Packing was good, secure and easy to open. The printer was easy to take out the box. The instructions were clear, easy to read, and understand. The setup process took about 15 minutes because it takes about 6 minutes to charge the cartridges once they have been inserted in the printer. To save time on setup I installed the cd to my laptop while the ink cartridges were charging. Overall, the setup process was easy to follow and I did not need any additional assistance. Print time when connected directly to the laptop 1-2 minutes to begin the first time after that it was 1-2 seconds. The print tine from my iPad and iPhone were instant. The photos came out looking almost life like and dried quickly, I didn't have to wait to pick them up once they came out the printer. The cons to this printer is it is extremely big so you would need plenty of space to store it. I also didn't like the option to not be able to scan, copy, or fax. In a business setting those options are essential. So you would have to purchase an additional printer for that. I don't know WHAT all the other reviewers are talking about. This thing is a piece of junk. Sure it's fairly easy to connect to it on the network... but that's the only good thing about it. 1. Ink it comes with runs out fast 2. The printer WILL NOT PRINT if any of the COLOR ink cartridges are empty... even if you have loads of BLACK ink and CHOOSE to print B/W in the print dialog. WHY should the printer refuse to print in B/W when I have a full tank of black ink? Money grab. 3. You can't open the top and proactively replace "low" ink early. The printer doesn't allow you to move the print head to a position where you can swap out a cartridge. You can ONLY swap it out when the printer finally tells you it's empty. 4. When you are printing and there is any kind of problem, it will not surface that problem to you on the computer, it only shows you on the printer's little screen. So... if you print a document, don't be surprised if the document never prints and you never get a warning at your computer. People will just keep trying to print again due to that lack of feedback, and further back up the print queue until someone notices there's a problem on the printer's little window. Garbage.

When I received my printer, it was a lot bigger than I expected! I was very surprised. It was great size and does everything I needed. Setting it up was super easy, the instructions were very clear and told you exactly what you needed to do. Setting it up to Wifi was also pretty simple! I was worried about getting the ink in right, but the instructions told you exactly what to do and it was smooth sailing! Once I got everything up and running I tried it out and it worked great! The printer does a lot of things I needed. The print is perfect and nice. I love that I can just sit at my Laptop and just hit print and it will print anything right at my printer! So easy and so handy to have. Just simple. I haven't had a printer that has worked in years, and this one is perfect. Crystal clear picture and I am loving it!

This was super easy to set up. One of my favorite things about this printer is it holds a LOT of paper! Thanks Epson for that! Print quality is pretty good. This is my 3rd Epson printer and I'm always impressed with the quality Epson puts out. The printer is pretty silent. I love that it will print large format and edge to edge printing. This is going to be great for my small business! I love that it's super easy to print from my smart phone too. This printer does take up a lot of space, but totally worth it for all the paper it holds. It's the size of our black and white laser in our office. Solid Business Grade Printer

The box is very heavy, if you're smaller or older I recommend getting another person, that being said the printer isn't too heavy and the unboxing was very simple. Inside the box is the printer, power cord, paperwork/setup guide, and ink. The box has no USB cable or ethernet cable, but they are not necessary for setup or use in many cases. If you do need one you can find them pretty cheap at any store that sells electronics or you could use old ones laying around. After unboxing setup was straightforward and easy, when installing the ink make sure you only take off the yellow tape, there's a spot where ink comes out with clear film, do not remove it, it can mess things up. A benefit is that this printer can have 2 different types of paper loaded at once, 500 pages in each tray (1000 papers all together). The screen is small, but it works and was not an issue, entering wifi passwords was a slight annoyance, but you should only need to do that one time, make sure you look at the screen to see how to change to lowercase letters or numbers. Another drawback is that this does not have a scanner and that may be a deal breaker for some, but this is still a great printer. You can print from your phone and that is very handy, I printed a document I needed from my iPhone 7 Plus and it instantly printed, but that may be due to how fast my internet connection is (in this case it was 30 mbps through WiFi, if I connected through Ethernet (not really viable in my case) I’d get my full 100mbps, but you can't really print faster than instantly. Using NFC was extremely easy too, just touch your android phone to the little N logo on the left side of the printer and it instantly takes you to the Google Play Store and takes you to get the app. You can reach advanced printer features by typing the printer’s IP address into your browser, you can get the IP address by going to Settings -> Network status -> Print status sheet, this will be 3 pages long. For some reason it says the page is not secure, just go anyway, this unlocks a lot more options and is reminiscent of a router’s settings page, this is where you set up Google cloud print, one warning though, when I changed the SSL Encryption I was unable to access the page again, I had to reset the network settings, though I am sure I could have fixed this with the app, on Windows 10 Pro my driver automatically installed (I never used the CD that came with the printer) and the driver was the latest one so that is handy. All around this is a solid printer that I recommend for businesses and people that can get by without a scanner, but if you do need a scanner Epson has plenty of models that include one. A great home office printer

This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 wide format all-in-one printer. This printer is designed for home offices or small businesses in that seems like it wants to compete in the laser printer class for printing in black. It has the option to purchase a large and xl black cartridges for volume printing. Unfortunately it only includes the small cartridges from the start. Since this is targeted as home offices and small businesses, I can always wish the first cartridge would have been the mid-range size as you’re investing in the upgraded model. My first impressions of this printer was “wow this is large”. It is fairly sizeable and weights a bit over 30lbs. The benefits to this is that you have two different trays for loading different size paper or types of paper. It also had a manual feed option that you can use if you choose. When I received the package, setup was easily done once I removed all the tape securing the device. Navigation is done via a black and white 2.2 inch lcd screen with navigation buttons that are self-explanatory. The Epson description says touchscreen, it’s NOT. It took <10 minutes to connect to wifi and upgrade firmware. This should be done on all new devices for security and performance improvements. It has the option to connect via Ethernet, wifi, usb, or nfc for printing purposes. I connected via wifi and haven’t had any drops in connection while using it. It includes the cd and software for usage but I prefer to connect via Windows 10 built in utilizes. I don’t like extra software on my computers when the built in can handle the options. The Windows 10 software has handled everything I need to use the device for at the current time but doesn’t have the option to print from different trays by choice that I could see. In terms of printing quality, the PrecisionCore printing works amazing! Its fast, has great reproduction of colors, and just worked. You can’t beat a laser printer on speed but this comes close and prints in photo quality pictures if you need them. I rarely need to print in that high of quality but it’s nice to have that option. I like the option of being able to print 2-sided as well. Every printer should have this feature and it should be enabled by default. Epson advertises that each standard cartridge can print around 300 pages. A full set of black, cyan, magenta, and yellow costs around $40 or you can get singles for about $13. The black in extra-large size is around $35 and is advertised to print 1100 pages. The extra high capacity is about 2200 pages is costs upward of $70. I would wish that you’d get some discount buying in bulk but it only pays off for upgrading from the standard. Standard size costs about 4.3 cents a sheet and the xl and xl high capacity both are around 3.18 cents a sheet. Pro’s: Fast printing for ink-jet, great color reproduction, option to print photo quality prints, easy setup, 2 sided printing option, option to upgrade black ink to large capacity cartridges. Con’s: Its still ink jet and the ink is expensive. It’s not an all in one. An all-in-one should have scanner as well. Black and white lcd screen, upgrade to a decent sized color touch screen. Even cheap phones have a decent screen In summary, if you own a home business or small business, this would be a great printer for you. It gives the option of printing great photos, color prints, or black and white all while not costing much more than an equivalent laser printers operational costs. I’d like to see the extra high capacity cartridge cost a little less or there isn’t any benefit to buying it. Crisp and clear printing, easy setup.

I’ve been using this printer for about 3 weeks and have been very happy with its performance. The visual clarity of printed characters is very crisp and easy to read. Other things I like: - Easy setup – I did not need the instruction manual as the prompts on the LCD screen were straightforward. Initial setup very easy; enter date and time and then it does its thing for about 6 minutes. - Wifi enabled – Found my wifi network quickly and connected easily, instantly networking the printer to the rest of my office. - Crisp printing – Easy to read text; print quality is very good, on par with basic laser printer models. - Multiple paper feeds – I keep scrap paper in one feed to use for unimportant documents as a way to save paper. - Both sides – I really like that the printer can print on both sides. - Quick – The printer prints as fast as laser printers that I’ve used. - Energy Star rated – Appreciate this rating and its energy conserving design. Small challenges I ran into: - Ink cartridges don’t have a very satisfying click when inserting but they go in without issue. - Setup menu for wifi fairly intuitive but not stellar. Entering password slightly awkward with arrow keys. - The size of the printer is a bit larger than I expected but I believe that’s due to the multiple paper feeds and wide format capability (I haven’t used wide format printing yet but may do so in the future; great that this feature is built-in). Over all I think this is an excellent printer for home or small office use. The fact that it connects so easily to my existing office wi-fi network makes it a great shareable resource. Great, Massive Printer!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

When I first unboxed the Epson WF-7210, I was taken aback by the size. This printer is massive! This is a wide-format printer, so the extra size is needed. If you have limited space for a printer, this might not be the printer you need. This is also JUST a printer, it says all-in-one, but there is not scanner bed for copy/scan. This printer is more for printing full-page graphics, and for that, this printer excels. The printing speed for full color is impressive, and the color quality will not let down. This printer also has two paper trays for a total capacity of 500 sheets. It also has a page feeder in the back. The initial setup was very simple. Plug it in, turn it on, and follow the directions. Once that is set, you have two options to set it up with a computer. Either plug it in via USB (the printer drivers auto-install on Windows and is ready to print in seconds) or set the printer up on your Wi-Fi network (I suggest plugging it into the router via RJ-45 Ethernet cable if possible). If your smartphone is equipped with NFC, simply touch your phone to the NFC logo on the printer, and it will direct you to download the Epson E-Print app. Once installed, touch it again and the printer will be set up on your phone. Overall, I was very impressed with this printer. Again, this may not be your every day, home printer. This is geared toward full-page graphics or anything you need to print in a wide format. Setup is a breeze, and the speed and quality of the printer are certainly impressive. Fantastic Print Quality

I've only had this Epson WorkForce WF-7210 for a few days but so far this is an impressive large format printer that produces very nice copy. I have always had HP printers but this printer has changed my mind. I work my printers hard. Between printing work documents and photographs, my printer works had. I print legal size contracts and many presentations during the week. When I get a chance, I will print pictures that I have taken over the course of the week during job inspections. This printer handled it all with ease, and best of all with speed. The print was clear and the color on the photos were crisp. This is my first wide format printer and I am amazed at how well the photos printed without borders. The photos were great. The printer has double paper trays which is nice because I can load the paper up and not worry about running out of paper while printing my presentations. The printer can be connected via an ethernet connection or wi-fi. This is great because I can have the printer in one room and print from another. This set up works well since the printer is on the large side and I needed to find a place to put it. What I also like is that I can print directly from my iphone. It is quick and easy and I am able to print pictures and emails. Setting up the printer was easy. The included directions were easy to follow and I was able to set up the printer fairly quickly. This is definitely a printer that I am planning on using for a longtime. My first impression was. OMG its huge. It is definitely not for small spaces! Then I opened the box and began to put it on the desk. The instructions could use a little work, I will be honest. But overall it was fairly quick to assemble. The set up on the other hand was not as easy. Trying to select the type of paper and size of paper got the better of me and I had to ask for my daughter to come help me complete the task. I began working with this printer the next morning. I had to print a floor plan and layout. It was both easy, and impressive. The colors are vibrant and well defined. It does its tasks in an average amount of time and does so relatively quietly. I have not liked the smell of a lot of printer inks in the past and this one has hardly any smell at all. I especially like the quality of the print duplication. It is , by far, the best printer I have had at that task. The photo prints are very clear and have well defined edges. I would recommend this printer to anyone who has a good deal of space to place it. If you have a small area for a printer, its not for you and that's a shame! “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Upon receiving the printer I ssaw it was much bigger than I had imagined. My wife and I had a hard time getting it into the room it was to be in but from there on the set up was super easy and simple. There are instructions to guide you easily step by step. The printer is nice and compact. I love that it can store two paper types within itself and also have a third option in the back tray. Printing is nice and smooth. The performance meets my standards and is great for family use. I love to use it to print things from campus about a mile away over the internet. My wife prints large amounts of papers for children and overall it does its job. It prints quickly in black and white. Color printing is slow as expected. The only thing I could think of that would make it better would be a scanner. My first impression of this printer is that it is huge. I had a little trouble finding where I should put it in my office, Once I found a spot for it I proceeded with the install. The instructions that come with the printer are great and it was very easy to install and get the printer up and running. Once I had everything ready to go I started playing around with all the features on this feature rich printer. My favorite thing about this printer is that I can print large posters with it. The quality is top notch just like your would expect from a $199 printer. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Great quality printer for work or school

Quick overview for those that like to know the good points overall. Unboxing was easy. Only comes with the power cord and ink. No USB cable for setup, and it's honestly not needed. If you have an old printer with the cable, it should work just fine. On screen instructions are easy to follow, though the screen is a bit small. If you have a long/complex WiFi password, it will take time to enter in all the characters. Just be sure to push the right arrow key after entering the last character. After getting it on the WiFi, it did prompt to update the firmware, which I let it do. Setting up computer drivers (custom built Windows 10 machine), it did take a few tires before the printer was added to the computer. Printing black and white documents come our really fast. Color documents take a bit more time, but still very quick. Overall, this is a great quality printer, whether you're using it for work, or to print your kids school papers. With two trays holding up to 500 pages, You won't have to worry about refilling paper as much. In-depth review (warning, this part has more words) The printer does not offer any scanning features, but that's compensated for the two print trays, which hold up to 205 sheets of paper, which is essentially 1 ream from the local store. It does have the ability to print from a mobile device. After putting my phone (Google Pixel) near the NFC icon (a box with a N in it (Phone will need to have NFC turned on for this to work)), It took me right to the Google Play store to download the Epson iPrint application. The mobile app will tell you the current ink levels, and allow you to print right from the app to the printer. Tested this feature with a color picture, I did notice that it took additionally time to print over using a computer. Some clipping did occur, but I did not pick the right paper size to begin with. Your mileage may vary, but I would suggest testing on standard paper first before using up photo paper. More advanced settings and features can be configured through the IP address of the printer, which is obtained by printing off the Network status sheet through Settings - > Network status -> Print status sheet. For me, this used 3 pages of paper single sided. I have a paper saving way below, in my more technical review. You will get a security warning about the page not being secure. Go ahead and proceed anyway. Google Cloud Print Services can be setup through the web settings. Once allowing access (assuming you are signed in to Chrome), it will print off a registration complete page. Technical advance review. (Just bullet points, geared more towards IT people, but should be simple enough for anyone) SSL Certs - I tried to change the SSL settings from 128 to 256, but was unable to connect to the web front to do more configuration. I had to download the EpsonNet Config Utility in order to change the settings back. This does require a Windows Firewall exception to use. Time Server - Using the EpsonNet Config Utility, I was able to setup a time server. You can configure this through the web front, but I did it through the utility after having to revert my SSL settings back to 128. It does require an IP address, so if you're like me using this at home, but don’t want to worry about the time, setting this up is easy.
