I was headed to store to buy the eco tank printer. I hesitated because of the price and how flimsy it was. It looked like it would break if I even sneezed near it. Walked around looking at other options and this was on sale...plus got $50 rebate for turning in my broken printer. VERY happy I went with this choice. I knocked it down a star (would have been 1/2 star but not possible) because it is so heavy and cumbersome...it is also pretty loud. But once in place...won't be lifting it again I hope....and I can put up with the noise for what I paid for it on sale plus rebate. Very happy with my purchase!

Excellent Printer. Easy to use. It's a must have. Holds a lot of paper. The thing I love the most about this printer is that you can print from where ever you're at. Highly recommend this Espon All in One Printer.

The printer is really big but it works well, printer quality is good and dual scan works well. I can easily scan to my 2 home machines at home. I want to give it 5 stars but it is too big :)

This is a great printer for someone who is working from home it has the ability to scan and then email items as well as receive documents via email. Ink has a fair life of about 300 pages in black-and-white how ever the XL is at over 1,000 now. There is an app for your phone to make setting it up easier. However the features that I like most such as the ability to send and receive email are complex to set up and have very little online support. If you’re not some what tech savvy I would not recommend this printer. Other than the available support this is a great printer that holds over 1000 pieces of paper. It is a widebody printer but I have not had an opportunity to test that feature yet.

Great printer, most expensive ink in the world

For a printer designed for office use and bulk printing, it’s great! It prints and scans documents insanely fast. However, printing higher quality photos, documents, or labels can be a huge challenge, and since it has so many settings you have to play around with the settings on the computer as well as the printer to get them to print how you’d like. Since I frequently print food product labels on this printer, it consumes a crazy amount of ink, which turns out to be super costly for me. One XL ink cartridge will be anywhere from $50-$60. Otherwise, it’s a great product, and I’ll most likely keep it a long time.

Ok, on my 2nd Epson now. First one was a cheap home sized one bought 10 years ago that printed super fast. Now, with the workhorse in it's name, this is no little machine. It's substantial. It's not super fast either. But it does scan and print 2-sided. This was important to me. I needed these features for home office during COVID-19. When it prints, it does rock the table, so make sure it has a sturdy piece of furniture under it. It's nice being able to print from phones, laptops, and kindles too. You can connect it to your home WIFI, or do a direct connect print.

I do really like the printer itself, it works great and allows me to put up to 11 inches wide and as long as I wish. The problem I have with it is that the ink cartridges are way smaller than my old WF-5690 ones were. They are actually really tiny and the XL Black is the only that may rival my old cartridges. It is a rather huge printer! There are two feeder drawers for paper. This works well for me to use standard, or card stock, with out changing paper. The rear feed kinda sucks, in that it is a single sheet feed unlike my old Epson that accepted multiple pages in the rear feeder.

Why aren't there more printers this size

My husband and I are artists. We NEED large scanning beds and being able to print at LEAST 11x17. There are so few options! It's really frustrating. And standalone scanners are ridiculously priced for anyone who doesn't already have enough money that they could just get someone else to do this stuff for them. This checks off both boxes in one. I've owned the previous two models as well. They don't last forever, but they don't break the bank and being able to both scan and print 11x17 (and print larger too) is really what we need. Would love to see more competition but that's just a dream, alas. Also don't let it fool you that it promotes itself as being for stuffy businesses, it works just fine if you're an unstuffy artist too.

This is a very large printer, but if you have room for it, it is a great choice. I like the different ways to connect (WIFI, LAN, USB), duplex capability, fast and quiet. I am very pleased with this Epson device.

I bought this to replace my 9 year old Epson Workforce 845, which has been a GREAT machine and still works. This one is about the same size (large), but works better in every way. It prints superb color pics and fast, the fax works great after setup, and the scanner is better than the old one. Being able to print a pic right from the printer is a plus, and the ink lasts for a long time. I expect to get the same long life out of this new unit as the old one (which went into my home office). Cartridges are not too expensive and the machine is very easy to use. I recommend the Epson printers to everyone, and especially this 7720. For a few dollars more, you have a printer that does EVERYTHING, and does it well. Great job!
