Great radar detector. Bought this to upgrade against my Escort Smart Radar. Worked very well, extremely configurable. Range is great. In my opinion, the best bang for the buck against others in the Escort line or Uniden line Sure, it doesn't have DSP or directional arrows, nor is it stealth (which is what I really liked about the Smart Radar), but got the job done very well. I didn't have DSP or directional arrows before, so didn't miss it, and I had it paired with Escort Live Radar on my phone. A great pair.

Very good detector. Easy to use and install. The only complaint I have is the audio quality when the system speaks. The voice sounds like it's cracking. Otherwise performs ok. I bought this to replace my Uniden R1 which only lasted a little over a year before the speaker stopped working properly, to the point no sound comes out of it now. I hope this Escort Max 3 lasts a long time. I have a 20 year old wireless Escort which still works. Though not as good as the newer ones.

This is hands down the best and most dependable radar detector I've ever bought. I've had similar devices for about 20 years and some after just months start to go silent likely due to the excess heat coming through the windshield. I purposely left this one exposed to see if it would prove faulty, yet it has withstood the intense Texas heat. I also love that I can easily mount and dismount this one due to the magnetic click in mount device. I'm completely satisfied.

So far so good. Need to bluetooth to your phone for the speed limit to work. Drive smarter could use more features. Goes off at most stores with automatic doors. Get annoying.

Awesome radar for the price! Hardly any false alarms, and alerts you far ahead

Bought this about a month ago and have been loving it ever since. Very customizable and easy to set up. Takes a while to understand if youre new to detectors but it wont let you down!

This is my 2nd Escort detector. This one does a much better job and has less false alerts. The windshield mount is very durable and easy to install. Crystal clear display. When using the app, it shows the speed limit of the road you are traveling. You are also able to change the settings of the detector through the Escort Live app. Very impressed.

LOVE these guys, they have saved my butt several times from speeding tickets. I wish it was a little louder for the alerts, but other than that its been great. Been running Escorts for years and have always had good experienes.

This is the next best radar without arrows. I looked over other products around same price range and went with escort. This gets an app to help with setup and other items like keeping alert history. Other products dont offter this. It saved us on the first trip we took with it. We had the max3 with waze running and waze wasn't as accurate.

I purchased this one to upgrade the model I had, since I was getting it hard wired. It works great, does what it say, but the only bad thing you have to open the app everytime, in order to sinc it Bluetooth. If not, then the speed zone says 70, and it shows your speed. Its a brand new model, so hopefully they come out with a update that will fix this issue. Also, if you leave it plugged it, it times out, and you have to unplug it and plug it back in. Hoping the hard wire installation will fix that issue.

So far seems to be a good radar detector. I have always had Escort and some with a little more features. This seems to go off a lot with no police spotted so still trying to determine the reason.

Been out of the radar detector game for a few years now and decided to get back into it. Bought this on sale and have really enjoyed it. Has ton's of features and love the Escort live app. The gps auto lock out works great as well as the speed over settings to alert you if you are going too fast. Overall this is a nice detector for the money.

Great product, ive used Escort/Passport Radar Detectors since the mid 90's when Cincinnati Microwave made them, in my opinion theyre the best out there, id never use any other brand, im not saying i speed but, at least i know where they are

I've owned several radar detectors over the years and hands down this is the best that I've ever owned! Never had one minutes problem out of it. Definitely worth the additional money compared to a cheaper run-of-the-mill detector.
