Versatile and surprisingly economical

This printer is incredibly versatile and surprisingly economical. Ink jet printers are notorious for chewing through expensive ink, but this printer did a great job and has gone through surprisingly little ink so far. I've put it through its paces on 3 projects: 1) a poster for my son's club at school, 2) a very fancy menu for a fund-raiser, and 3) a large, complex GANTT chart for a project from work. A couple dozen posters were able to run through in just a few minutes. Regular paper feeds from the front, as normal, but anything thicker (we printed a few onto heavier paper) is fed from the back of the printer. This seems to keep it flat all the way through, but requires keeping the back of the printer available and feeding one page at a time. The menus printed on a bright white, almost glossy paper, fed from the front and again, quick and perfect on the first try. The GANTT chart printed the slowest, but the detail was excellent, and it printed both sides of 11x17 with no bleed through and legible 8 point fonts.
Wireless set-up was very quick from the front panel. Driver installation in Windows took a few minutes. Office just needed to be given a different paper size and we were off and creating the poster. This is not a printer you'll want to share a desk with, it takes up almost 2 feet across and you need at least a foot behind it for access. Gets The Job Done Flawlessly

Upon opening the box and seeing the printer for the first time I was happy with what I saw. It is packaged nicely and secure along with everything you will need to get it up and running. I liked that the instructions is very short, and to the point with everything you need to know to get it set up. It only took about 2 minutes max to read over them and know exactly what I needed to do for the set up process. Setting it up was fairly easy, but when installing the cartilages your suppose to hear a click, but I didn't hear that when installing any of them. However they still installed as they should. The longest part of the set up was when the printer was charging the cartilages which takes about 6 minutes, but I didn't mind that.
My opinion of the printer is it is a great printer for the price. It prints very fast, and quietly. Connecting it to my Wi-Fi was very easy and fast. I love the ease of being able to print from my iPhone and iPad without having to install a app. Printing from my computer is a breeze as well. I have printed documents, coupons, and pictures and the quality has been great. I also like that with just a few different buttons you can have it set to how you need it. Printer for all your Wide Format Printing needs

If you are looking for a Wide Format printer without breaking the bank, I recommend looking no further. This product does everything it claims, all while keeping costs at a minimal. The printer was extremely easy to setup and use. Windows 10 was able to discover the printer without having to manually load any drivers. The screen is very simplistic, and only shows the printer settings on the home screen, however if you don't need a fancy LCD on the front, this is the printer for you! I was able to setup the trays without any hassle, the print cartridges installed with no struggle, and the rate of printing is fast and precise. I was able to setup the wifi during initial setup without much trouble. Within 30 minutes, I was printing pages with ease.
If you are looking for a Wide Format printer without breaking the bank, this printer is for you!!! As of late, I've been using and recommending more Epson printers to clients who run home/small businesses. With the quality and speed that this printer provides, this printer meets all the features that are boasted by Epson. Grab this up without a second thought. Sit back and know that all your Wide Format printing needs will be met. I must say that this has been the best printer I have owned so far. I was very impressed with the print quality, most especially with the vivid colors of the printed photos. I was able to print out large format prints in the comfort of my home with the same quality if not better than printing from FedEx and the likes.
What I like most about it is that it was very easy to set up, including registration to Epson and ink cartridges. It made me feel like a pro because the set up prompt was not overwhelming and is very user friendly. I have owned this printer for over a month now and I have not encounter any single issue. I like how responsive the wifi/bluetooth printing is, and the app on my phone has not failed or unresponsive like that of HP which I also have at home for comparision.
Overall, this is a highly recommendable printer if you are like me who prints a lot of colored and large format. You get professional print outs every time.

When I received my printer, I didn't expect that it to be so large. I was quite surprised. I had to find a larger table top to utilize to put it on. For the size, I expected complicated instructions on set up, but again I was pleasantly surprised. The set up was quick and simple, the longest amount of time was waiting the 6 minutes for the ink set up. I was dreading setting up the WiFi, but popping the disk into the drive, and that was setup in less than 5 minutes.
The first print was really nice. Was so excited that we had other options for larger printing such as 13x9, as I do family history and the census records can be printed out so it is legible. I was in one room finishing up some labels, hit print and heard the printer working its magic. I am so impressed with the print quality as it is crystal clear. We’ve performed coloring printing also and it is clear also. We are loving it. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wireless All-In-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I was really very shocked with this printer. I have always used Epson WorkForce printers in my home office but none as capable of this one! Huge sheet capacity with two trays to hold paper - can accommodate HUGE paper sizes for printing big signs and flyers - and as always, easy to use wireless connection to all my devices. Truthfully my favorite feature is the edge to edge printing - that has always bugged me, and kind of felt like the difference between my home office and professional printing. No more though! This printer is high quality, pretty speedy for the incredible printing it does, and the price isn’t much higher than what you’d spend orherwise. I also felt that the ink seems to last a little longer (which is what we all want, is it not?) overall I really have nothing to complain about. I noticed it seems like there’s a higher chance of a paperjam but what is that in comparison to a printer like this! Make sure you clear off a big space in your office for this guy - it’s well worth the space it takes up!

I’m very impressed with this printer. I was a bit skeptical at first based on the mixed reviews and was expecting to encounter a lot of problems, but from the detailed set-up instructions I found online, this printer can be set-up very easily. Make sure to download the latest release of software instead of using the supplied CD.
Setting it up and connecting it to wi-fi only takes about 10 minutes. The software installation probably takes another 10 minutes. Once everything sets up, it prints very fast both in black and color. Especially, if you are just printing mainly text. It can also print and scan oversize paper (which is one of the main reasons I need it). I would definitely recommend it if you need or want a printer/scanner combo.
Overall what I like is the size it can print (13X19), its ability to copy, print, scan and fax. The set up was extremely easy.

This printer was very easy to setup and connect. I did have an issue connecting to my secure network but in the end everything connected. I've been using other printers in the office and usually have to go out of my way to collect my prints. Now, I've got this setup in my office!
This printer is perfect for local print campaigns that I just need a few color copies and not hundreds. Hopefully, the ink will last awhile. I'm certainly impressed with the sturdiness and exceptional print quality. Well done Epson!

My first thought was that this printer is larger than I thought it would be but very stable and durable. The inside of the box is pretty simple just the printer, instructions, the cord was just laying on top when I opened the box along with the 4 toners just hanging out not secured in any way so they could have been tossing around inside. Overall, the packaging was nice instead of having so many things to dig thru to find all items included. Setup was less than 30 mins and instructions are very easy to maneuver thru. There is no USB cable included but I did not need this to check up once I connected the printer to WIFI I had my computer do a search and found it right away and connected with no issues.
The physical feature of the printer is being able to print 2 sided as my previous printer a Brother only did 1 sided. The physical feature that I miss and wish it had was the ability to scan documents not sure if I can still copy documents by inserting in the feeder but didnt find anything on this stating it could. It prints way faster than any printer that I have used in a long time. The touchscreen is very responsive and I have had no issues navigating thru the setup process or functions at the same time it isn’t very big but does the job just fine. There aren’t very many buttons on the actual printer so shouldn’t be to hard since functions can be done on the touch screen. When printing I don’t use color very often as it is expensive to replenish but what printer isn’t right. I love the how smooth my test items printed both in black/white and in color. Black/white documents print really fast and Color prints rather quickly also but takes a bit more time than the black/white documents. I do a lot of printing for work along with my volunteer commitments so this is going to be a great addition to getting things done. This printer does hold a lot of pages which is great my current one only holds about 100 sheets when this one holds about 500 combined as it has 2 Tray YES 2!! This is awesome to have when life gets so busy who has time to remember to fill them
I enjoy having a rear feed verse the front (on my old printer) it doesn’t get in the way, slide or fall off (like my old printer) and is easy to judge where my envelopes line up when printing need to print addresses versus writing each one out.
Unlike my old print this one gives me the option to print remotely I have not been able to use it out of the house range it says printer is not aviabale but I do love being able to print remotely in my home from my phone.
It does have the ability to print from a mobile device. I just had to turn on the NFC ability to allow this function. I went to the Google Play store and downloaded the Epson Print Enabler and Epson iPrint application. The Epson iprint mobile app will tell you the current ink levels, and allow you to print right from the app to the printer.
Overall, it's a great printer and minus not being able to scan would recommend this printer to anyone who doesn’t need that feature and would be perfect for business or home uses.

Very easy to set up and use. Every part of the setup from filling the tray with paper, to installing ink was a breeze. Connecting to wifi is simple. I would definitely recommend this if you're in need of a printer.
Documents as well as pictures print quickly and very accurately. Have had nothing but great results so far. Two sided printing also works great to save on paper. I honestly haven't found anything to complain about yet. If you're looking for a new printer I would highly recommend.

Great candidate for printing on large format pape

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
This is a review of Epson’s WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer, which can print on paper up to 13 x 19 inches. The printer is about twice the size of an average multifunction printer, which makes sense considering the large paper the machine can use. The unit has two paper trays, called “cassettes” as well as a single sheet paper feeder in the rear. All three paper locations can hold paper up to 13 x 19 inches. Both cassettes can be extended out the front to hold paper longer than about 12 inches. For the cassettes, you must define paper dimensions and type (e.g., normal, glossy, matte, etc.) per tray. Each cassette holds about 250 sheets of plain paper and the printer can auto-duplex when paper is fed from either of the cassettes. Auto-duplexing is not supported when paper is fed from the rear feeder. Despite its label as an All-in-One, the 7210 has no glass platen; so does not support copying, scanning, or faxing.
The printer’s box includes the printer, setup instructions, and a CD with drivers. Setup is straightforward, but I ran into a problem with the included driver. After manually adding the printer to my wireless network using the device’s LCD screen, I confirmed the unit was on the network. Then I attempted to install its driver from the included CD. The software found the printer on the network and then claimed it could not proceed because the printer could not be found. Huh? The solution is easy… go to Epson’s support site at epson.com/support, then download and install the latest driver. This issue is why I gave Product Quality 4 stars instead of 5. Another tip would be to download the User Guide from Epson’s support site – I refer to it often to learn nuances about the printer’s capabilities.
My overall impression of this printer is good. Print quality was excellent using the normal paper settings and operation was relatively quiet. The drive can auto detect best cassette / tray for normal use, but remember to specify you’ll be using the rear feed if that is the case. When printing photos, I observed that paper matters. Comparing the same photo printed on HP glossy paper verses same using Epson glossy paper, the latter is sharper with wider contrast and color range. The MF-7210 supports printing text in draft mode, in which the text is fairly light so that black text looks gray. Finally, AirPrint works flawlessly from iOS devices. In summary, I like this printer. Once set up; it prints well, quickly, and quietly. It appears to be targeted at small office / home office and would also work fine for a home environment as long as you can allocate the space. I wish it had a large format scanner and support for files on a USB stick, too, but you can’t have everything for such a reasonable price.

I got this printer and we set it up last week. It is amazing! The set up was easy, no problem. Instructions were very easy to understand too. I like the look of it and how fast it is. Very much worth the price if you do lots of printing.
My favorite parts are how easy it was to set up to the wireless-so simple, and that it holds a lot of paper so you aren't having to fill it all the time. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

This is a review of Epson’s WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer, capable of printing on paper up to 13 x 19 inches. The printer is considerably larger than an average multifunction printer, but still manageable in normal spaces. The unit has two paper trays, as well as a single sheet paper feeder in the rear. All 3 feed locations can hold paper up to 13 x 19 inches. Both trays can be extended out the front to hold longer paper. Double sides printing is capable from both trays as well. The printer DOES NOT support copying, scanning or faxing as the name suggests. The printer’s box includes the printer, setup instructions, and a CD with drivers. I found set up to be easy and quick. After manually adding the printer to my wireless network using the device’s LCD screen, I confirmed the unit was on the network. Then I test printed a document from my phone. The capability to wirelessly print from my phone is a huge plus for me, especially with larger print capabilities. This saves me unnecessary trips to the office to use the large format printer there. This printer does a great job on photos as well.
My overall impression of this printer is really good for the price. The print quality was excellent using the normal paper settings and the operation was quiet. In summary, I like the way this printer performs. Once set up, it prints well, quickly, and quietly. It is ideal for small businesses and home offices especially since it doesn’t have to be tethered to the computer. I have mine setup in an unused bedroom for convenience. The only thing I think that’s missing are scanner and copying capabilities and if you rely on your current printer for these options you will need to keep using it as well, otherwise this printer does a good job. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Really Good Printer That's Almost Great...

First Impressions: This is a very nice, solidly built printer. It is a lot bigger than the Canon printer that I already have. It feels like a luxury printer which is surprising based on just the price point. Ease of Setup: Upon opening the box and pulling out the printer, my first thought was "Tape Everywhere!!" I couldn't stop looking and double checking just to make sure that I got it all off. I understand there are alot of moving parts, so I can understand why there was so much. The setup instructions are well written and easy to understand making setup a breeze. I can only point out two negatives with the setup process: 1. The "CLICK" you are supposed to hear when installing ink cartridges was not very audible and I personally couldn't feel it as well, making it a little difficult to tell if the ink was installed correctly. 2. The Automatic WiFi Connect feature during setup did not work for me, so I had to connect the printer to my network manually, but I had no problems completing the setup after this very minor hiccup. Use: Both photos and documents print in very high quality and fairly quickly, especially documents. I printed both from my computer and from my phone using the Epson App with great results. I especially like how easily the app integrates into your phone or tablet. Good Job!!! Final Thoughts: This is a very good printer that would be great if it had just one missing feature, scanning capabilities. Still a very good printer that I would highly recommend without hesitation. Also, the ink is cheaper than the Canon ink that I had to buy before and is comparable to other brands of ink. The Epson WorkForce WF-7210 is an excellent printer for photo, advertisement, posters and other creative projects it offers quite a bit of functionality like dual side printing, borderless printing Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct plus Ethernet and even offer NFC for the ultimate connectivity options is very useful doing my experience i was able to connect my smartphone and laptop device quickly with no hassle. Printer setup from unboxing to actually using the printer for project took less than an half hour. I am a above average technology, but the printer is convenient enough for the average user as well. Epson provides very detailed instructions for operating and setting up printer for the first time.
Secondly, this Epson WorkForce WF-7210 including several additional features in the setting options to really customize your ideal printing style or needs; from altering the border dimensions and increase text and photo quality, speed and type of paper for the printing style such as even envelopes. The PrecisionCore printing technology is very impress printing results are stunning on inkjet premium gloss paper!. Which greatly enhances the visual presence, object and value of print assisting to create a truly vivid image that really pops! The printer is an excellent addition to my current printer. Also WorkForce WF-7210 has generous paper capacity of 500 pages. One of small improvement suggestions would be for the printer to come with a trial size of different types of paper as a convinces to consumers. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Pros: This printer is really easy to set up (10 mins or less). The image quality is great, and the ink cartridges have a high yield (~350 pages for a standard-capacity cartridge, and 1100 pages for a high capacity cartridge). The printer also offers a great bordlerless print feature, which can help you create print-shop quality flyers/pamphlets; and it can print a much wider format than most other printers. The Epson computer software also does a great job connecting your printer to your WiFi network, which saves you the hassle of having to enter in a long WiFi password on the printer manually.
Cons: There is really only one drawback to this printer. The display on it is quite small, and it can be a bit of a pain to navigate through the settings menu since it only displays one or two lines at a time. I also have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 that has a much larger, color touchscreen (although it doesn't offer borderless printing or wide format printing) . Since this printer is a bit more expensive, I would expect it to at least have a much larger color screen. Obviously, once you get the printer all set up this wouldn't be too much of an issue though.
Other things to note: This is a wide format printer, therefore it is quite wide. This may sound obvious, but be sure to measure your free desk space before purchasing it to ensure that it fits. The printer also doesn't come with a USB cord, which shouldn't be much of an issue unless you don't like to connect your printer to your network.

Great for every task as a graphic designer

Well first let me start by saying that this printer really surprised me from all angles. I would like to state that I am a graphic designer and having a printer that I can trust to produce quality prints is very important to me. THIS printer can do all of what I need and more, it feels like as I grow as an artist, I will grow into this printer and all of the functions and options it has available to me. The setup was as simple as any other small printer and, oh boy does it print fast. I was amazed at how it basically zoomed through the prints I had queued and the quality didn't suffer any. Some things that I would like to try in the future would be doing larger prints because I now have the option to print A3 size designs or posters in my own home. This is a huge plus for me and gives me more options and available space to work with when working in Photoshop/illustrator. The only think I really ran into while printing was a little loss of detail in a halftone design that (I think it was an issue on my side when designing) that caused the print to come out wrong. And one other really nice thing that already came set up with the printer is when you install all the software, it already comes with an email address so you can start sending documents to the printer through email immediately without setting that up! Received this printer as a bata test and set it up, so this will be broken up a little bit as to how I used it.
Setup, once it was out of the box and plugged in setup was easy follow the on screen and it takes care of its self. Installing the ink for it make sure that you read all the instructions including the back of the page it says not to remove the little plastic over the holes that the ink comes out of did not see that right away and removed one had ink all over my finger from one but once it was put in there was no problem. Installing on my system was quick and easy. Installed on to the print server that we have here also went ready easy with no issue for our tests.
Usage, now that it was setup did some test printing with it all in standard page size normal black prints fast and looks as good as our lasers that we already have in the building. Printing in color against the Xerox Phaser 6600N the color looks better and the lines that it printed were better defined. Over all it prints really well.
Ink usage, over the last few weeks I have printed lots of things that normally don’t bother with in color and not just to see how it would handle it. With maybe 100 or so prints we have used less then 25% of the color ink and less than 15% of the black so it seems to work really well on not waiting ink.

I received this printer via FedEx a few days ago. I'm not entirely sure if it was due to a packaging issue or a delivery issue, however the CD and instruction packet were laying outside of the box. Good thing they both showed up together! Other than that, there's not really much to unpacking this printer and getting it ready for installation. Most of the printers that I've used previously have been plug and play type printers. This one does not fall into that category.
As part of installation, one of the first things it tries to do is connect to your WiFi network. Although you can also set it up for hardwired, I didn't want to do that. To get the printer on the WiFi network , you'll either need to enter your WiFi SSID and password on a tiny LCD screen with no keyboard or temporarily connect the printer via USB to your computer. Luckily I found the correct type of USB cable at home because one is not supplied for you.
The printer will automatically try to set itself up on the same network as your computer. My computer was connected to a 5g WiFi network, and I got a pop up message saying that this type of network was not supported and may permanently disable the WiFi on the printer. After several attempts, I was able to back out of this and start over on a different WiFi network.
After the printer was successfully installed on the network, it automatically wanted to do a firmware update. This was a pleasant surprise, and it worked fine. After the update was completed, it offered a message to complete Epson Connect and Google Could setup. These are both neat features. Epson Connect lets you send print jobs direct to the printer via email, and Google Cloud lets you print from Chromebooks. Although this model printer is not currently listed as Google Cloud enabled, it is working appropriately.
As an aside, I work in IT. I've never had to spend so much time setting up a printer before. However, this Epson WorkForce printer truly is a workhorse! After having used the printer for a few days, I can say it does do a great job. Color prints are crisp and bright. Black printing is quick and flawless. If you are willing to put the effort into installing this printer, you'll be happy with the end results.
