Usually use EB Heavy Top Slinky Bottom. But decided to give these a try. Much easier to bend/vibrato, but in all, for tuning to Drop C, ill stick with the HTSB.

Not that big of a fan of Slinkys, they are rust magnets. Though they do have good sound, they just don't last as long as other brands for around the same cost. Ergo they are cheap enough to change our every week or other week to keep a nice bright tone. I am rather hard on my high e and have broke more then a few Slinkys 9s. But that goes with out saying mostly due to my style of playing. Try them out and decide for yourself. They are not bad at all, just not the best either. For the cost they do work well if you swap your string out often.
Cheers

I initially bought these to put on my wife's electric guitar because she is just starting to learn to play and needed lighter strings as to not hurt her fingers as much. They were very cheap and easy on the fingers. They stretch very easy without breaking making them great for note bending and if you don't have a whammy bar for tremolo sounds. Very happy overall.

Purchased these for my daughter's Schecter electric guitar. Much better than the ones that came with the guitar. She is only 12 and is learning how to play the electric guitar. She loves these strings and is impressed with the quality of them.

I love that I can get these strings for so little money at Best Buy. They hold up just as well as most other sets of strings, and the tone quality is pretty decent.
