They are bright without being too bright. They are easy on the fingers unlike other brands. They are long lasting (for guitar strings). These are also way cheaper at Best Buy than any music store.

These strings are great for the electric player who likes to bend. However they have more than that singular use. While very narrow gauge strings don't produce as much sound as thicker ones, these strings are great for a child's beginning acoustic guitar as they don't take nearly as much pressure to hold down, and are much more forgiving on little fingers. Nylon strings achieve the same purpose of course but won't fit through many 1/2 size guitars. I have also used these on a 6 string banjo with good results.

These are a good value for the price. They hold up well and sound good as well

I've used Super Slinky strings on my Telecaster for years. Nice, bright sound and Best Buy gets them to me for less than five bucks! Great deal!

After trying & using at least a half dozen other string manufactures I finally found Ernie Ball super slinkys to be the most compatible with my EMG James Hetfield signature pickups.The pure nickels are actually better but I had to take what I could considering Best Buy was the only place open on a Sunday afternoon when I needed strings 4 hrs before a gig! Now if they would stock the pure nickels then they would truly be putting the "BEST" in Best Buy! Ha ha lol

I use these on my Epi SG that I also bought at Best Buy. They give the SG a nice growl, which is what you want when you play an SG. Buy some!

ernie ball has been around for years and have always been my go to strings. they are good quality and reliable. will continue to use them

This has been my 3rd set of slinkys, been playing just under a year, just finished refurbing a ESP M-252, put these on and it sounds amazing!

What can I say about these strings that thousands of other musicians haven't already. Probably nothing. The Pros use these things. You want an honest review, check out the other THOUSANDS of them that are featured in big name guitar catalogs. Chances are if you are buying these, its because you know how awesome they are. They have been proven to get you more gigs, more record deals, tons of girls and make you sound like a guitar god. Period.

I have used Ernie ball strings on my three strats for the past 15 years. They are consistently good sounding and have a long playing life.

These strings are of the highest quality, that produce a very rich and sustainable tone depending on your guitar's pick-ups.

I bought these for a customer's guitar, because he requested these for his guitar, and I don't stock those in my shop. I am a guitar/amp tech, and Best Buy is about 3 blocks from my house... They are decent strings - tried and true, but don't have the sustain of some higher quality strings.

Surprised to find strings at bestbuy but great! super cheap but don't got a lot of selection on different sizes.

Easy to string and stays tuned well. it was very reasonable priced and a great value for the money!

Been using Ernie Ball for 43 years. I also use GHS on occasion. Both are always of good quality.

The strings seemed to compliment the sound of my guitar and pickups more than previous GHS brand.
