The installation was quick and easy – connected to my Mac wirelessly with no problem. It offers a lot of features that make error-free printing the norm. My only complaint would be the 252-I ink cartridges included with the unit – they didn't last long. Epson at one time packed full cartridges with their printers. Ah, the good old days.

It does a beautiful job when it actually puts ink to paper. But that is much harder than it should be. It sucks up so much ink no matter how low quality we try to make the pages. And maybe it’s just because we have Macs, but customizing the options is nearly impossible. In fact, I am completely unable to print B&W if any of the color cartridges are empty. The instructions explain how to do it, but it doesn’t work. Ever. All in all, not worth the hassle. I was in love with this during our first cartridges’ life span, but it’s been more trouble than it’s worth ever since.
