Difficulty Printing All the Time - Ink Runs Quick

I have had nothing but problems with the paper loading or not recognizing the different paper in each tray. Ink runs out and stops printing in the middle of a sheet and you have to re-print the entire page over. Problems connecting to my computer repeatedly. Says I have 1/2 ink in all cartridges, but it's not printing anything on the paper. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Great until you run out of ink

Even when you select black and white only, it will not print until you replace the cartridges. Even then the cartridges themselves are incredibly expensive. Its almost cheaper to buy a whole new printer

Posted .Dear jwindbigler, Epson printers contain a permanent print head that needs to be charged with all colors to work. Even when you are printing black text only, a small amount of color ink is used to keep the print head charged, preventing air bubbles from entering. Air bubbles can damage the print head. Garbage

Thought it was fluke so I bought my own for my home printing because of the good price. Do not be fooled! Only 3 months later the printhead is failing. I got the failure message once but luckily it disappeared. Now all my prints have lines through them. I cleaned the nozzles and printed like 10 times and aligned everything and still bad prints. It is as if I had this printer for 5 years already. I sure hope Best Buy will help with this defective item. I think I am more inclined to get a Brother or an HP next time.

Great printer for small office

Would print properly from the start

Support was cooperative and told me what to do to no avail--I was too busy to call and missed the 15-day return window with BESTBUY & called 21 days after I got it. Bestbuy would not replace it and 7 days after I called, I'm still waiting for the new printer EPSON is shipping me. Now it won't scan to my computer. At least it is still printing black but this shouldn't happen! Very disappointed!

Not a great printer for sublimation ink

It prints way too much ink for vinyl HTV and Epson has no presets for vinyl or sublimation printing and therefore they offer no support at all.

poor quality

Often shows non existent paper jam and/or misaligned paper as it is drawn into machine. 2. Did not see how to select paper tray on printer screen, using different paper in trays makes this a problem. 3. When scanning the printer screen said it did not recognize the computer. Epson website states that the printer works with XP. Guess not. 4. Loved my old Workforce 845 and still use it on occasion. The WF-7720 isn't even in the same league.

Could not get printer to work

Inserted ink cartridges only to have error code 034503 come up and ask me to power off and try again. After multiple attempts to do this i called epson support. Was walked through some basic trouble shooting to no avail and was told that they would replace the printer or i could take it back to best buy and have it exchanged. Either way it is a major inconvenience and a pain in my rear to lug this beast of a printer around. So far i am not impressed or a fan of this printer. I will update review if next printer i receive actually works

Waste of money, time, and ink

I read the glowing reviews here prior to purchase, and was pleased for about a month and a half of ownership. That's when the feeder on the scanner began causing jams with each use, necessitating manual scanning. Since then, the printer jams about 20% of the time on simple one-sided document prints. This past week, after replacing the black ink cartridge, it prints with only the faintest hint of ink in all colors. I assume the print head has given up after less than a year, and I'm joining suit. Time to look for a new machine.

Defective print

Have written to Epson 2 times with no response to the issue. Not my first Epsom printer but it is my last.

Something weird about this printer

Got the printer home, hooked it up and printed but got lines in my prints. Had to go out of town so I didn’t have time to play with it. Came back the following week from out of town, tried to print again with same issue. So I ended up calling Best Buy back to try and replace the printer and was told that it was only a 14 day return or exchange policy. It was Day 15. Called epson who then said they would send me ink as this sounds like the issue. Ink never showed up so now I’m just stuck with a nice looking non working expensive printer.

Called Epson spent two hours with tech support and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They sent me a second unit to try and that was the same, crappy! Very disappointed.

Great printer for a great value

The guided setup was super easy, and it didn't take long at all. It is a bit heavy though, and I could barely lift it. I connected my phone to my primer immediately and later connected my laptop. I am impressed with the capability of this printer. I do not like the plastic covers that are on the paper trays. They are slightly annoying with how easily they come off instead of just flipping back. So far, I have printed multiple lengthy documents without issue. As that was a problem with my old printer, I am happy that this one is able to print 50-100 pages relatively fast and without error. It is also quite efficient at scanning, and images are clear. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a workforce printer that is reasonably priced. The value is great! This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 All-In-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review

Worst Printer ever

Prints crooked, have to do print head cleaning at least once a week. One of the reasons that I purchased this is because it had a second drawer for legal paper but the paper does not fit and NEVER prints correctly. it also Goes through ink like crazy.
