So far so good....range is excellent, the ability to determine what direction the threat is coming from is another plus. For the price of the product, I was expecting a little more basic functionality like integration with apple car play and audible sound that is loud and noticeable. The inability to connect to Apple care play is the biggest issue I have (to me this is a no-brainer in terms of seamless integration with today's modernized vehicles. The other issue I have is not being able to turn the volume up on the device to hear alerts above low level music and road noise. I'll be able to get a better feel for it in a couple weeks after an upcoming road trip but for now, I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars for the reasons mentioned above.

Solid radar and really good range and simple to set-up.

I bought this expecting way less, the dectector learns false alerts as you drive and slowly weeds them out, bit annoying at first but after using it for a while it is near silent other than a few alerts here and there. Highly recommend the blendmount rear view mirror mount with the mirror tap power cable to go along with it.

Escort Live is a great feature, and in the newer Escort models, you use the newer Drive Smarter app which controls the radar and serves up Escort Live notifications using the car’s wifi system. However if you don’t have wifi in your car, you have to use a second app (Escort Live, the original app) to get cloud alerts via Bluetooth. This is an older product, but it was and may still be the top of the line before they switched to wifi communications which to me is change for the sake of change. Everything works flawlessly with Bluetooth. Also, using iOS for what it’s worth.

This radar gives 360 degree protection with front and rear arrows so we know from which side threat is . I travelled abt 2500 miles with this radar and I got warned from a long distance with a plenty of time to slow down . Sometimes I was warned abt 2 miles far. Very happy for this purchase. This is a plug and play radar, no more hassle. My experience says this is the best radar so far in the market.

Works great, easy setup, catches all types of signals. Good for its money.

I bought this as a gift for a friend that lives out of state as they are illegal in Virginia. The features were fantastic, such as radar on 4 sides, a learning feature for false alarms, such as automatic door openers and garage doors. I reviewed multiple sites and this unit has the highest ratings.

My MAX 360 at firmware version 1.5 has proven to be a well refined detector with fantastic display features, working alert features and fairly decent range. Maybe not the "long ranger" for those flying at 100 MPH over a desolate highway in full darkness but, a true information center for the guy/gal who wants to get around heavy traffic and needs to be "aware" of all situations surrounding them. Escort finally got this one right, and it's a true pleasure to drive with. IVT CAS/BSM filtering is nearly bulletproof. Combined with automatic door sensor and speed sign lockouts (or user initiated manual lockouts), this detector stays quiet. The only thing you hear after lockout training in areas you routinely travel is something worth hearing. Visual display information using EXPERT FR Metering Mode, and BAND Arrow Mode, provides all the front and rear information you need...all with clear messaging. Add Escort Live to provide the posted speed limit information on the display, and Over Speed Limit Alert set to SPEED LIMIT, and you have it all. Total "situation awareness". I have looked closely at the MAX 360c, and prefer the operation and look of the MAX 360. However, if I were in the market for a permanent install detector, the MAX 360 Ci would be my choice. That one is also Radar Detector Detector immune, and has greater range with the larger antennas. The only thing both of these models would benefit from is MRCD detection. It has been reported to be used in Canada, as well as in Maryland and Southern New York. Like it or not, global technology is coming to the Americas. Amazing radar detector, I've been using it for awhile now and it never fails, pulls signals from easily a block or 2 away, and is very good at filtering useless signals out. If you're using this for police Ka band, just beware that they can switch their radars off anytime which means this detector won't pick up a signal, so be aware still when using the detector don't follow it blindly.

I love this RD. It's been a long time since I have used one and did a lot of research before choosing this one. It has been great, I love being able to tell where the threat is coming from.

I have had the 8500 just traded up from the max2. This blows it out of the water. The range is fantastic and now being able to know what direction it's coming from, what more can you ask for.

This thing is big and bulky. It works pretty good but dang its expensive. Window mount works great.

Excellent! I am picky and this is GREAT! It has worked like a charm since day one and I know if I am been radared from any side...

It's saved me from at least six tickets. Really like the arrows indicating the direction the radar is coming from - in front, behind or from the sides, which my other detector does not have. I have loaned it out twice, and friends bought the same model. It Just Works!

I was looking for the escort 360 Best Buy had it in stock at a fair price. It has saved me on getting tickets

After hours of research. I pulled the trigger on escort 360. Glad i did. Hands down best detector on the market. If you tend to be a little on the heavy foot side. Spend your hard earned money on this instead of tickets and lawyers or increased insurance rates.

Upgraded to Escort Max360 from old detector after getting fed up with the constant chirping caused by new IVT emissions. First time of use I thought it wasn't working as it made no sound on my journey to work. Then right at the end it picked up a Ka band signal and alerted. This detector is simply great. It comes pre-set for basic applications, but if you really want to customize you can. Not sure you need to though. Great detector!

I've had several Escort radar detectors over the years and this is the best so far. Right after purchasing the Max 300 I left on a 2000+ mile road trip. It took me a day or two to configure it to my needs, but configured, I gave me a great sense of security. I was able to pick out cops that had their radar on and only occasionly was unable to discern false alarms. Also, the warnings about possible spped traps was helpful.

Easy to set up and doesn't have the nuisance alarms that drive me crazy! I almost gave 4 stars rather than 5 because I thought it would tell me the speed limit (the white block with black numbers) but that is just an over speed number that you set... then it lets you know when you go over that. Does not help any with what the speed limit actually is. The nuisance alarms being gone and the directional arrows letting you know which direction they are.... made up for the 5th star staying! Is a great detector!

I have been saved a couple of times already on I-90 near Cle Elum, WA. Amazing range (Over a mile away) Not one to drive like a jack a** but, I do like to know where they are. Be sure to mount in center of windshield below dark tint as instructed. Works a lot better than sitting on dash on the left. It's a little expensive but well worth it.
