Bought this kit for my Beltronics radar and it works amazing. Ran the kit through the headliner, a pillar, and mounted it under my steering column. Tapped the +ve into my cigarette lighter and grounded it. No issues at all!

Hard wired to a switched power outlet so it turns on with the car. Also purchased a mirror mount so it's not stuck to the windshield. Routed the cable under the A pillar trim and headliner. So it comes out just above the mirror. Looks clean and professional

Perfect for removing that cigarette lighter power cord that hangs all over the car, very easy to install as long as you know where your fuse box is

I mounted this above the windshield so it flashes at eye level when the detector goes off. also much easier to mute the detector, rather than trying to mute on the detector itself. Very happy with my purchase

Direct wire into the fuse box and i could hide the cabling to make the installation look neat. Glad i could buy from Best Buy instead of having to go through Escort Radar company.

I love how the work was done but the adhesive doesn't stick which has nothing to do with Best Buy. That falls under the product. Other than that, he put it in place that was perfect and couldn't have done a better job.

Works great , I plugged my passport radar and my beltronics radar to it and both of them works wonderfully just as advertised…

Works great - lets you hardwire and actually mute from easy location your Escort / Passport - hidden at BestBuy - you will find this in the BestBuy Auto Stereo Install garage and not in the store - they can still sell it to you of course.

I can't begin to think how awkward and painful it would be to operate my radar detector without this device. I have mounted it to my dash by my steering whell, making it very concealed and easy to mute the buzz of radar. Trust me, it's worth it

Mounting the Escort (or any other Radar detector) up high, near the rear view mirror requires a remote power cord if you don't want dangling wires. The Escort remote power controller enables not only powering the detector but provides mode selection. Our main concern was quality of installation. We were more than satisfied with the mobil Geek Squad team to do an amazing installation job. Cables were neatly hidden. The controller was professionally installed (cut into an available dash blank opening) perfectly. It truly looks like a standard OEM option. We could not be more satisfied with the Darthmouth Mass Best Buy Mobil Geek Squad teams effort. Look forward to installing an new high end in dash CD/XM Radio system in the spring.

I love this product. It was easy to install. My favorite part is the fact that all the wires and cords are hidden from view while allowing easy access and also out of sight use of the silence button.

Love the mute button. The lights are very bright. I placed some tape over them to dim them down. Really cleaned up my dash
