RECOMMENDED PRINTER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GENERALLY: This is a work-horse of a machine. It is of a size to reckon with; however, I can’t imagine a home office or small-to-medium-sized business office ever needing one of those expensive, major, free-standing monstrosities ever again! This unit will print single sided or in a two-sided design layout, and with its ability to produce spreadsheets and drawings up to 13”x19”, I no longer have a need to outsource larger-sized print jobs! EASY SET-UP: The WorkForce WF-7720 was an easy, out-of-the-box experience, but do recommend initially having assistance to remove it properly from the box. Once physically in place, the remaining set-up was efficient and ready to perform rather quickly. The full-front control panel adjusts to several angles and is clearly labeled; the window touch screen is a crisp, easy-to-read, and intuitive experience. Software download and wireless Wi-Fi connectivity was uncomplicated and easily managed via the coordinated printer prompts and computer onscreen steps. PERFORMANCE: The dual paper trays provide the on-going convenience of my two preferred paper sizes, yet easily adjusts for envelopes or larger paper; rear access allows for specialty paper needs yielding even more versatility. The auto-document feeder conveniently and smoothly handled my large document copying without manual intervention (up to 35 pages). Printing was easily accomplished from both my iPhone and iPad through the wireless networking, and scanning to my mobile device via the Epson iPrint app is a nice plus. Where some printer models compromise quality of output for other added features, Epson definitely does not cut corners on this unit. Everyday printing is exceptionally sharp; colors are remarkably crisp and natural. SUMMARY: This printer’s ability to handle large sizes of paper, along with great output quality, makes it a recommended and worthy consideration for personal office or business needs. Two thumbs up, Epson! This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Capacitive touchscreen and NFC are standouts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the Epson WorkForce printer for 2 weeks now and I couldn’t be happier with it. Let’s start with the wide format capabilities, it plays well with Microsoft Publisher. I was able to create vibrant, massive flyers, on the verge of being posters. The print time, for my project, using the wide format less than 2 times that of standard letter size. As an aside the printer seems more stable than my previous printer (doesn’t shake the printer cart to destruction). The dual paper cassettes are both wide format capable. Epson makes great photo printers, this WorkForce printer must take some cues from those because I when I printed out a few 8x10 test prints they came out *almost* as good as my Epson Photo Printer. The WorkForce printer doesn’t use the Photo Black cartridge, which I see as positive since there’s only 1 Black ink cartridge to go dry. I had to replace the ink cartridges after the printing the posters, which was a breeze, because of the printer’s size the cover opens wide. I never knew I needed an auto document feeder for making copies, while the amount handled on a normal day is about 10 copies, the ADF makes the task at least 2x as quick as doing it manually. The only feature I did not test was the Fax, I use an online fax service and couldn’t move them over in time. My favorite part of the printer has to be the screen though, it’s a capacitive touch screen, not a resistive one, so it is as responsive as one on a smartphone. It’s large enough to make getting to the settings you need quick. There’s also a handy feature that I found myself using all the time, the NFC functionality. All I had to do was bring my phone near the NFC logo and it would automatically pull the “Epson iPrint” app so you can get right into printing from your phone. What a great printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a wonderful printer for homes and businesses especially those who need various sized paper/envelopes to print. The setup of the printer was very from the ink installation to the fax set up. The disk included will allow you to set up the basic functions of the printer. I also used the quick start guide to set up the printer. This is a very substantial printer! It appears to be one that you would find in an office setting or business. There are multiple paper sizes to use from index cards to letters to large paper at 11”x17”. This printer seems great for kids crafts and projects as well. I love the touch screen on the printer. The print on the screen is colorful and very easy to read and follow the commands. I was also able to set up the wireless function simply by selecting my network and adding the printer. The test page and subsequent pages printed without problems. The mobile printing via the internet took a bit more time to get it right by following the steps in the user guide. There was an additional driver that needed to be downloaded in order for the internet printing to work properly. However, it was not difficult at all. Overall the printing is fast and easy and the quality is very good. My one concern is that the ink cartridges appear to be really small. While the capacity of the ink seems accurate according to the specifications, it would be wise to consider purchasing the XL cartridges to get the most for your money. Overall this is an excellent printer! You will be very happy you chose this model especially if you print with multiple sizes of paper. The ink quality is great, the set up is easy and mobile printing is a great option if you are away from home and want to print items. You won’t be disappointed. Full Featured printer for a small office or home o
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm quiet impressed with this Multi-function device (MFD). I work for a large corporate office that has many MFDs in our office, and have used this one in my home office. WOW, this printer can hold it's own next to the printers at my office. A few of the unique features that I enjoy are being able to actually preview a print on the touchscreen before printing. (This is an option and is not required every time). I also love the ability to email my documents to the printer. This works so when I'm at the office or on the road I can email to my printer's unique email address, and it will be sitting in the printer tray waiting when I get home. Some of the other features that are really quiet incredible is the ability to print and scan up to 11"x17" pages. Stored print is also good if you have multiple people using the printer. Epson refers to this as "Confidential Print" , but essentially it stores your print until you are in front of the printer, keeping it either secure, or so it doesn't get mixed in with others prints. I'm also a huge fan of the ability to print using wireless, and also the ability to print in duplex. This is an incredibly full featured printer at a home printer price. Really great all in one printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer was really easy to set up and use. To set it up all I had to do was follow the instructions that came with product. Ink was easy to install too and it was easy setting it up to my computer and Wi-Fi. I like the touchscreen because it is really easy to use and fun. What I love the most about it are the borderless prints because that makes my pictures look better. It works really well with my Wi-Fi and I have printed off my phone and ipod with no problems. The picture quality is amazing. I have used the copier to print several documents for work and it worked fast and hasn't gotten jammed at all. I have also used some really heavy cardstock through the rear feed and that also worked great didn't get jammed or smear the ink. I scanned a document to my email and it arrived almost instantly so I really do love this Epson Workforce WF-7720 all in one printer. The only bad thing I can say about this product is that it is big kind of bulky doesn't really fit anywhere I would like it to be a bit smaller but other than that it works great and has great quality. Just what I was looking for.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's the perfect printer for my home office. It has all the functionality I need for my business. I already mailed off for refillable cartridges for it. I personally don't think you could get a better printer for the price.

Fast Inkjet printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent printer! I use it as a back up printer for my business using a APC Power backup which has no power drain to the APC on this printer. It can run about 3 hours on APC 1500va backup

Good printer, not great scanner.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping this AIO would replace not just my failing printer, but also my standalone document scanner. Fat chance. Do NOT buy this printer if you expect to do any bulk scanning with it. The ADF is all but useless. You will not get through two pages of any document without a paper jam (and I've tried a couple dozen). Also, automatic document size detection is advertised as a feature of the software, but what's not advertised is it only exists on the Windows version of the software. The option just doesn't appear in the Mac version. So for odd-sized documents (like the bills you might want to scan often are), you'd have to physically measure the paper and manually set the document size in the software before scanning the document. I'm keeping it as a decent, affordably-priced printer with wide-format support, but I don't expect I'll ever use the scanner again unless it's a single-page document I can throw on the flatbed by hand. The ADF just leads to swearing and wasted time.

worse printer of my lifetime.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall just a terrible printer and a waste of money. Never printed colors right. Worse all in one I have ever owned. It was so bad it drove me away from ink and I bought a brother monochrome laser which rules. Getting knockoff laser cartridges for $10 each makes owning a monochrome a no brainer.

Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great when it works. Pain in the rear when it doesn't. Extremely finicky with paper and various settings. Not at all conducive to running an actual business even though it's labeled as a business printer. Also, very slow to print anything with color.

Doesn't take much to get an ERROR MESSAGE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased 2 Epson Work Force printers and both are junk. This model I purchased specifically because it has the capability to print on larger paper. I wanted to be able to print my watercolors on various sizes of paper. First the printer won't print on any paper thicker than card stock, and it might not print on that either. Second, if you try to print half sheets or envelopes it often jams up because it either pulls too many pages/envelopes at a time on just plan misfeeds. This printer is designed to match the document size to the paper size (trying to be my brain for me), but that means that if you put something too small or too large in the window it won't print it if the paper in the cartridge drawer doesn't match. I have always done this on purpose when I'm doing art type projects where I want to copy, cut and paste to make a different piece like when a client contracts for me to make a sign. I will enlarge text or art sometimes even though I know part of it will be cropped off. With other printers I've owned I would use my printer to make a template of the real sign so I could get sizing correct, but not with this printer. The rear door feed is also a pain to get to work. Sometimes the networking doesn't work if you aren't in the room with it. And, this morning when my son needs to print his homework he gets OxEA error. We have turned off the printer numerous times, had it clean the printer nozzles etc. Now I can get my computer to print to it, but my son's still will not. So frustrating, a waste of a good hour, and an unnecessary stress on a busy morning. And all this stress has been for about the 9 months I've owned it!!!

Worst printer I've ever owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst printer I've ever owned. I've owned HPs for years with no complaints but I took a chance on this Epson. I regret that decision daily. First setting it up was a nightmare. It refused to print on anything but 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Why have a fancy printer if it refuses any other paper size? I spent an hour with Epson on the phone before we stumbled on some arbitrary setting about user privileges that had to be changed from the default. It seems it would allow anyone to print 8 1/2 x 11 but had to have this one switch flipped to allow for any other paper sized printing. After getting that corrected I still haven't been able to successfully print to 8 1/x x 5 1/2 sized sheets. It pulls multiple pages, jams and only prints parts of pages before generating bogus errors. I've tried printing tabloid 11 x 17 pages as well. Sometimes those work. It also arbitrarily cancels print jobs. Today I'm trying to do a 58 page PDF file. It printed 2 pages front and back then 2/3rds of the next page and then it just cancelled. No error, no warning, no notification. Just stopped. This has been a consistent problem that it just cancels print jobs with no indication why. Plenty of ink, plenty of paper, no one bothered it but it just stops. No way to restart the print jobs just have to resend them. I will NEVER buy another Epson after this nightmare. In this day and age there is no excuse for a printer being so difficult to work with. You should be able to load the paper, load the ink and send a document and have it print. But...don't expect that with this monster.

Like it when it works, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the scanner frequently. When scanning through the feeder it pulls more that 1 page at a time. I have to feed it 1 page at a time. The printer often does not recognize either of my computers or sometimes 1 or many times none when scanning to computer. Errors happen easily and its hard to clear the errors. I will be buying another printer that I can use it to scan reliably. Probably won't be an Epson.

Even the replacement printer was trash
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer for convenience, because it had 2 trays - one for 8 1/2 x 11 and the other for 11x17 paper. However, the print quality is just atrocious - prints always have big bands in them and the colors just do not print correctly, ever. Best Buy replaced it with a new one, but the new one also had the same identical problem. When I took back the second one, Best Buy refused to replace it saying that the $40 I had paid for the extra warranty only works once. I give it 1 star because it printed the black correctly. Otherwise this would be worthy of 0 stars. Never thought printers can be this horrible quality. Epson has just created a piece of junk.

Don't Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible printer! Purchased this printer in a hurry a couple of months ago to replace one that died suddenly during payroll. This printer has had several issues since then including the touchscreen going blank and not coming back on. Trying to print envelopes with it is an all day process as sometimes the rollers will pick them up and sometimes they won't which results in the printer thinking the tray is empty. Extremely frustrating since this is one of the main reasons I purchased this printer! It also makes horrible noises when trying to print envelopes. Definitely would not purchase again. I will most likely be looking for a better brand the next time (which will be soon!).

Inkaholic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An absoute inkaholic. We do not print full color graphics, - mostly black & white text, but somehow all the ink colors go out after just around a hundred prints. The scanner quality is very poor, taking a pic with your old iPhone 6 is much better quality - no problem with bluetooth printing.

Printer sucks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NOT user friendly. The color is too light and cannot be adjusted. The printer has no settings for this and there are a hundred “software downloads” which are all completely useless. In fact the color is wrong. Red prints as orange, and so on
