Cord works great for hardwire install in car. Mute button is handy

I've had the radar detector, but getting it hard wired was the finishing touch. It's perfect!

If you want to keep your ride clean and yours uncluttered, this is how you do it. It works just like the radar detector yet it keeps your face from lightning up like Rudolph when it goes off at night. So, clean look, uncluttered and no Rudolph syndrome; what more could you ask for?

Simple to install and no taking my eye off the road to find the mute button.

I went to get my 2018 F150 repaired from a dealership an when reinstalling this peice they pushed the Silent button in to hard, so this is the only reason why I'm replacing it, the product worked as it says I originally bought it because it can be place to a easy location to silent the Escort Radar

The crew set up my car for the radar detector and found i didn't have the voltage to carry the unit. They found an overheated relay and suggested to replace that first before a possibly expensive fix for the problem. I brought them the part and they swapped it and the system works great! Thanks for going above and beyond to get the system working for me!

It worked fine for my escort 360. I did not crimp it though and use a fuse tap that required snipping the power wore and fusing it with fuse tap. This made the wiring 100% removable from car without crimping into existing wires.

This is a replacement for my regular cord that came with the passport 8500 The cord finally shorted out after almost 10 years of use. I kinda wish the cords on this one were opposite lengths. The power cords should be longer and the cord to the detector could be about 1/3 the length it is now I mean, you’re not running the cord between the detector and the button very far. Maybe a foot or so at the most. It works though. And I needed something right away as the old one kicked the bucket on the day I was leaving for a road trip Hahaha

This unit allows your escort radar detector to be hard wired into the vehicle so that cords can be hidden and don't dangle all over the place. It can be wired to an accessory line so that it goes on and off with the key. Easy to install if you have basic vehicle wiring know-how. Otherwise, probably best to hire someone.

Had geek squad install this professionally and love it! Highly recommend if using an escort detector.

The product is as described and is very easy to install. The wiring is flat which makes it easy to hide and makes the dash look clean.

This unit is a must have to be able to keep the remote mute functionality that comes with the cigarette lighter power cable. This piece is easy to wire, easy to route and long enough to to be able to be put almost anywhere. Love the stealth installed look of my radar detector.

This hardwired into my car was the best thing I did since buying my radar detector. I can't say it enough how it is so convenient to be able to not have that radar wire hanging in front of me. Its awesome and I can always stowe away my radar to keep the thieves out of my car.
