult to figure out how to change the cartridges in the beginning but I found it's best to let them get completely empty so the printer forces you to change the cartridges. The procedure is much easier. I'm very pleased with this printer.

Perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the printer I've been looking for. It was quick and easy to set up, the document feeder works quickly and the printing is fast as well. I initially purchased the HP Officejet 6600 and went through two of those machines in less than two weeks due to defects. I recommend the WF-3620 as an alternative, plus it even does two sided copies flawlessly.

Not so great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does what you pay for. However it is super slow, startup takes about two and a half minutes. It makes a lot of noise when starting up, printing and powering off. Scanner is super slow and the included software is rather simple and won't let you do much with your scanned paper.

Very good printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the printer for two months now and I am still glad I purchased it! The printing works great and the scans I have done are fine. I am still on the original ink cartridges so I can't say how long they last. I would recommend this to my friends as a good printer.

Hardware issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My second WF. First one replaced with re-manufactured model, which lasted another year. Then my wife replaced that with a WF 3620 (which of course had a different cartridge number - so the extras I had for old printer wouldn't work on the new). Worked great until one month after warranty expired - now print head needs to be replaced (black works great; cyan spotty; but yellow and magenta do not work at all). Have repeatedly cleaned heads and actually used up cartridges doing so. Cost to repair will be more than the cost of a new printer - so I guess the answer is to just replace every other year. Fax and wifi printing work great; scanner ok but not up to par with stand alone scanners.

Good printer but not easy to use rear feed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was impressed with a previous Epson Workforce printer and when it failed I decided to purchase this one based on the reviews. I found it easy to set up and has it running on my wifi quickly. All was well until I tried to use the rear feed of the printer. I discovered that it only allows one sheet or envelope at a time. You have to wait to be prompted to insert the paper, and then carefully slide it in the feed. Another problem is that you need to send the print job to the printer BEFORE you insert the paper which is where you need to specify the rear feed as the source. I have programs that don't have the printer setup option available so I need to change the printer preferences to always use the rear feed. I would have thought that the printer should be able to sense paper in the rear feed and use it.

Why didn't I listen to my gut?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this yesterday. I was looking at an HP when the nice salesman convinced me that this was a great printer. I came home to hook it up to my IMAC and my HP desktop computer. I did the Mac first...no problem, works fine. I do the same setup for the HP and it goes fine, and them gives me an error message with something about "corrupted a file" but it finishes. I go to print the test page....nothing. I try again...nothing. I open a word document and type up something, hit print...nothing. I call tech support for Epson who runs me through a bunch of "try this, click this..etc" and she finally says "I think you have a problem with your internet. (I can't get on any website now as well as can't print anything) I contact my service provider who runs me through a bunch of tests and determines that my internet is fine and it must be my computer. My Mac still works fine and is connected to the computer and is also connected to the same router and CAN get on the internet. I have no wifi now in the house. I contact HP who keeps me on the phone for at least 4 hours trying everything imaginable to help me. Nothing works. No internet, and no printing on this HP computer. I was on the phone till midnight last night. I started this process at 4:00 pm. Fast forward to today. I call my service provider Century Link because maybe, just maybe there is a problem with my router or something since my mac works fine and is getting internet but my HP is not. No, we do test after test and its all fine. I contact HP who now wants me to wipe clean my entire computer because they think that the EPSON disc corrupted my computer and they want to start over. I have spent the last few hours backing up all my files because I think this is the next step. I couldn't give this a 1 rating because it works on my Mac, but I sure can't give it a 5 AND if the tech person hadn't said "I think its your service provider and I cant help you because all I know is printers" I probably would have given it a 3 star. She was nice, but not helpful at all and couldn't have gotten me off the phone fast enought.

Practical All Purpose Home/Office Device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is functional allowing me to send pictures to print from my smartphone while faxing an item. I can scan a document to the cloud in an instant while setting up the device to print a large document on the front and back side.

Seems to be an excellent printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took over two hours to install. The disc that it comes with is not usable with Windows 10. Had to chat with an Epson rep to get it installed. Between firewalls and a host of other issues I finally got it correctly working. The Epson customer service rep was very helpful but there were a lot of issues. Don't expect to install this in 30 minutes if you have windows 10.

Follow Up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit failed after 4 months. It took almost a week to get a replacement. They treat you like a criminal by taking your credit card to begin the return process then threaten multiple times that they will whack your card if you don't send back the broken one. Took hours to set up the new (actually refurbished. most have been the last guy's broken one). It came with nothing but the return label. I finally figured out that the router had to be rebooted for the printer to be seen on the network. Now I sit here for 25 minutes waiting for fedex to answer to schedule a pick up. To schedule a pick up on line you must be a registered account holder. So I called and after 10 minutes of wrestling with the voice recognition, or lack of, I wait for a human. Lost my whole Saturday. Should have stuck with HP.

1 yr old and black ink distortions/photos poor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer is not a year old and the black ink only distorts multiple lines in a letter and photos are low quality on the best setting. have run all the fixes short of manually cleaning the heads which , so i read, rarely works.. my 10 year old hp 8250 prints photos with much much higher quality and had a dedicated photo tray so it was so simple to print a picture using photo paper just push the photo tray button on the printer. have printed several photos on this printer and they just arent even close. granted the 8250 had more color cartridges. bought a new hp printer before this epson and it had poor picture quality and it sounded like a train coming through the room. this one was at least better than it. the paper trays on this epson and the new hp were very dinky. Im gonna try a new brand next in the 150 dollar range.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping to have found our new printer based on the great reviews, but was disappointed when I started to set it up. I am not new when it comes to hooking up device to our network and having them work properly, but this time for whatever reason didn't happen. I was able to "connect" to our network but it wasn't recognized by my computer even after using the installation CD. I kept getting errors. 2 hours later I finally got it to recognize it but then couldn't use the scan function. Kept getting more error messages even though my computer was connected with a USB and also tried wireless. Nothing. So frustrating when I have had other Epson printers and have had no problems whatsoever connecting. Going to be trading it back in for a different printer and hoping for a better result! Also, trying to find 252 and the 252XL cartridges are not readily available as other ink cartridges.

Crapped out after 2 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it worked, I was happy with it. Seemed to drink ink slower than my previous HPs. However, a printer lasting only two years with a relatively low volume of use is not acceptable. Unfortunately, that seems to be the norm these days. This printer stopped working without warning. Started throwing an error code 0x97. Check it out online, this is not an unusual occurrence for a variety of Epson models.

Do not buy this printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer because I was attracted by its multi-functionality and good price. I have it for roughly one year and ever since I have done endless software updates to fix issues such: printer is offline, bad cartridge alignment, blurry or smeared printouts etc. I also suspect its software does not precisely measure the amount of ink left. it seems that I am always running short on ink, and trust me I don't over-use it! The scanner is the only feature that appears to be working properly. I deeply regret of buying it!
