Let's just say it has saved me more than once from a hefty ticket. Its range has significantly improved from the first generation and is sleeker. Don't skimp on trying to buy a cheap one, it's worth it to pay a bit extra.

If a cop leaves thier radar on it picks it up from a ways away. If they are just picking random cars its ussaly to late and goes off after they would have got you. I think its a little expensive for what you get.

Great to just set and forget, automatically mutes at the same location for automatic doors and the like. Very few false positives from blindspot monitors. App is ok, not enough people in my area make it worth using for navigation over waze. I just open it and let it run in the background to pick up any user alerts near me. Built in arrow LED’s make it easier to discern where you’re getting beamed from, compared to a uniden. Unfortunately, mine gave out in just 5 months. Powered on fine, no longer detected any radar of any kind even after a reset. Returned under warranty for a Uniden R8, which is better at detecting radar

I have more of an issue with the app and set up process. It will not link to the app and the app will not work when detector is on and linked to my phone. Hopefull it will get resolved soon and maybe can recommend this product.

Picks up radar signals from a mile away and gives you a chance of slowing down or knowing there is emergency vehicles. It also works really good at remembering spots of where you picked up signals before or word signals are constantly.
