Top of the line for office
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think that this printer is one of the best that I have ever used. The speed and quality of the prints are excellent. I like the color saturation of the prints and the sharpness that they have. This is a great printer for an office or home office it prints extra wide pages and also scans larger pages. It has a place to load pages in the back to scan. It also is very easy to print from a phone or tablet with the Epson app. Everyone at the office really enjoys this printer, it's a great option for an office printer. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Great Wide-Format Business Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is an indispensable tool for my home business. It is easy to use, easy to set-up, and it can print great quality prints of my images, greeting cards and stickers. The prints came out professional looking and crisp (colored and B &W prints). This business printing machine does it all, from print, copy, scan and even fax. It can also print directly from mobile devices, thus allowing for multiple inputs from different locations. I highly recommend it. This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Easy to set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My use of the Epson Workforce WF7720 has been an overall positive experience. It feels solidly built. The drawers feel heavy duty, the pull out tray to catch the papers is strong, and all moveable pieces feel smooth during use. You are able to lift the screen/number panel as needed. I mention this because it was my one pet peeve about our other printer; I am now able to put it down after use, so our children are not running into a sticking out static part. The screen where you input your information is clear and, across the top, now has the presumed most used settings....which means if you want to toggle the sound on/off, connect to your router, or check your ink levels, etc. you no longer have to go into your settings tab. The copies, scans, and printed materials are crisp and sharp (even in black and white). You are also able to truly wirelessly connect; no more USB cord! The negative experiences I have with the WF7720 are that this thing looks like a behemoth compared to our old WF3540. It is approx 22in. (55.88cm) in width, and 16in. (40.64cm) tall including the scan tray. It takes up a lot of visual and physical space even though it is only 5in. (12.7cm) wider, and 2in. (5.08cm) taller; it is meant for wide-format business printing, and it shows. My other issue is the speed with which things are printed. I compared it to our old printer, and it consistently printed approximately five to ten seconds slower. We had both printers hooked up and tested the same pages/documents for comparison. I know those are pretty insignificant times to an adult, to a five and seven year old waiting for their printouts so they can color, it is an eternity. At this time I cannot attest to the amount of ink we are going through, but when I have a general idea I will return to update my review. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF7720 Wide Format All-In-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review...that said, I would purchase this with my own money.

Great Printer for Home or Office
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is obviously geared more toward business users, but is also great for a family with two kids who are constantly needing to print and scan various things for school. The auto duplexing for both printing and scanning worked flawlessly and I experienced zero jams while doing either one. The quality of printed text and graphics were clear and crisp. I was also pleased that I didn’t have to go through the hassle of figuring out which lines appeared to be completely vertical for the print head alignment process. I would recommend this printer to others, but would also caution them about making sure they have room for it. The printer came nicely packaged. Moving parts that could have been damaged during shipping were secured very well and the tape was easy to find and remove. Initial setup of the printer was straight forward and painless. A firmware update was necessary out of the box and the printer handled that without a lot of user intervention after giving the go ahead for the update. I went the WiFi route for connection to my home network and have had no drops in connectivity (an unusual phenomenon in my experience). I did a test print using the NFC functionality from my phone and it worked as advertised. I don’t imagine I’ll use the NFC functionality very often, but it does work as expected. All the controls and indications were easy to access and figure out without the need to go search through the User's Guide. The control panel is laid out well, very responsive and easy to use. The printer’s dedicated email address and Google Cloud Print are highly useful when you need to print something and are not on the same network as the printer. Robust Feature full printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Robust Feature full printer I am upgrading from a WF-3640 so this printer is pretty similar but with a few key upgrades. First off the large touch screen allows easy configuration. For the initial set-up I used the web interface which made it really easy to configure any of the settings from my computer, but as I made a couple adjustments on the fly the large touch screen really helped out. The ability to print wide format is not something I used everyday, but does give me a lot more flexibility in my home office, which I'm sure will save me a few trips to fed ex office in the future. The print quality remains about the same as it was on my previous WF-3640, but that is great because that is bright colored pages and clear quick black and white pages. I am still impressed when printing a quality photo how well this printer is able to do it. Another key feature that carried over from my old WF-3640 is the dual printer trays which makes it really easy to keep a large tray full of standard 8.5x11 pages while keeping the secondary loaded with legal size paper. No switching back and forth with stacks of paper for me! This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Best Printer I have ever owned!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not a small investment but not that big either. A large Xerox cost multiple times more and the print quality is far superior to the Epson printer. It hooks up to our LAN or Wi-Fi and I connected all my kids and wife’s computers with easy as well as our phones. It gets a lot of use with school, work and my wife love printing pictures now with the larger format, and to my surprise, the ink is only 1/2 gone. You'll find that refilling the ink is not messy or difficult at all. They really nailed this, and it is very easy with prefilled cartridges. Also, the cost of ink for this is far less than most. We fill up both paper trays with standard 8.5" x 11" printer paper as that's mainly what we use it for, and it truly hasn't skipped a beat. If you need a workhorse office printer for quite a bit of volume, this is just so much better than the equally priced laser printer solutions. Scanning works well, too. Setup was easy, filling inks is easy, and it prints very fast perfect quality, and we couldn't be happier. And another bonus, the Epson ink refills are totally reasonably priced (if not flat-out cheap). No need to deal with the risk of off brand. The larger format of the printer is perfect for artwork, and photo and the quality truly is great if not better than having a print shop print it out. The fact I can scan a 19 x 13 image and edit or copy it is awesome. I never thought about having a wide format printer however now I own one I will never purchase a normal printer again. Epson has done it again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was given the opportunity to test out this printer and I have been completely impressed with it right out of the box. The packaging is very concise and details everything you need to know about this printer before you even begin. The bold styling lets you know that this printer is going to be your home or office companion for a long time. I have purchased many printers in the past and know what name brands to trust and rely on, so I was not expecting anything less than an absolute quality product from Epson. Unboxing and setup was even an enjoyable experience! Ink cartridge installation was a breeze and the fact that I can print directly from my smartphone, via built-in WiFi, instantly had my attention. The instructions and manual were very clear and not filled with useless information or hard to follow guidelines. I can say nothing but great things about this printer and about the amazing detail in the images it produces. The Wide-Format feature allows you to create poster sized images, not only for personal use, but for all of your business needs as well! Although I was presented with the instance to test this printer, I assure you my opinion is not biased in any shape or form. This is hands down THE best printer on the market. Overall, my experience with the printer has been nothing short of dazzling and I am sure that anyone who buys this printer will experience similar results and will be glad they made the purchase. great value for semi-professional needs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the same printer for years. Recently I have started using a silhouette cameo which needs very precise printing on multiple types of materials as well as needing to print demos prior to committing to large print jobs. I have found the Epson WF-7720 to be excellent for my needs. The colors are deep and rich. The image quality is excellent at even extremely fine details. This has saved me several trips to the printers and we are now using it to print our photos instead of sending those out. I did experience that glossy materials resulted in some streaking but otherwise the images were perfectly presented. I was frustrated that there was no documentation or reference to this streaking or what I could do to reduce the effect. The wi-fi was a little difficult to set up, but I eventually unplugged the printer and plugged it back in and it worked great after that. I thought the wi-fi direct (connects directly to your smart-phone) would be more useful but some websites on the phones don't function at all when you are on the printer's wi-fi. So, a cool feature for printing photos from your phone but we could not, for instance, print boarding passes. As far as copying goes, it is simple enough my 5 year old was able to do it after one example. Beyond Expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really appreciate this printer, extremely quiet while printing from our previous Epson XP 420 owned. We also loved the Epson brand and stuck with it over the years. This printer checks off all expectations as soon as this massive box arrived. WiFi Connection is more user friendly than the 420 we have used, it was seemless. On to the printing than it being the most quiet out of the Epsons' we owned. Resolutions are at high quality colors even on photo printing which we decided to test out. The best part of it, it prints oversize items as well with a breeze (same with copying). Connectivity wise for the WiFi is amazing none the less. We had it connected next to our router, then moved it to downstairs and showed no difficulty in range connection without going outside of the limits. Overall, it's an amazing product for an in home office or work center. Just as soon as it's opened, unboxing is simple and clean. The quick guide comes with the manual and CD for the drivers and getting started (our desktop did not have a CD drive so it was easy to obtain the drivers from the Epson Website). Once everything was up and running, we marveled at its size (from the XP 420) but fits the capabilities we will soon to discover. We nicknamed it "The Beast". Love this printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Epson workforce 7720 printer. It has chanced my life in so many way;I have never had a printer that is an all in one before, and its amazing. I Like how fast I can print my papers off and that its a doubled side printer. I like the overall design and layout, not to mention, I can print papers from my phone. The wireless printing part has to be one of my favorite features because I am always on the go and its easier to have things sent to my phone. Then all I have to do is print and go!! If you are thinking about buying a printer this is the one for you! I promise you, you will not be disappointed. There is so many great features to this product. You can tell the company put plenty of effort into this printer to make it more efficient for all your types of needs. I guess if I have to have a negative is that the ink is very expensive, but then again most all ink is expensive. This is a review for the Epson workforce WF-7720 Wide Format All-In-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

A Workhorse of a Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this printer. It is a true workhorse of a printer that has been perfect for my home office. The touchscreen display is a nice feature and is needed with all the different settings that this printer is capable of, but I also liked that they kept the simple number pad and a few quick operation buttons, so that I didn't have to dig through the settings for most of my everyday printing and copying. Set up was simple and automatic and I have been able to print from all my devices (Mobile and PC) wirelessly with ease. The NFC was a nice touch and actually comes in handy when friends or family want to do a quick print and not have to go through a whole set up. The print quality has been good. My only issue is that some of the high-resolution color pictures don’t quite get the sharpness right. Black and white pictures and text come out great and in high detail but some of the larger full-color prints seem a bit dull but still quite usable. The speed has been great I can run off 100 copies in just about 10 minutes, which is very nice for a home printer. I would recommend this printer. It is a very nice one. Wide Format is Great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WF-7720 Wide Format is perfect for businesses or students that do a lot of printing, and more for those that do printing of varying sizes. The multiple paper trays make it easy to change sizes. Scanning deck is huge and printing large flyers is a snap. I wish this one was part of the Eco-Tank line, as I am concerned with the smaller sized ink carts being too small. Setup was simple, just following the setup handout that came with the system. It is rather large, so you will need to have a sturdy table to hold the unit. Scanning was fast, and crystal clear, saving multiple page scans to a single pdf file was a life saver. The ability to email a document to printer from anywhere to come home and have it printed and waiting for you is probably my favorite feature. Huge, but worth it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So ... this printer is huge! The size alone could deter you from purchase, but don't let that be your deciding factor on purchasing. Once you get over the size, there's a lot to love. For starters it does everything you'd expect, scan, print, copy, but again, it can do all of the above at enormous sizes while still handling letter sized tasks with ease. It supports two sided printing and scans, and it has huge trays for both input and output, 35 page feeder for scans and 500 page paper tray. Yes you can fit an entire ream of paper in this thing. Being an Epson, it does pretty darn good photo printing, even edge to edge prints at poster sizes, but is more gear toward small offices and crafters. In the context of small office use, it's crazy fast, doesn't need to warmup, and uses pigment inks. It's easy to add to a network, does quite a bit without a PC using the small but effective screen, and supports various phones and tablets. It works wonderfully well with heat press prints, and transparencies as well. Gets the Job Done!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One printer is a beast. It is big, sturdy, and capable of handling your job at home or in the office. The two-tray printer gets the job done with multiple paper size application. No more hand feeding long paper into the printer (although this can be done). The bottom of the tray has more than enough room to place another size sheet. The printer is sturdy without rocking a desk. The op feed works brilliantly and easily. Set up was a breeze; even my kids can do it. My daughter quickly learned how to make copies of her artwork in less than 20 seconds. The dashboard is touch screen and easy to navigate. Overall, I believe this printer is a winner. The quality of the ink is great and it has a clear indication when the ink is running low. I print many colored materials and the ink is not even close to half-way gone. Its truly capable of handling my jobs and my small business jobs. Outstanding Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Epson WF-7720 has been outstanding. First, I will say that the staff at our local Best Buy were very knowledgeable, patient and helpful in assisting me with my questions pertaining to a few models I was considering. For background, I had owned an Epson many years ago, but was currently an HP AIO owner. Despite the few HP quirks, it lasted us almost 9 years but suddenly gave up the ghost. A proper burial was offered by Epson in providing a $50 Recycle Incentive toward the purchase of the WF-7720! It was already $100 off the regular price of $299, so that made it $149! And, needing to dispose of the HP body, the fact that the WF-7720 had double the paper capacity and a super-large scan area compared to its competitor – the HP-8720, my decision became clear as to the best value of cost and capability. May the HP RIP. From unboxing to setup to final page printout, this machine is a pure breeze. Follow the directions and you won’t go wrong. Additionally, my wife and I needed the capability to print from our phones, and the Epson iPrint Apps (mentioned in the packaged documentation; the WF-7720 Support page at Epson.com and the Google App Play Store). This product and its supporting Apps were super easy to set up and operate on all our platforms, including our Samsung Galaxy phones. Ink cartridges are no more/less than other comparative models, and the print performance of this machine is crisp and clean. I am very happy with it. The software interface for the Printer Settings is found by right-clicking the icon (in Taskbar for Win 10 Home). Support from the Epson website covers all that’s needed for the printer. I will say that I wish there was the Diagnostic Software tool that HP had with my previous printer, but it appears everything that’s needed can be found through the Icon Settings and Epson Online. I have tested each feature (including the Phone Apps) of this product and they perform flawlessly. Prints are superb and completed in the time expected. We are very satisfied with this product! This is an outstanding printer for our Home/Office needs.

Great printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very lucky to receive the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 for free as a beta tester and have had the opportunity to test it for about four weeks now. Overall, it has been a great experience using this printer. The first thing you'll need to know about it is that it is HUGE. The dimensions are 22.3 x 17.8 x 16.5 inches, so you'll definitely want to plan on having a small table or a significant desk surface to place this on. You'll also need to have two people to help lift the printer out of the box as shown when you first open it; the handles on the sides make it very easy to lift out, though. The manufacturers placed the directions right as you open the box so they are really easy to find; it comes with a quick reference sheet, a smaller packet of directions, and a CD with the printer software (also available on the Epson website for easy download - the quick reference sheet lists the exact web address to make it easy to find online). I liked that the ink arrived vacuum-packed for freshness/stability, and was also very easy to find upon opening the printer box. The directions were very well-written and easy to follow. I was able to get the printer set up very quickly using the quick reference sheet, and I am not a very printer-savvy person, so I think anyone could do it. (For best results, be sure to read all of the instructions in each green numbered section before beginning that section.) I liked that there was only one wire to attach! The appearance this machine is beautiful, black, and very streamlined. The touch screen is beautiful and allows you to select date and time formatting preferences, a nice little perk! It also comes with two easy-to-use cassettes for loading paper. The cassettes have sliders/guide rules and marks on them which make it very easy to load any type of paper you want. The printer can print on any type of paper (even a ream of cheap copy paper like the one I had on hand), but I would say that you'll probably get the best quality on Epson Bright White paper. The test print page had a tiny smear/blur at the bottom, but this basically resolved when I printed the second page, and I did not see this again on any other files I printed. I think if I had used the Epson Bright White paper I might have gotten the best quality from the get-go. I did purchase Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy to print some photos from the printer; the pictures came out beautifully, even sharper than what I could see on my laptop screen! Ink and paper are reasonably priced; I like how Epson gives you the option of buying the basic ink (standard black) for $19.99 and color 3-pack for $36.19 if you are strapped for cash, but you can also purchase the same products in high capacity and even extra-high capacity if you want to invest a little more money. This is advertised as a Wide-Format Business Printing machine, but I really like how little touches like that make it more accessible for an average family to use. Another great thing about this printer is that it prints very quickly, and the output tray catches the printed paper very nicely without getting stuck or in the way of the cassettes. I also love how the printer displays the name and source of the file on the touch screen when printing; this makes it so much easier to know whether the correct file is being printed. It is also Energy Star certified and overall just a really well-thought-out and designed machine. Although the printer was easy to set up and the software was very easy to download, I had a little bit of trouble getting my computer and printer to connect over WiFi. After the WiFi AutoConnect failed, a screen appeared on my computer with a series of troubleshooting steps for me to take on the touch screen of the printer; I really like this feature, as often software programs do not offer specific guidance as to exact steps to take in case of failure; however, the steps recommended did not lead to my computer and printer being able to connect over WiFi. Instead of the steps currently provided, I would include the steps users would need to take to help their printer locate their home network connection by pressing Settings -> General -> Network Settings -> WiFi Setup -> Router -> Network on the touch screen, and then selecting their home wireless network from the list displayed on the touch screen and entering their network password to allow the printer to connect to the network. After completing this step, my computer was able to find and connect to the printer. Overall, I would recommend this printer for small business or family use, especially if you plan on printing photographs from home. The high capacity of the printer would make it a great choice for a small business, but the way Epson breaks down the cost of paper and cartridges, it could work for a family, as well, especially if you have the opportunity to buy it at a discount. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Excellent Printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first thing I have to note is this printer is fairly large. That being said, Epson most definitely checked all the boxes when they packaged this beast. I'm pretty sure I spent a full 20 minutes double-checking to make sure that I had removed every securing tape on all of the components. The contents of the box held the printer, and a package that included the installation disk, instructions, and a power cord. As I was looking over all the features, prior to even plugging in the power cord, I noticed that it does have ports for usb, ethernet, and fax line plug. I was slightly disappointed that it did not come with its own dedicated usb cord, but that isn't a deal breaker as I have several around the house that I could use. After plugging in the power cord and turning on the printer, I was in awe of the large touchscreen! You can either leave the touch screen down, or you can pull it up so when you stand over it, you can see it clearly without having to bend over. A fact that my back surely appreciates! The menu is very user-friendly, it really was a breeze to connect to my home wifi. It also has a pretty good range, considering that my router is located on the furthest wall of another room, and it shows full bars. It also has sounds that can easily be turned off if you're not into that sort of thing. After I had connected the printer to my wifi, I opened my laptop (the computer I use most often), and put in the installation disk. For some reason, the disk would not auto-load like most other installation cds I have used, but it wasn't difficult to open the folder and select the installation file. At that point, everything else loaded seamlessly. Upon checking for updates, there was already one, so I chose to update now, and after about 20 minutes installation of the software and drivers was complete and I was test printing! Printing was pretty quiet, which I certainly appreciate. I do most of my printing during my child's naptime, so I am happy knowing that when I do, there are no loud sounds of pulling the paper, or printing that will wake her up (like my other printer does). I loaded the top drawer with 4x6" photo paper, to test print some photos. While this isn't a photo-specific printer, it is the first test I do on any printer, for print quality. I use a lot of waterslide printing paper for my at home hobby, and like to know that the print quality for images will be good. I did read in the instructions that you are only to use the top tray for specialty papers, which is perfect so that I can keep regular printer paper in the bottom at all times. I have not printed any large photos or posters at the moment, but that will be next on my list! I did, however, also scan and copy some documents, as well as saved them to my computer for emailing at a later date. After doing test prints on my laptop, I decided to download the epson iprint app on my ios devices. The app is also very user-friendly, clean to read and easy to use from both my ipad pro and my iphone. I was able to select photos and documents and print them with the touch of a button. I used my phone to take a picture of one of my children, and immediately printed the photo out. That took a total of approx. 5 minutes from taking the photo, to uploading it into the app, making sure the auto correct was where I wanted it, and printing the photo. I was able to pick up the pictures immediately with no issues with wet ink. Overall, I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who is considering it. While I know there are other features that I have not had the opportunity to try on it yet, I am confident that with the ease of use of all of the other functions that I have been able to try out, as well as the clarity of the menu and function buttons, that using the other features will be just as easy. I have owned 2 other epson workforce printers, previously, and this one is by far the best out of them. Great product, Epson! Endless features yet easy to use!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size of the box of this printer impressed me before I even opened it. Once we opened it and saw all the features and such it instantly reminded me of a printer I’ve used in many businesses and not just small ones either. The 2 paper tray sizes printing well beyond the legal size was also a huge plus! We fired up the printer and put the ink cartridges in. I will say this is the one downside to this printer with such a massive amount of features, it just feels held back by not being a laser, but I knew this going in with this price range. The touch screen was used to setup things up. One thing I found weird is it asked for the data/time when we were about to connect to the internet. Surely Epson could update the firmware to just use one of the many time servers out on the internet instead of bothering the user with this. Just ask the user for their timezone and let it do the rest after the printer is connected to the internet. Connecting to the WiFi was simple, I was surprised to only see it connect via 2.4ghz and not 5ghz given the number of features. *Later I didn’t really find the printer to be slow via 2.4ghz WiFi but you do have the option of going Ethernet 100mbit with this printer. I’ve installed the software for Epson printers in the past and it has been a bit of a chore at times, this printer was a bit better but I did have issues on one of our computers with Windows 7 on it, the Windows 10 PC went a little smoother but it installed two of the same printers for some odd reason. I ended up deleting the duplicates along with the duplicate monitors in the system tray. Definitely a thumbs up with the printer being able to use the touch screen to configure the WiFi instead of others using the setup disc. Printing is fast with this printer! We’ve printed out several text documents, photos, etc. Even though it isn’t a laser, this printer still looks great! Once you get the printer setup make sure you dig off into the web interface of the device by browsing to the IP with your internet browser. There are SO many features, it’s crazy! I really enjoy being able to throw something on the scanner, pick my email and my wife’s email from the favorites and it sends us an email with the document. It really makes things super simple! I highly recommend this printer if you are looking for a do-it-all with ease of use that everyone can enjoy. Installation was murder, but printer prints great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never had as much trouble installing a printer on any PC I've ever owned than I did with this Epson WF-7720. There must have been 20 pieces of blue packaging tape to remove. Three hours later, when I began having trouble with the printer not printing, I rechecked everywhere to make sure I didn't miss a piece of tape. The ink cartridges are supposed to click into position. Well, there was no click. I guess they're secured. I tried twice to do the Wi-Fi installation, and it hung up both times in the process where it was trying to add the printer to my Wi-Fi network. It never gave me any indication about needing the Wi-Fi name or password, just that it had gotten a page error in a non-page area or something. It stated it would reboot my PC automatically, but instead it just sat there for 25 minutes locking up my PC. I had to kill the PC session. It must have messed up stuff, because the PC took a long time rebooting both times. I couldn't find the master uninstall EXE anywhere on the Epsom CD, so before I could try the install again, I had to manually uninstall about a dozen different things that the install process added. I then tried to go online and chat with an Epson support tech, but Epson doesn't have such online personnel—only by phone during business hours. So that was a wasted 45 minutes. On the third installation, I decided to install it using a USB cable. That seemed to go okay, but then the printer wouldn't print anything—neither the test page, nor an image file. I tried turning the printer off and on. Nothing. It just kept asking me to select paper type, etc. Finally, on about the third time I turned the printer off and on, it started printing out everything. The cancel button only cancels an individual job. There is no master cancel, so I wasted a lot of paper. Must have had queued print jobs from all three install attempts. This was one miserable 5 hours. Maybe I'll learn to like this printer/scanner/fax eventually, but right now, my mental outlook on the thing is very discouraging. In the end, the pages printed were great quality, but I will think twice before buying an Epson product again.

Powerful and easy to use all in one printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WF-7720 is a very powerful and easy to use all in one printer. For my small office printing in office, via PC, Mac, and iPad/iPhone devices was a dream come true! I had no problem setting it up with my wireless network, iPhone or iPad. Instructions for basic set up were included with the unit, but the bonus for me was all detailed setup instructions were displayed on the large easy to read touch screen located conveniently at the front of the printer. This means I do not have to worry about losing the little booklet that came with the machine if I need to perform any future setup procedures! I was able to have it up and running out the box without a computer or even the need to download drivers to my computer and the entire setup process did not take too much time out of my day, so I was able to go back to being productive with a setup time of less than 30minutes out of the box. Printing wirelessly from my computer and other computers was easy, we were able to test printing from PC desktop, PC laptop, Mac Laptop and various Apple based devices without fail. Using my iPhone as a source is something I haven’t done before, but the WF-7720 made it very easy. Ink and paper were easy to load with detailed instructions on the large screen explaining how to resolve a paper jam issue. We experienced one jam from tray one, but were able to fix the jam and go about printing as normal after a quick 5-minute fix, this is nothing like our previous printers. Printing was quick, and the documents and photos were clean and professional. We have used other printers who claim to produce photo shop quality, and have been disappointed. This Epson Workforce really held true to its claims, all photos and other graphic prints came out clear and not pixelated at all. We were proud to print these images directly from our Epson WorkForce to present to clients rather than sending to the local printshop and work about their schedule to present the images to clients. Scanning was simple and clean and sending a fax was simple, even if I just did one as a test to a friend. The only frustrating issue I ran into was the double paper cartridge system. I had issues with printer from Tray 1, but after following the simple troubleshooting guide on screen as referenced above my problem was fixed.
