works great can eliminate lighter use-always on when car started

i am now using this wire for 6 months it does the job

Easy to install. Keeps the dash clean and free of wires.

I purchased the wire harness kit at the same time as my detector. Only purchase this kit after u use and are sure u want to keep it in the vehicle. Returning mine.

This style os the newer one. I was under the impression that this would be a fuse tap. Instead i had to strip it and turn it into one.

I have already bought two of these. First one lasted me a few months, and stopped working. All my connections where good and it worked with the cord my detector came with. I bought the second one, and it only lasted a month before it went out again. Fuses are all good. I’m just disappointed on how long they have lasted me.

Service sucks that you guys don’t even try to resolve but pass the buck to another kompany

Great hardwire but a cleaner install is to use the given harness but add the Pico 0956Aadd a circuit jumper to it or Littelfuse FHA200BP. Then you get a T-Tap and tap into the line provided on the Escort Hardwire harness on the (+)Positive wire. Use ringed wire for ground......and insert the new Pico or Littlefuse end into a keyed switch fuse spot in your fuse box...on BMW it is the HomeLink spot that works best. Run phone connector end behind dash and up to mounting location and you are done. Recommend checking detector for operational use before you run the wire behind everything...just in case. Takes longer to remove panels and hide behind trim than it takes for the actual install....then used velcro down low on console semi hidden for mute button. Great product...

I got this wire kit installed for my radar detector and have to say it is the best. No more wires hanging all over my center console and I also purchased a rear view mirror bracket to hold my radar detector from somehwere else. However I did by the radar detector from best buy as well. I had their department do install and everything looks very clean and tidy, just how I like it.

Was called by Best Buy people and suggested I purchase this as it makes the unit more professional. Glad I did, Thank You for the call and suggestion.

Product was simple to install and looks great instead of having power cord coming over dash.

I love this option i now have 2 escort 360 radar detectors, this option makes makes the set up much more sleek than the lighter plug in set up. Also has the silent button built in which is also a big plus, so if your debating on buying one of these ill make it easy for you DO IT you wont regret it.

I was worried if was only good for escort radars, but that is not the case. Worked great on my Beltronics magnum radar

I have had no problems and hughly recommend it to anyone .
