This rowing machine is awesome! I had never rowed before and the set up shows you the basics and figures out your fitness level. The first few sessions kicked my booty, figuring out how to time your breathing is hard. The games and races make it so much fun. I love racing against other peoples time to try and be first. If you have a wireless speaker or headphones use them. The speakers on the screen aren’t very good quality or loud. The music stations are so good! I find myself having to pick up my phone mid workout to add songs to my library I like them that much. For the men reading this beware…. If you have thick thighs and your “boys” are big you’re gonna be uncomfortable. You have to keep your legs squeezed together to stay in proper form and with the legs squeezed everything else has nowhere to go. I get through it but definitely wish there was more breathing room. Also look up rowers rump before purchasing if you’ve never rowed before. Learned the hard way :(

I’m new to rowing, but the water resistance has been great on my back and knees. It's an incredible full-body workout, and the races and gamified intervals and progressions keep me coming back for more. The design and construction are both high-quality - this is literally the most beautiful thing in my apartment. It's quiet compared to other rowing machines I've heard, and the sound of the water is pretty nice and calming. Can't recommend this rower enough!

I love to row, and this is hands down the best! Stores easy and doest take up much room. Looks great in any room, very comfortable row, and the game based row is fantastic. Worth every penny!!!

I rowed a little years ago and kind of liked it. When I decided at age 67 to maintain some level of exercise during the times of no lake and no lawn activities I started investigating water rowers. I remembered from what little experience I had, that rowing seemed boring and hard to stick to with a schedule. Enter Ergatta! Beautiful Cherry hardwood, not veneer, that assembled quickly. I have been rowing for about a month and a half now and enjoying all of the river scenes, circuit training and course races that Ergatta provides. The challenges become more challenging as your calibrations move you up the scale. I do believe I will be rowing year round , it is almost soothing. I would recommend this water rower to anyone, even youngsters, that want to maintain/improve their core and legs without beating their joints into oblivion!

My favorite cardio equipment. I exercise every night using this equipment and it is very exciting. The exercises are tiring through the various options in the screen. However, it is very expensive and had second thoughts before purchasing it.

A full body workout. I like it. High quality fitness machine.

Wow! That was remarkably easy! Ten days from order to my doorstep, and installation was a breeze! The rower came in one really big box, so very little installation was required. A few bolts to install the footboard and then attach the monitor. (And of course adding the water!) You might plan an hour to get it setup, but it might be less. The account setup was easy, and there are so many workouts and races to try out. There are instructions and tutorials as you experiment with different parts of the software. I played around the interface and did a couple of short workouts so far. I'll do the "calibration" to determine my level soon, and then it's off to the races, or games, or scenic rows! Oh, and I forgot to mention how pretty the machine is as well! Nicer than some of my furniture! It's a shame that I'm going to sweat all over it, but that's kinda the point!

The Ergatta water rower is simply a quality machine. From its design to the quality of the wood and its build. The water resistance is easy on your knees and back and gives you an amazing workout. There are so many programs to choose from but each one is designed with a purpose. Its easily the best rowrr i ever used. Cant recommend it enough!

I never thought that I needed a rower, but it makes a perfect addition to my fitness routine. It works 84% of your muscles and it’s low impact. And it has a tiny footprint as it stores upright. I love the racing programs, and the sound as you row is so soothing. It’s a wonderful addition to my fitness goals, I can feel my back and legs and chest getting stronger using the Ergatta.

I've had my Ergatta for two years, and I love it so much. The competitive games on the Ergatta are AWESOME and they just released a new one that that's so fun. If there is any downside, it's that the machine started making noises as I was rowing recently. I emailed Ergatta though and they gave me instructions to tighten a few bolts and now it's back to normal.

I had never been a huge rower, but I took a chance on this machine as I wanted something different that would give me a good full body workout. I have to say I'm really impressed. First, the machine itself is beautiful with the wood-style and it takes up very little space, even in a tiny apartment. That alone makes it better than some other machines I've seen out there. Second, the workout is truly great and even 20-30 minutes will leave you very tired and sweaty if you push yourself, which is easy to do with the game-style formats they have. Highly recommended!

I love this machine. I really hate aerobic exercise, but this has made it fun. Rowing has helped my back, legs and arms get stronger. I started in January and have rowed every other day for the past 3 months. The key is the app, which makes it fun. They improve it every month and keeps me engaged. I now even use my treadmill. Buy it!!!

I always had trouble working out consistently. I’ve rowed almost 500k meters this year thanks to this rower. The games really push me. Even got a couple of my friends to get one and we compete!

The rower is gorgeous, sure, but the game-based workouts are what keep me coming back. Maybe just rowing is enough for some people, but the fact that Ergatta turns exercise into engaging, well-designed games makes me excited to get back on the rower.
