It has wide cassettes, so I can print 12 x 12 scrapbook paper! It interfaces with Alexa! It easily prints from mobile devices! However, the print quality is not as the old print, and the ink cartridges are way more expensive. But, hey, at least it prints twice as slow!!! I was so disappointed in this printer, that I returned it and started using my old printer again. I guess I'll just have to wait a year or two until Epson comes out with a newer wide cassette printer and see how it stacks up.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER IF YOU NEED TO PRINT ON A DAILY BASIS - OR JUST NEED TO PRINT IN BLACK/WHITE ONLY! Since I purchased this printer on 3/8/2020, I have purchased over ten sets of ink cartridges. Once the smaller color ink jets run dry this printer WILL NOT WORK! So, even if you DO NOT need to print in color, this printer will NOT allow you to print black/white only. Per Epson, all cartridges must have ink in them for this printer to operate at all. I cannot begin to tell you how frustrating this is being that I have to work from home now and need to print and mainly only in black/white, too! Best Buy, in the times we live in now, you may consider making sure this verbiage is noted on the printer's description. You can clearly see from my account information how many cartridges I've had to purchase just to do my job on a daily basis. I'd love to return this printer, but I'm not able to miss a single day without printing; plus, making retail returns to stores is either not allowed or quite a process, too. Thanks.

Certainly not a problem, unless the unit won’t accept the update. Two months after dealing with intermittent issues that wouldn’t allow me to print from either my MacBook or Microsoft Surface, I contacted Epson. After multiple transfers and one disconnect, i.e. hang-up, which no one bothered to call back as promised within 15 minutes if by chance we lost our connection, I was told it was a problem with my PC. Obviously, if I was having problems with both Apple & Microsoft products, the likelihood that my “PC” was the problem was nil. This is my second foray into the Epson’s print world and my last. If you enjoy headaches, this is the company for you. Otherwise, buyer beware.

Despite a lot of effort adjusting things I never got the print quality to be even close to acceptable. Even at the best quality and good paper it looked like a "fast-draft" print. It also constantly wanted me to go into the settings and update the firmware which I attempted several times but it never would complete the update. After several attempts it locked up and produced a scanner error that was not searchable online. I never got it to do anything except make noise after that. It would make a very excellent paper weight or "Office Space" reenactment.
