Great Multi-faceted Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit is very versatile and east to use. The setup was about 7 minutes from unboxing to printing. It is really nice to be able to print in different formats. I print a lot for work in different sizes so this is a really nice all in one printer for this purpose. The only bad thing that I would have to say about it is the little blue light. It is really bright and if it is in a dark room very noticeable. I was in the market for a multi format printer to do different jobs that I was working on. This happened to be one I cam across. Print quality was very good and fast. Very comparable to laser. Not quite as laser but the quality is just as good. I am looking forward to printing in different formats. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7710 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Great all in one printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson WorkForce WF-7710 All-in-One is an excellent printer. Print/scan quality is great, print speed is very fast. I love that this printer does it all - printing, scanning, faxing. I was surprised when I received the box, because this printer is huge! The instructions were very easy to follow, so setup was a breeze. So easy and quick! I love that it has a wireless printing. You don’t even need any kind of app to print it directly from your phone or tablet. I recommend this printer to anybody, because it is so easy to setup and use. Covers Everything I Needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After receiving the Epson WorkForce 7710, I used it to all if not most of its capabilities in order to put it to the test. I'll start by saying: it is massive (in comparison to my previous dinky printer). Some may see that as a bad thing, others may see it as having more power/capabilities. After finding space to place it in a not-so-spacious room, I began the setup portion. It was fairly easy to set up with directions in the pamphlet and on the just over 4" tilting touchscreen display. There was a little bit of a scavenger hunt when attempting to find and remove all the tape that keeps moving parts stationary upon shipping. As I'm sure many others may do, a lot of my setup process was done without looking at the instructions. Epson definitely makes setup user friendly (with some added capabilities for the techies in terms of networking and other options most others wouldn't pay attention to). A major selling point for me is the ability to connect and print from mobile devices. It allows me to look at the document I require on my email through my mobile device and print it out without ever having to boot up my computer. This alone ranks high on convenience in my opinion. Scanning and faxing work really well also, in the time I have had the printer so far. The one other problem I've had so far is with the ink. This may not be printer though, just the cartridges that were included. One test I had was printing a picture onto normal paper from my mobile device. Not a wide range of colors, but enough to test. Certain areas ran a little soggy compared to others (as to be expected when printing full images). The problem occurred shortly after when printing documents for work and discovering that after 1 document and 1 full picture, there were some faded lines in normal documents. Now, I don't print often since mostly everything is fax-to-email or scanned to my computer, so this doesn't bother me that much. But for someone who prints many pages very often, different ink may help. Though I'm no expert. All in all, I am pleased with this printer for my personal/ professional use. The couple problems I have may not affect some, but others may have bigger problems with it. If you have a table or part of the desk to place the printer, the size is no problem. If you don't need all the features of scanning and faxing, maybe stick to a smaller/cheaper model. But if you have the space for it and don't run through ink terribly quick, I definitely recommend this product, for personal and professional use. This Workforce is a Workhorse!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this printer last week and the first thing I noticed was the big box that it was packaged in and I realized that was for a good reason! Upon opening the box everything is well packaged and easily manageable. The printer is big and has some weight to it and once you get it out of the box you can see how well made this all-in-one is! I am very impressed with the quality of this all-in-one! After unpacking and installing the ink cartridges which I recommend getting the XL cartridges when it comes time replace the cartridges since the wide-format printing can use a lot of ink. Using the enclosed very east to follow directions, I connected the WF-7710 to my home network and it was a breeze using WPS to connect. It also has a Ethernet port if you want to connect directly to your home router. I then registered for Epson Connect Services which was quite painless and easy and now every device on my network from iPad to Android can print to the WF-7710. whether from home or away from home. .I am also able to print directly to the WF-7710 using NFC from my Samsung phone which is a very nice touch! and speaking of touch the 4.3" LCD touch screen is nice and vibrant and very easy to navigate. Now for the most important part of the WF-7710 which is printing. The WF-7710 has 2 paper options, it has a normal tray that holds 250 sheets of paper and a "rear feeder" for " specialty paper projects" I am in a household with multiple users and we are always having to print "projects" and the ability to print wide-format prints at 13" x 19" and the option to print 2 sided prints is a HUGE plus! Now as far as print quality, this Epson WF-7710 is great with vibrant accurate, true to life colors and quick printing speeds. Scanning on this WF-7710 is awesome! I love the automatic document feeder two sided scanning option and 'scanning to destination" menu is convenient with options to scan to a shared folder and "scan to email" are perfect. I haven't tried the "send to fax" option yet but I received a fax yesterday with no issues.. In general everything about this printer is great and I have no complaints so far! If you are looking for a all-in-one wide format printer loaded with features that handles up to 13" x 19" print projects and has the ability to scan up to 11" x 17" than I highly suggest you pick up the Epson WF-7710 you won't regret your decision! Great printer, but not the WF 3640
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the 7710 about 10 days ago, it does everything I need it to do, great for greeting cards, etc. The printer settings aren't as simple as the WF-3640 it replaced. The WF-7710 takes to many steps to set the printer up to do what you want it to do with different types of paper. The printer does a very good job of coping, printing on card stock, photo paper, plain paper, It's a great printer overall. No problem with dropping WiFi.

Great for Older User
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this printer near the end of December, 2017 and I set it up about a week later. The set up was easy to complete following the on-screen prompts. In addition, the help screens were very detailed and useful. I was apprehensive because I am an older user and not as tech-savy as many others. The whole process was made very easy and user friendly. Once I had the printer set up; I made copies of several different weights and qualities of paper. The printed quality was exceptional. I then also printed an image from an online site and was simply amazed at how realistic the image turned out. The colors were vibrant and there were no obvious flaws or lines in the image. I am more than pleased. I have since used the scan, email, and fax features. Everything has worked like a charm and I am looking forward to using this printer for some time to come. I need a machine that offers a variety of features and this printer really fits the bill! I am excited about the possibilities I have with this printer. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7710 Wireless All-In-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Versatile All in One
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WF-7710 Wide-Format Printer is a wonderful addition to my network. I was very impressed that the functions that this printer does at what I consider a compact size for what it does. Being able to print documents that are 13”x19” helps me stay away from print and copy stores and allows me to make them myself. The initial setup of the printer went very smoothly, I actually missed one of the protective tabs on the ink tray and it was able to point me to the exact location that was causing the problem including a picture of where the problem was. Another positive of this printer was the fact that I now have the ability to scan documents not only to a computer, but to my google drive account and my email account. The high capacity ink cartridges are helpful too as it allows me to print a lot of documents and not have to worry about running out of ink in the middle. Excellent printer ----- But read this comment
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Document printing on this printer was great but the photo printing was LOUSY. All my photos were washed out and pixelated which was a huge disappointment since my last Epson printer produced really nice photos. Then I read a review by another user who posted this: "NOTE: before doing any printing, do a print head check, and Print head alignment, I noticed an improvement in printouts after doing this step, Epsom should recommend this. " I didn't do this previously because all my documents printed perfectly, but when I saw this post I decided to give it a try. Sure enough, my photos came out great. Don't rely on the printer to automatically do this for you when you start the printer for the first time. Take the time to manually perform the print head check and print head alignment! I was about to return my printer to best buy, but this other guy's post fixed the problem! I've had the printer for 8 months now and it works great. Highly recommend it!

Constantly having to buy ink
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like all the features, but it is the worst printer I have ever had when it comes to ink. I am constantly having to buy ink. I will not receive an alert about ink needed until it is completely out; it is always at the most inconvenient time.

No Ink Cartridge Recycling
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was loyal to HP until I received no help with a duplex printing problem. I'm quite happy with the features and performance of my Epson printer for my busy home-based bookkeeping business. But I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that Epson makes you pay the postage to send ink cartridges to them for recycling. If I don't go back to HP, I'll be sure to check the recycling programs for my next printer.

Good printer but lots of paper feed issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm happy with this printer - when it prints on regular paper. I even use it to print photos and it does well (perhaps a little too blue). What I'm having a lot of trouble with is the paper feed. When I try to print from the rear cassette, about 75% of the time it prints from the main one. I've reset the Word printer option, Control Panel printer option, with and without paper in the rear, with and without the front cassette loaded, with and without paper in the front cassette. It works some of the time after I move the paper guides in the back. If printing on non-regular paper (labels, etc.) from the main tray, most of the time several pages feed through and the labels are spread out over several pages. Now I'm emptying the main cassette and loading only 1 label sheet at a time and it works fine.

Great All in one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great All in one My first thought upon receiving this printer is wow it's huge where will I put it. Upon unboxing it I found it very easy to to setup with only one cord to connect and easy on screen prompts to follow. I would prefer larger capacity ink cartridges as these are a bit small. The 250 paper tray is nice. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7710 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Paper Jams & No Ink Cartridge Recycling
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a faithful HP user until I got fed up with the inept customer support. I read about the wonderful features of the Epson WorkForce WF-7710 and with its reasonable price, I traded in my HP OfficeJet Pro 8720. That was March 2018. Just one month later, after repeated System Error messages that required turning the machine off and on, I contacted Epson. They sent me a replacement in a couple of days, and I was happy. Well, except that there's no way to conveniently recycle the used ink cartridges. At least not in Hawaii. I can deliver them to Office Max/Office Depot, but that isn't as convenient as using the postage-paid envelopes HP provides. The print quality isn't as good as the HP either. The HP's quality was very close to laser, but the Epson is quite obviously an inkjet. And, everything prints a shade lighter than they should be. I work from home for a property management company, and the Epson's print quality isn't up to par with the high-end luxury properties we manage. Our owners and tenants deserve more professional-looking documents. But, having just bought it, I didn't want to think about expending the time and energy to find another printer. It is now November 2018, and for the past several weeks, I've been battling paper jams more and more frequently. I use 20 lb, multipurpose, 92 bright, plain white paper that hadn't been a problem before. The jams occur mostly when feeding paper from the rear tray. But, when it jams from the paper cassette, it doesn't just jam 1 sheet of paper, it jams several. It's as if the machine thinks, "Well, that sheet didn't work, let's try this one. . maybe this one. . okay, this one. . let's try 2 or 3 at time." And, crinkles them badly so all they're good for is filling the recycle bin. So much wasted paper! I contacted Epson, but they just gave me instructions on how to clear jams and advised me to clean the rollers. I've become an expert on clearing jams, and cleaning the rollers had no effect. So, I'm upgrading to a Brother color laser all-in-one. I hope to write a rave review about it soon!

Inept in all facets
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Full disclosure, this review references the previous version of this printer, the Epson WF-7610, but all in all, same platform and features as the 7710. That said, this printer fails at any reasonable sense of utility. It will not print a web page when requested (it will cycle the paper through with the sounds of the printer head moving, but no ink at all on the paper (i.e. a blank page)). Furthermore, this will not scan and e-mail a document to a PC even though it is allegedly 'Wi-Fi' and 'All-In-One'. In that regard, Epson has multiple apps they want you to download to make the printer work, all of which seem to be doing the same thing, and so you will end up with apps plus Windows' own Printer Utility all trying to get you to interface with these GUIs simultaneously. This printer is a failure just like HP's All-In-Ones, and it is the first Epson we've purchased - while I ought not say 'never', Epson was our next choice now that HP violated our trust and money, but Epson has done the same. Please do not make the same mistake of trusting them as we have.

Very large piece of junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally bought 14 months ago. Needed a replacement due to ink problem in April. Now the 6 month old unit failed and won't turn on without a diagnostic error which stops everything. Customer service had me look all over for paper jams, then offered me 15% off a new printer or 40% off a refurb. You've got to be kidding. One year warranty only applies to original unit, they might have made an exception if we had the original receipt (they already have my info from the prior transaction). Process of getting a new one wasn't easy anyway. Will just cut our time and money loses here and go back to a smaller and simpler HP. Lesson learned.

So Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to replace Workforce 7620 because it was too big. Unfortunately, the 7710 has been going offline everyday for hours at a time, probably a majority of the day. I’ve searched online and none of the suggestions have worked. I’ve made sure all the updates have been taken care of. I will have to return it after a few weeks. What a waste.

2nd on in 4 months and has stopped working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer came highly recommended. I have had issues with it after about 15 prints. When the 1st one broke, it took 6 days for them to send a replacement AND I had to give a deposit after forking over a substantial amount for this Front-Running machine. Now, I will be backed up again with work, and without a functioning printer. Buyers be careful with this one.
