Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the WorkForce WF-3620's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its reasonable price and compact size, along with the convenient setup and inclusion of fax and scanning capabilities. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud during operation and have noted challenges with the paper tray. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the reported minor drawbacks.

    HORRIBLE PRINTER

I write this review with so much sadness. I read all the reviews on this printer before buying it . The problem starts with Low ink, then it starts giving an error message;"Paper Jam" whereas there's no paper anywhere. I am so disappointed. VERY HORRIBLE PRODUCT.

Nice printing and quality. Cloud services suck!

It has a lot of issues connecting to the various cloud services, including both Google and Epson. Make sure you've opened XMPP (TCP port 5222) on your firewall to enable cloud traffic to pass between your printer and the cloud provider. Even doing so, however, you'll get an almost constant "Cannot find host. Check your DNS settings" error. DNS settings will most likely be correct, but this stupid thing still can't figure out how to find anything on the internet, except the firmware updates. If you're planning to use cloud services, find a better printer.

    Never got through step 2

Bought this due to reviews and customer input in store. Hooked up my new PC with no issue in less than 15 minutes. Plugged in printer, went to set up, turned on and ERROR....0x69.....messed with this for over 1 1/2 hours. Called Epson, they said hardware failure and they would replace. They said they needed to place a hold on my CC for $101. I said no thanks, will return to Best Buy. What a waste.

    Poor quality; worse customer service

The black print head nozzle clogged before the factory cartridge had even run out. The first couple times I ran the cleaning cycle I could get a few pages printed. When the cartridge ran out, I replaced it with a generic brand. I never got even the first page printed out of that thing. I finally called support, who were extremely rude and unhelpful. I explained the problem, and the outsourced technician told me in his most condescending tone that the problem is the generic cartridge. I reiterated that the problem began while using the original Epson cartridge. Doesn't matter. Epson will not honor the warranty while a non-Epson cartridge is in the machine. So I went and bought an Epson cartridge, replaced it, ran the print head check, ran two cleaning cycles, and it still did not work. Called support who are now telling me that "because the non-Epson cartridge caused damage they will not fix or replace it." It doesn't matter how clearly I explain that "THE PROBLEM BEGAN WHILE USING THE ORIGINAL EPSON CARTRIDGE." They will not budge. I hardly ever write reviews, but I want to warn everybody considering an Epson product to purchase at your own risk.

It's an okay all in one printer with glitches.

Set up was smooth but had issues with the printer, consistently was dropping off the network computers, and the email scanning is complicated. Called Epson tech support and they couldn't help. So I returned the printer.

    Horrible!

This printer is JUNK! From the first time I plugged it in, it kept telling me there was a paper jam. There is NO JAM! After about an hour of toying with it I tried holding down the stop and reset buttons for about 15 seconds then turning it off and the error finally went away on start up. Now, every time the power goes out, it does it again and I reset it by holding those 2 buttons down. On top of that, it will not print clearly. The text looks like you're seeing double. I did a head clean and head alignment. On the horizontal alignment, it asks me to chose which rectangles are touching and not overlapping and do not have a space between them. All of the rectangles have a space between them so I cannot properly choose the right number. I should have returned it but just didn't. It's been about 6 months now. So now I am stuck with a piece of junk that prints everything in doubles. I'm sure glad USPS doesn't mind the drunk-looking labels I attach to my boxes because I cannot get this printer to work properly! I will never buy an Epson again.

"Only works with 2.4Ghz wifi Routers"??

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Bought this Epson printer this afternoon. Could not get it to show up from any wireless device. Couoget it to see the printer, trying to set it up via USB (2.0). Tried rebooting router. Updated the printer's firmware via USB. Uninstalled /reinstalled the Epson Software through Add/Remove Programs in Windows 10. Finally gave up and called Epson "Technical Support" in India.. my call was escalated at my request three different times. All of the claiming to be experts. They said no 4G or 5G Wireless router would work with their printer! They insisted it was only compatible with 2.4Ghz wifi routers! I promptly boxed up the piece of garbage after 3 hours of purchase, returned it to Best Buy, and was (thankfully) given a full refund. They couldn't care less why we were returning it. I will never purchase an Epson product ever again.

    Colors are not very good

I bought this printer to replace an HP all in one. I thought the new precision core system would have better color for my design projects. I have now replaced all colors twice in attempt to get the colors to print correctly. Support had me clean the print heads repeatedly to no avail. This seemed like a nice, compact printing solution....the print quality is just not very good

    Terrible Printer

Black ink was empty so I ran out and bought the XL cartridge. Now the color ink is low. It printed a few b&w pages and is now "Paused" and will not print. I thought this was one that would let you print b&w if color was low- apparently I was wrong. Printer has also been finicky connecting to laptops.

    Epson Workforce WF-3620 Printer

Printer worked good for the first six months. After the first six months ghost issues starting popping up. Printer errors, failure to print, had to reboot numerous times, poor quality prints both standard text printing and photos. Would smudge the text and prints. Have to reboot almost every time and manually push the print button. Bought a two year replacement and have 4 months left on the contract. Will see how Best Buy honors the replacement contract.

    Used to like Epson

We bought the WF3620 in 2/16 (with a 2 yr warranty) to replace an HP that had a fatal flaw. On 3/7/17 our 3620 gave me the dreaded Error 0X97 . A hardware issue. The refurb replacement did the SAME thing out of the box.....How frustrating is this??? I would pay $ 300 for a printer if I knew it would work for 5 years... I will try this one more time. Than its quits if the 3rd one doesn't work.

    Nice paperweight

I purchased the WF-3620 10 months ago. I doubt that I printed more than 25 sheets before the black cartridge was empty, after replacing it ...the nozzles are clogged. If you want a printer that eats ink (which by the way the cartridges cost as much as the printer) at a rapid rate and requires maintenance like an early 80s Plymouth... THIS IS YOUR PRINTER!

Printhead failed in less than 1-1/2 years

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Have never had a printer fail as fast as this one did. Blurry printing after less than a year and a half. Cleaned print heads multiple times, etc. and have only ever used OEM cartridges. No unusually high or low usage. Read online that Epson has smaller than typical print nozzles so this tends to happen. Avoid this printer!

I've installed many network and wifi printers. My wife couldn't get this one to install. I thought it was just her. I tried myself and have spent several hours. Online support is worthless It is almost worth the money to take this printer out and smash it to pieces. I will return this junk instead.

I unplugged the printer for about a week while I was out of town and I can't connect to it over wifi or using a usb cable. Also the touchscreen and buttons no longer respond. This thing is a piece of garbage
