Customers value the WorkForce WF-7210's excellent print quality and straightforward setup process. An excellent printer geared towards SOHO users.

Having used a multitude of printers ranging from inkjet, to laser. and even solid ink, I can say that this printer is definitely not geared towards the average home to be used for some light text and photo printing. The features far outweigh the cons however and I've been very pleased with this product.
Out of the box, the printer is large. It weighs almost 40 lbs. and the sizable dimensions can make it challenging to find a suitable location if space is tight. The printer comes with black, yellow, cyan, and magenta ink and the cartridges are small form factor, yet they pack a powerful punch.
This printer was my first foray into WiFi-enabled printing and the WF-7210 delivers. After adding the printer to my wireless network, printing from my iPhone was a breeze. I printed a full-color 8.5"x11" picture on glossy photo paper that featured a shot of Epcot at night with deep blacks, reds, and blues. The page came out crisp and vibrant using stock settings, and printed in just under 30 seconds. In the past. printing photos at home was very costly
due to the length of print time and ink consumption, but Epson's eco fnendly approach makes a great argument for changing that. I also experimented with text printing, which was equally impressive. Letters came out looking as if they came directly from the screen and the pages printed in roughly 10 seconds.
The Epson Connect setup was somewhat unclear as I found setup to be best accomplished from the printer, not a computer. Once it was hooked up, however, sending documents to the email address was a breeze and could be accomplished from anywhere. I printed, while 45 miles away from home, with ease.
Overall, I've used many Epson products in the past and I'll definitely continue to support their products for years to come. The WorkForce WF-7210, with irs multifunction use, huge paper capacity, double-sided printing and ability to print large sizes up to 13"x19" is an excellent value that would be a great addition to a home office or small office if price, features and quality are considered.

Affordable Large-Format printing for businesses

The Epson WF-7210 printer was a surprising device to be able to review. I was initially overwhelmed due to the sheer size of the device but I had to remember that this printer will handle paper from 4”x6” all the way to 13”x19” with full duplex (both sided) printing capabilities. Having an ability to insert two trays each loaded with different sized papers will be a boon to small/home based businesses where printing on more than one sized paper is needed.
I tested a number of features after unboxing and setting up the unit in a central location to the house. I had no difficulty adding it to the wifi network (only 2.4ghz network, no 5ghz) and after that, installing the driver on both PCs and Macs was trivial. It advertises itself as an AirPrint printer for iOS devices as well. Print quality for text and business documents is, like most Epson printers on the market, top-notch. Text was crisp and almost laser-printer quality. Photo printing was of sufficient quality for casual use, but since this isn’t designed for photo printing, I wasn’t expecting much.
Paper handling was smooth and quiet with the duplexer performing admirably. Having an oversized output tray helped with ensuring that prints on 11”x17” or larger paper didn’t end up in a heap on the floor at the base of the printer. Overall, I highly recommend this printer. Cost versus features reveals this to be a great bargain for businesses both large and small.

The Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format is marketed as a versatile wide format printer with print-shop-quality graphics and borderless prints up to 13" by 19". Please note that some websites have this listed as an all-in-one printer. THIS IS NOT AN ALL-IN-ONE. But is it a fully capable wide format printer.
Upon unboxing, the packaging seems to be sturdy. I'd prefer a right-angle power cord to go behind furniture, but the standard plug works fine. All in all, set up took about 45 minutes with a firmware update. The printer is delivered with starter cartridges, which although an industry-standard practice, is a practice I wish would go away. The specs on some websites do not clarify this, so don't expect to get a full life from the provided starter ink cartridges. On the positive side, the refills are easily available to buy. On the negative side, many reviewers of other Epson products have had issues with non-OEM cartridges. I've only used the provided cartridges.
The LAN and USB ports are on the side of the printer (left side when facing the printer), which is uncommon. That doesn't matter if you are operating it via wi-fi, but may be a visibility issue if you need to operate via cable. You can also download an app to print from your smartphone or tablet. More details on printing from your phone are available from the Epson FAQ section. I was able to scan and print from my Android phone fairly easily, and it took less than 5 minutes to set it up.
The printer comes with two cassette drawers for paper which each hold about 250 pages of 8.5" by 11" easily (meeting the stated 500 sheet capacity). Larger paper sizes require the cassette drawer to remain open. There is a rear feed for when you are printing the occasional envelope or odd-sized paper, but be aware that this feed can only take one sheet at a time. Print speed was more than adequate, and seemed faster that my HP all-in-one wide format. This also prints borderless, which means I don't need to rescale 11" by 17" (tabloid) CAD drawings to fit (thereby throwing off the scale). Print quality was excellent. Lines and hatch patterns were crisp on the drawings, and much better than my HP wide format. You will need to have the output tray extended to catch the prints, which can factor into where you place the printer. The output tray is angled up, which is beneficial for catching/holding prints.
I'm still not a fan of printing photos at home. So while this feature may be nice for some, I'll continue to ship prints to the local drug store/big-box store for printing. All in all, I think this printer makes a nice addition to a small/home office that has a need to print tabloid or slightly larger documents. While I have not done a cost-per-page analysis on my Canon color laser vs HP wide format all-in-one vs this Epson wide format printer, I can easily see this becoming my go-to printer just for the quality of the tabloid-sized drawings. The retail price of $199.99 is reasonable for the wide format functionality provided by this printer. Good Wide Format Printer

I am generally happy with this printer and the print results look great. I took away one star because of some issues with setup.
My first impression out of the box is that this thing is a beast! Make sure you check the dimensions and have a sturdy, sizable space for it. Also, keep in mind that if you plan to use the rear feed, you'll need space behind it as well. I know that a printer that prints 13 x 19 must be big, but I think the part that surprised me was its overall bulk. The tradeoff is that it has two paper trays, which is nice.
Setting it up, I followed the step by step printed instructions found in the box. They are very clear and to the point, however, the process did now work as described. The CD did not auto launch, so I was forced to decide whether to launch EPWizard or Setup. I chose EPWizard, which seemed to work. I opted for the wifi setup, so after I followed the steps, which was a glorified tutorial on my laptop on how to use the control pane on the printer, the software said it would make the network connection and closed the software window. After waiting patiently, it didn't do anything so I went back to the cd-rom and launched Setup, which then completed the install.
After connecting the printer to wifi, I was prompted with a firmware update. I appreciate that the firmware updates can be done on the control panel of the printer without having to download and use a USB drive.
Overall, the setup time was lengthy. Installing the ink cartridges alone includes a 6 minute "charging" period. From the time I opened the box to completion of my first print (a high quality photo print on 8.5 x 11) was probably 40 minutes. Maybe I'm slow, but it seems like it took a long time.
The print quality looked great and I was able to easily print from my iPhone (iOS 11) without installing any apps.

Solid and Dependable Business Printer

Unboxing and Setup:
Easy to unbox with split Styrofoam packing – no lifting a bulky shipping frame out with the printer inside. The simple 4-page setup guide (also provided in French) had clear instructions with no complicated fine-print. Convenient tear tabs on ink cartridge packing means no scissors or messes. Easy to load ink cartridges – top access door, no removing paper trays or lifting printer body. However, the printer requires about 6 minutes to ‘charge’ the ink… gotta wait before printing :-( Network setup was reasonable straightforward, but the small printer screen doesn't display much information. Not that important though, as once set up, you only look at the screen for status updates. My printer required a firmware update before using; took about 15 minutes for firmware download and configuration. Printer is unusable during that time.
Summary:
Plan about 30 total minutes for setup, ink charge, and updates. Use: Print time is short with a very fast paper feed mechanism. Two paper trays means I can keep regular 8 1/2" x 11" paper in one tray, and a specialty size in the other -- wide format printer can handle 11" x 17" which is a plus in my office. Manual paper feed is on top of the printer - MUCH better than printers with a horizontal slot. Print quality is very good for an inkjet printer. Printing is a bit low-resolution when using a low-quality recycled paper - the ink spreads a tiny bit. On 92 brightness/20-lb paper, the print quality is excellent. Very fast multi-page printing, faster than my previous all-in-one printers. This printer has no scanner deck, so don't plan to make copies with it.
Overall:
An excellent value with powerful business productivity.

I was surprised when I was chosen to review this product. I wasn't expecting it to be as large as it is (think 2 normal size inkjet printers), but with the amount of things it can do, I am very pleased. It can print borderless photos up to 13"x19", which I tested on regular paper and the quality was great. I haven't yet tried to print on photo paper.
Setup of the printer was a breeze, just a few steps and I was done. I had no problem adding it to my network. I love that there are 2 paper trays and that it is wireless. I've been printing from my iPhone 7 with no issues both single sided and duplex. Printing is fast quieter than other printers I have in my home.
I even convinced a friend to purchase one for her business. The cost of the printer vs the amount of features it has is really the selling point for me. As a small business owner, I wanted something that would be able to keep up with my printing needs. I found that in this printer.

Wow, this is a great heavy duty printer and has a very user friendly and easy setup process. The prints are professional quality and sharp. I was pleasantly surprised with the functionality of the device as far as page sizes as well as double sided printing. This has not had any issues since I received this and seems like its built to last.
I liked the 2 drawers for different size paper and the feeder on the back however the ink was very small cartridges. The prints estimated were only 330 for colors and black. While this may be good for occasional use in reality you will need to fork up more money to use this as a true work printer. While the cartridges are reasonably priced I felt like they could've included a bigger ink cartridge.
As far as the printer quality goes and the functionality Epson has really did great with this one and was very pleased with performances thus far. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

This is a great printer, this printer will be used in a classroom setting so the ability to print up to 11" by 17" is excellent. The printer was very easy to set up and very easy to connect to the wifi network to be able to print wirelessly from iPads and Chromebooks. I also liked how it has two trays for paper, so I can always have regular letter sized paper in one.
One thing that I wish this printer had compared to my other Epson printers is the tanks for ink instead of the ink cartridges. Although the ink cartridges are fairly cheap, it seems much more environmentally friendly to use the ink bottles.

Great Capacity. Nice features

When I received this printer 3 days ago I followed the instructions for the setup right away. My first observations was that it was a BIG printer and I would need to set it up in a different room from my home office. The setup process hit a bump when I had to re-seat the black ink 3 times in order for the printer to register the cartridge correctly. The next bump I ran across was when I setup the wifi and the controls were not that easy or fast to use to type in your wifi password (if you have a secure password it will take you a while to type it in). Also the printer does not see 5 GHz wifi, so I had to connect to my 2.4 Ghz connection. Setting up the application to use on android was very easy and I was able to print out some pictures from the device easily. The only issue I had was I had some "bleed" when I printed out in color.
The next issue I ran across was trying to print 11 X 17 photo paper, the trays show a 11 X 17 option but the paper does not fit in it, There is a DVD that comes with the device, but I wanted to do the setup without referring to it. I could not figure out how to load 11 X 17 paper in one of the two trays (which is a great feature with great capacity) So instead for my testing I tried to use the manual feed and it jammed every time!
For general office use it is a great printer with a high capacity, the photo prints from this printer are okay but are not great. This is not the printer for you if you mainly print photos. But for spreadsheets, presentations and general office printing it is a great printer. It works fast and does a good job.

Worst printer I have ever bought!

In the beginning, this was great. The quality; amazing. Then I found out why.. I was buying ink every 2-3 weeks! (About 175-185 copies per ink cartridge of black.) At first, I figured it was just the cartridges you get with the printer. They are usually less ink, but that is not the case. Now I am shopping, again, for a new printer. Do Not buy this product, or do, but buy a lot of ink!
