This printer was easy to set up and has given no problems in the first months of use. Pluses: large paper trays (yes, plural--there are two trays and a third path for cardstock, etc.) and good autofeeder. The color is fine (but not photographic, if that is what you need) and can be switched off to print things in b/w as a default cost-saver. As usual, the company will make more money, over the life of the printer, on the ink than on the printer itself. The printer has a reasonably small footprint, but it is quite tall, so check space availability.

This all in one machine is easy to set up and use. The quality of the copies is great and the price is very reasonable.

I purchased this printer as a quick replacement for a <3 year old Canon MG8220 which started malfunctioning - it was a very good photo printer and had an excellent flatbed scanner, but it was programmed to waste ink - and a LOT of it. So I resolved to buy a different brand. This Epson was on sale at Best Buy, and though it didn't include photo negative and slide scan capability like the Canon, it was still a color printer and DID include automatic two-sided copying, so I decided to try it. Setup was easy - no issues - and it does a very credible job of scanning photo prints and documents. No problems with the two-sided printing, and when I start it up, it's ready to go in a small fraction of the time of the Canon, which went though a lengthy ink wasting cycle on every startup and shut down. Photo quality of the Epson isn't quite as good as the Canon, but acceptable for most purposes. Text document printing is just fine - and, again, everything is faster than the Canon was. Price was right as well, and I had no problem getting BB to do a price match. I don't know what the long-term durability will be, but I bought the Geek Squad 4 year warranty, just in case - there's a lot of mechanical stuff going on inside to do 2-sided copying or feed from multiple trays, so I bought the extended warranty and still got the package for well under MSRP.

I was shocked when this ink jet printer worked as well as my laser printer and gave me the option of color with speed and automatic data feed with 2 sided scanning, copying and printing. I would recommend this for its quality of print, speed and great options usually only found on laser printers.

I'm so very happy I bought this printer. In the past I always bought HP printers and found them to be difficult to work with. The HP operating software has been hard to use, glitchy, slow and frustrating. Also the HP ink jet printers take a long time to get ready to print after a reboot. Installation of this Epson was simple and quick. It worked the first time and has worked flawlessly since. There are some weak areas however, particularly printing color photos which are of mediocre quality. The HP did a better job of photo printing. My recommendation is not to buy this Epson if you want to print high quality photos. Better to send them to Walgreens, or purchase a printer made specifically for photos. Besides that the print quality of documents is excellent, it scans well, has two paper trays with will hold lots of paper and prints relatively quickly.

All functions, print, copy, scan, and fax are extremely easy to use with this printer. Initial setup was very easy. Utilizing the two paper cassettes lets you print large documents with having to refill paper storage. Printing product was clean and clear, easy to read. A good printer for home office or personal use.

This printer/copier/scanner/fax machine was just what we were looking for. It is reasonably priced and easy to use. We have multiple computers hooked up to it and when scanning, it asks which computer you would like info to be sent to. Would certainly recommend this product to anyone.

Comes with ink that seems to be lasting well. Very easy setup, I like the wifi direct feature. Sharp printing. Awesome printer

I have have had many HP printers but have become disgusted at how prolonged and complex setup it and every new computer it terrible to get to use with a HP printer so was looking for an alternative. This printer installed simply with iPad and iPhone printing and remains stable on my network. God and rapid output with great graphics and two trays. Easy scanning and eprinting. This is a great printer

The Epson WF-3640 has been an excellent upgrade for my multi-tasking needs. It was easy to install and is an excellent performer. I've only had it a short time, so have only pushed it through basic functions of printing, copying and scanning, but it has done ALL beautifully and without hassle. It has a few "quirks" I had to get used to, but I'm trainable! Love the WI-FI functionality -- just plug it in, do the software driver set up, and it's ready to go. Highly recommend.

EXCEPT it had a lot of glitches at first. Would not print consistently. We tried everything. Now it's printing pretty consistently. Where it does rate 5 stars is in picture quality and ease of set up. 4 stars because although it sets up easy, the first few printings (about 20) had error codes either before or after printing.

My printer of fifteen years died. I needed another printer badly, so I did some research .In my research the Epson WorkForce WF=3640 kept showing up . It was reasonably priced, so I decided to buy it. It has everything I wanted.- Speed, WIFI, good copies, and very easy to use. I give it five Stars

Bought this to replace my epson workforce 610. Had a small glitch setting it up with my wireless but was not the fault of the printer (had to reset my router) then worked flawless. A little bit big for what I need but because it works wireless can stuff it in the spare bedroom. Touch screen is nice, two sided printing is great. Haven't tried printing from my mobile device yet but glad I have that option. Ink is affordable. Very happy so far.

Prints, faxes, scans, and copies. Small foot print. Ethernet. Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi-Direct capable. Draft quality printing is ridiculously fast. Photo's were average but get better if you take the time to tweak the settings. A bit louder than I expected.

I am so glad I bought this printer. It has absolutely everything I wanted and I am so glad I decided to get this printer. At first the size of the printer was intimidating, but it was easy to set up and I can also send stuff to the printer from my phone. It has an entire mobile set up and I am glad I went for the wifi printer.

Holds lots of paper. Wireless printing is great since I have multiple computers. Prints fast and clear in black and white. Only gripe is the color/picture printing isn't as color accurate but it does print color pictures very clear.

Epson is a name to trust. This printer does it all.....print one side or two, print photos, scan, copy, prints at a decent speed, high quality printing, and remote wireless printing is a treat. As a home printer it's spectacular. As a small business printer......it would still be a fantastic choice because it's also serves as a fax which is a special addition when used as a home printer too.
