The Work Force WF-7720 has worked flawlessly and was very simple to setup. I haven't used it for high volume output but I am sure it can do the job. The quality far exceeds its price,

I had it for a few weeks, and everything works great. Fast and crisp, and I love the fact that I can keep both tabloid and letter size paper loaded all the same time. Easy to set up too.

The ability to print large format and be an all in one is great. We do a lot of 11x17 printing and the printer performs exceptionally well.
Scanning is also easy and efficient. Great product for the money!

This printer is huge but definitely an excellent home printer for advanced home and home office needs. I missed out on the extra savings but paying an extra $50 was worth it!

This is as others will warn you, a LARGE printer. Make sure you have the room for it. It's really almost exactly like the smaller versions of this series, so your only reason for buying it will probably be that you need larger prints, and/or a larger scan area to do larger scans. It's great for those. Otherwise it's like any other printer (just larger).
Ink use is "fair", though Epson has that very irritating software that will shut down the ability to print black and white only if the color runs out. So have extra ink on hand. Print speed is average - not class leading, but not sluggish. Print quality is very good for text, good for color, and only fair for photos. The color screen is easy to read and while the menu could be simplified, it gets the job done.
Two negatives about this: We've used a few of them in my office and they don't have the best longevity if used heavily - more often than not we've had several wear out within 1 to 1.5 years, so I would probably recommend something more durable for "heavy" use, but for light to moderate use they stand up better. Also, in general Epsons are known for "streaky" color if you don't use it regularly, so if you have little need for color prints, at least do a test page with various colors in it and print it out regularly to keep the color nozzles unclogged.
Again, it's a niche machine - you have to really want the large prints or scanning for it to be of great value to you, but if you do, the sale price on it is hard to beat for that.

It does everything i need. So far I'm happy with this purchase.
I had issues setting it up and tried to use geek squad and will never do that again. They were not helpful at all. I ended up hiring an IT consultant to set it up. Although the standard default settings will work for most applications andAppear to be plug and print; i needed a more specific install which was beyond my capabilities. My IT Consultant person installed and got it running in about 10 minutes. I've been a happy camper ever since. I recommend this printer (but not geek squad).

It Gets The Job Done

This printer is awesome! If you’re looking to do large jobs, wanting the option of two trays with different paper sizes, with the luxury of being able to print 13“ x 19“, then this is the printer for you! I will say that the speed of this printer is not as fast as your normal home printer, however, it is able to handle multi-printing jobs. I’ve printed an upwards of 100 to 200 documents in one session; double sided.
The one thing you must keep in mind is that this is an inkjet printer. So what does that mean? That means the printer and the replacement ink cartridges itself, are much cheaper than a laser printer. This also means that usually photos are considered to print out better on an inkjet printer than a laser printer. However, in my past experience, I’ve found that laser printers do actually print out photos quite nicely; and colors are more vibrant, richer, and sometimes more deep in tones and shadows than a inkjet printer.
I normally use the printer to print out full-color bulletins, and have noticed a huge difference in color with this printer versus a laser printer. There were times that I have attempted to increase the saturation in color of some of my print outs on the computer, and the color saturation is marginally increases on this printer versus the deep saturation you would get of a laser printer.
On a laser printer, you’ll get better results in achieving a royal blue, or even a bright red color than you would on this printer. If you’re like me, and you’re used to printing from a laser printer, you might find yourself a little disappointed with an inkjet printer. This is true for any inkjet printer that you choose.
The only reason I chose this printer over a laser printer is because of cost effectiveness. Although nice coloring and saturation would look great, for my purpose of our bulletin, it’s more for informational purposes rather than being treated like a magazine. Since we print out about 100 bulletins a month, choosing an inkjet printer, for now, would be the best choice for cost-effectiveness over a laser printer.
Overall, this is a great printer for what it is meant to do. I can’t really ding it for not being able to print out as high of a color saturation than a laser printer, because they are both in two different categories.
A few things that I do enjoy is the ability to wirelessly print and create its own email address. Which means that I can send documents, photos, or forward emails to this printer’s own email address (which you create yourself), and it will print it out from anywhere in the world. Of course, the printer needs to be connected to our home Wi-Fi and left turn on throughout the day. But it does not consume much energy if you decide to leave it on. There is a sleep mode, which will put it into a low power mode or standby mode if you will, ready for when there is a printing job.

I bought this and immediately started noticing problems. It refused to go into sleep mode and the printing was not straight on the page. It was sometimes as much as a 1/2 canted to the right on the page. I reached out to Epson because Best Buy had no more in stock at the time. All the crap and repeat phone calls and endless testing they demanded that I do before accepting that the printer was defective is the primary reason for only 3 stars (I would really say 3 1/2 stars). They finally agreed to do a replacement, but forced me to do a preauthorization on a credit card first. Eventually, I was able to get everything resolved and firmware updates fixed the broken sleep mode so that is all will say about that. The prints look great, the 11x17 is something I've been needing for a long time. I really don't care for the need to extend the trays 6" out the front for 11x17 and manual feed is limited to inserting one page at a time which is really a pain. It does print on and handle card stock extremely well (when using manual feed) and is super fast. It also has a large footprint which made it difficult to find a place to put it.
For a $300 printer, I think it will be well worth the price. Time will tell.
One thing is certain... next time I will wait until Best Buy has more in stock and work with them on the defective unit before calling Epson Support again.
