They were out of stock online in every place I checked. The only comparable printers were high end at 400 or 500 dol. lars. This was on sale for $219. I had an earlier model so I knew what it could do. While on my way to buy an inferior second choice I passed Best Buy and on a hunch I thought I would see if there was a floor model I could buy. I was told that they had none on site but if I ordered it I could pick it up in a week. Evidently they only had a limited supply and it could only be purchased from a store and not on line! I got a great printer at a terrific price and am one very happy customer!

It’s an excellent and efficient printer. The dual paper trays allow 2 sizes of paper and it prints full 11 X 17. Easy set-up and easy to use.

I was just looking for a basic printer with bulk scanning capability when I saw this beast. On sale. With a trade-in offer active. So I bought it.
I admit to being a bit terrified of it at first, as it's the size of a mini-fridge and has its own flip-up display. And probably its own ZIP code. But when I finally buckled down to getting it set up, the process was amazingly easy even though it's the first wi-fi connected device we have.
I think I'm in love.

I have had no problems printing. I haven’t figured out how to scan yet. I replaced an older workforce and what I like about this model is that I can leave the larger size paper installed that I typically use. On my older workforce I had to physically change the paper drawer everytime I switched to a larger size paper. I have had a Brother, HPs, and a Canon but I love the functionality of the Epson printer. It is the only printer brand I purchase. I just wish it wasn’t so heavy to move.

I’ve only used for about a month but it was pretty easy to set up, but definitely not using all its features yet! Easy set up from my Mac and Apple Phone and appreciate the ability to turn off color printing as my last Epson had this buried in the options so I used more ink than necessary sometimes. It’s fast to print b/w but a little drag on the color, however the output is probably worth a little more time. I loved my last Epson, it lasted about 8 years if not more, so I was sure what brand I wanted!!

Needed 11x17 scam and print capability. Only prints one 11x17 sheet at a time and each sheet has to be loaded in the rear feeder. Had I known that I may have gotten a more expensive printer that could do more sheets at once. But it was easy to setup and works well, print quality isn’t great but good enough for what I need. That all said, it was a great value for the price. Buy ink right away because it comes with very little in the cartridges.

I bought my WF-7720 because I had such a good experience with my Workforce 845 that I bought 6 years ago. The WF-7720 has a much improved user interface that's easy to use and intuitive. The print quality is excellent and the ability to handle paper larger than 8.5 x 11 is a valuable feature. The scanner works perfectly with the Epson Scan 2 software (included on CD). The scans are clear and the paper feed works flawlessly for multi-page scanning tasks.
The connectivity of the WF-7720 is outstanding. Getting the printer connected to my network was a cinch, and Epson provides Web-based software that allows you to print from anywhere you have an internet connection.
The only down side is that it seems to use ink quickly, especially black ink, but I haven't done any metrics yet so I'm not entirely sure about this point and I think this is a common drawback of many other ink-cartridge based printers as well.
All in all, I love the printer so far! I think it is a great value if you're looking for a solid, multi-function printer that can take pretty much whatever you can throw at it.

We needed a printer for some of the work we do that prints larger than letter size. This one does it. I have had a bit of trouble keeping the wireless function working. I have had to delete the printer and reinstall it 3 times. It's working now though. I like the fact that I can have 2 different sizes of paper in it. There is a place for another paper size but I haven't been able to figure out how to use it. A feature that would be nice would be if it had refillable tanks.

This all in one is exactly what I needed. I print a lot of 11 x 17 pages and also wanted the ability to scan. Price was reasonable compared to other printers, too!

It’s a big printer, think of it as a two drawer filing cabinet sitting sideways on your desk. I didn’t pay enough attention to size. It prints fairly quick and easy to setup. It can print larger sheets of paper than standard cheap printers. Quality of print is okay, I haven’t printed any pictures but it’s not made for HD quality pictures. I would buy something smaller for the type and frequency of printing I do.

I have been a loyal HP guy for a long time, but I didn't like their new designs. It also seemed like there are less features on the newer models. I saw this on sale and decided to give it a try. FYI - this is a big unit! There are 2 large paper drawer on the front, plus an additional paper slot on the back side. Everything works as expected and print quality seems very good, except on draft mode. Draft seems too light. I doubt I will use the wide format much, but it's nice to have. The ADF is duplex, as it the printer.
My complaints: the user manual is confusing and not much help. Some of the settings and software are not intuitive or user friendly. Once it is set up it works great, but setting this up to do exactly what you want is not for the faint of heart. I think it's because this printer is so feature rich, but it's still tough to complete the set up. Printing is also not as fast as my HP.
I have mine connected to 3 Macs and 1 PC and all communicate well. The software allows me to scan directly from the printer to specific folders on my Mac. This is a feature that HP used to have, but it hasn't worked properly in recent years. It's one of those convenience things. You can also create several profiles for scanning, PDF, JPG, 1 sided, 2 sided are what I did.
I haven't had it long enough to have tried everything, but so far I am happy with my purchase.

This printer works great. I had a competitors All In One that I liked until it started acting up. I really appreciate the ability to auto feed 11X17 documents, All others force you to use the scanner bed to do this. The ink is reasonably priced, the drivers install with no problems, its was a great buy for the price. I am very pleased. Its even built pretty solid. It does take up some space and is not light weight, it has the feel of a quality product.

Needed a printer that could print 11x14, this one actually goes up to 13x19- great buy! Wanted the (7710?) which only has one paper tray and is smaller, but needed the printer immediately and this one was in stock at local Best Buy. Very happy with this purchase and glad I got the double paper tray so I can have different types of paper in each tray. 500 sheet capacity is also really nice. With the high quality and numerous capabilities I feel I got a steal at $199- definitely worth more.

Easy to use with PC but not as user friendly with MAC. Having trouble getting it to print front & back; being able to print multi-page documents without having error message appearing saying the paper size is wrong. It is fixable and ways around it but not as handy as compared to PC. Quality is good!

I got this to scan in artworks and to make prints for sale at art shows. It is possible that I don't know how all the settings work, but my experience with this printer is different from other Epsons I have owned. Less complex Epsons, like the 440 and 770 series are pretty much plug and play, or almost. To get this one going, I had to exit out of my account on our desktop and get into the administrator account (my husband) and install it from there. Fine, but the application did not extend to my account or to any other account on the desktop. Which makes it difficult, because then I have to sign into my husband's administrator account to use it, and all the scanned art is in his account and not accessible from anywhere else.
Second issue is that it scans too brightly. It is terrible for black and white and documents. Color is better, but still brighter than the original.
It also has difficulty using thicker paper, like the kind used to make art prints. It often does not pick them up and says that the tray is out of paper. If you open the tray and close it again, it usually will work, but what a pain.
I might have stayed with my old Epson, but I needed a larger scan bed.
On the good side, it prints documents that are downloaded really fast and prints downloaded images well.
Not sure if I would recommend this. As before, it may be that I have not figured all the settings out, but I think it should be easier to use than it is.

Love this printer. Exceptional quality! Quick printing speeds, excellent picture quality, and I especially love the quick scanning and copying features! Highly efficient when I can scan something and have the product email it directly to myself or any other email address I choose. Awesome product! Not to mention the user interface of the touch pad is easily enough used that my children don't have any problems either.

The Epson WorkForce WF-7720 printer is a good all around product. It was easy to setup and performs better than the comparable HP unit I bought and had to return. It is not too noisy and produces clear prints.
Had problems setting up the auto ink purchases and have yet used up the ink provided with the unit. So will see how the service works.
