City mode I just had to turn it off because it was just going off. I did do the update online. It helped a little but still picking up on the all different sensers where there's phone towers, RVs, stores, some vehicles and stored location but the alarm keep going off. In some areas radar alarm would not turn off until its reset. The build is cool with looks but need some adjustments.

Really buggy

The detection bars come on full every time if the cop is close or far away

The x80 performs way better than this max3. Do not recommend the max 3. And i only trust this brand but definitely not this model.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst radar false alerts left and right, will sense the Ka band "real one-cop" too late. costumers should not have to deal with issues like " do you have the latest firm ware update or its located on the high side of the windshield or lower" this is garbage, i do have the same issues like everyone else that rated 1 star or less. I have contact manufacture was told to send it in for re-calibration, ill be following up after the "repair-re-calibration" I have an older M70 that performs better even with some false alerts but it out performed the Maxx 3 all day long.

It only seem to work half the time. Mainly with sheriffs vehicles. As far as State Troopers from Texas, it never went off. And the biggest culprit was the mount for the radar. It kept falling off from windshield. So I’m not sure about this model. For that price I would have expected better results.
