    We took it on a trip to Florida. I guess it worked OK, but the voice was almost non-legible We struggled to understand what it was saying ended up just turning the volume off and looking at the colored lights, which none of us understood either we just knew if it lit up there was something going on and we slowed down. I wanted to love this product, but I have to say we didn’t get a ticket so I guess it works, but it should be clearer on the instructions on the proper use.

    Nice detection. Escort live app shows you more comprehensive alert history than the new “drive smarter app”. No firmware updates yet from escort. Dont do a complete software install in the Escort program. It takes mk2 unit back to ‘max 360’ software. Hopefully Escort will release correct update soon.

    Decent radar doesn’t connect to my phones Bluetooth automatically unlike my other escort radar device I used to have. The speaker is also pretty bad quality but really loud compared to the $500 counterpart. Overall decent and would recommend

    I had the Escort passport and after doing much research I’m glad I went I upgraded to this model. The false alerts are much better. The app work great with the detector. I like the customization you can do on the setting for the city you live in.

    Well worth every penny it pays for itself within the first few times it save you from a ticket!!!! Worth the investment and works so good distance it detects is incredible. Was driving home yesterday from out of town it went off several miles before i seen the cop.

    *\This unit is capable of detecting radar at an impressive range. Also has a ton of adjustments you can make from the app. The reason for the three star rating is because the app is very glitchy and only works sporadically. The coolest features of this detector require the app to function properly. Hopefully they will make some updates soon that will fix the issues.

    I had it for a few weeks and while it did pick up some, it didn’t alert others. I can’t say if that’s because the cops weren’t actively detecting or not. What I can say is that I had some fun with it, I raced up and down the highway a few times and at the end of the day it just doesn’t seem to make sense for my life at that price point
