I like the fact that my cord isn't dangling down from the windshield to my power outlet. I had Best Buy install it, looks and works great.

In my opinion, a must have accessory for the Max 360 detector. Easy to install, clean look, and puts the mute button right at your finger tips.

This accessory fit my needs perfectly. I was looking to add the functionality of muting the detector from a more convenient spot on my dashboard. I modified the unit and was able to flush it into my dashboard and retain a completely stock appearance. I then ran the power cord through the dash, up the a pillar and across in the headliner to the rear view mirror. Makes for a very clean installation. I would think that everybody who purchases an Escort detector would want to buy this and build themselves a clean install.

I am really glad I bought this cord! I have my escort mounted high on the windshield to the right of the rear view mirror. I had this mounted under the radio in front of the gear shift. I have easy access to the mute button and can easily see when a radar is near by the blinking indicator. I haven't had any problems with it yet.

This is exactly the same cord that I used with my escort passport 8500 detector when I first installed it 14 years ago! I’d packed it away and considered selling it on eBay since I no longer had a power cord. For a few years I had a hard time finding it. $25.99 is as low as I’ve found it online and this is a genuine cord. A worthwhile way to spend rewards money and I might just hook the old 8500 up again or sell it with a power cord. And for anyone unsure hardwire is the way to go. Very clean and the detector can still be stashed away easily with the phone cord style hook up. Be careful not to break the prong on the connector end as it is a bit prone to breakage.

Great for any radar to have it hardwired in your car. So much easier and cleaner looking.

I wanted to hardwire a radar detector before leaving for a cross country move. This came with a nifty little no tools needed wire splicing adapter which was perfect at the time. The install, completely independent of taking apart my VW GTI's trim, was easy as watching a YouTube video and it does what it is supposed to do. The mute button does not always work with the Uniden I use with it though, but I expected that when I installed it since they're two competing companies. Only issue with this is the price, and the face that I had to buy a fuse adapter, which was cheap but not super easy to find in the middle of a pandemic, to properly install it so that it starts with my car.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase and install. Love the hide-ability of this cable. Much cleaner look!

I received a new Escort 9500xi radar detector for Christmas. After a month of using the lighter power cord, I purchased the direct in dash power cord. I installed the cord easily in just a couple of hours. The cord was long enough to run from the passenger fuse box to the top of the windshield. This power cord is a must for anyone owning an Escort radar detector. I recommend this product due to the ease of installation and use.

I put these in my last three vehicles and always find a way to shape a hole to make this look good. Easy to get creative for each vehicle and place it in a convenient location so that I don't have to think about it too hard when I need to hit the button.

The crew set up my car for the radar detector and found i didn't have the voltage to carry the unit. They found an overheated relay and suggested to replace that first before a possibly expensive fix for the problem. I brought them the part and they swapped it and the system works great! Thanks for going above and beyond to get the system working for me!
