Bought this as an upgrade from an older Escort detector. It is a great improvement. This unit gives warnings miles in advance. It has decreased the false alerts vs older units.

This is an awesome device. The directional arrows take it to the next level. Plenty of customizable settings, it's a great upgrade from the previous 9500ix, which I passed on to my wife. The only draw back is it's size, took a sec to get used too.

Extremely impressed by the range and accuracy of this radar detector.. I know there’s some other higher priced one out there that probably work just as well.. but this one is probably the best one I’ve ever owned.. I absolutely love it..

I absolutely love the radar I would be up to my neck in speeding tickets if I did not have one. The app is also amazing but as I’m on my phone a lot I can not use it. But honestly couldn’t be happier with it

Bought as a gift for my boyfriend who’s always in the road. He’s only had it set up a few days so not sure how well it works yet. It was easy for him to set up.

I have had the older model for years and finally decided to upgrade. I went with the same company due to their quality. This radar detector is excellent. It identifies which direction the band is coming from and also lets you know when to slow down. I love the new brackets with the model. It is easier to put up and take down vs the older model. Model is great at storing areas which have false alarms. Very satisfied

I've always liked Escort Radar detectors but this is the Bentley of them all. The arrows are a huge improvement and ability to display multiple signals and their strength is awesome! The only downside is the detector itself is much larger than previous detectors and quite bulky. Not to mention the price is a bit more than I was initially wanting to spend, especially if you include the fact you have to pay for yearly software upgrades and speed trap data.

I have a heavy foot and has always bought the cheaper detectors. Last ticket was through the roof. Took the gamble and bought this detector, now depending on the terrain, if it sounds slow down, they are there you can't see them but it can see them. Will buy it again.

I purchased this product to reduce the number of tickets I get, but this product is so much more. I love the live that comes with this purchase because it keeps track of the speed limit using GPS and warns you when you travel about that. I also like that live reporting will alert you to when other drivers have reported a police in the area. Great product. Excellent protection.

I have both this model and the 9500ix. Compared they are both very good models and the performance is great. I really like the directional indicator that alerts you on the threat. Very pricey but one ticket and fees in some states pays for it. The only Con for me is the size.

I bought this radar detector 1.5 years ago and it still performs great. It’s advertised to detect law enforcement 1.5 miles away but on a few occasions it has picked up laser, speed guns, etc 2+ miles ahead. Only con is that sometimes it doesn’t want to stay turned off (mainly when a little hot) so I have to unplug it.

This is replacing an older Escort model we had that also had GPS and this is outperforming it substantially. It’s learning false positives better/faster and the level of detection is noticeably improved. If you have a lead foot like my wife, this may be more than worth the investment!

Everything about detector is great but I wish the volume would go louder than it does. Ive had other detectors that you could hear the alerts over the music. This one you can't.

    Feature Packed Radar Detector

Upon purchasing a new car, I was on the lookout for getting a radar detector and dashcam setup (I do this for every car). I already have a ton of experience with these items, and own 3x 9500's and a Max. The one thing missing from these detectors was the directional arrows, something that the Valentine V1 seemed to have a patent for. Then the Max 360 was released, and wow, it is definitely worth the premium price. Its quite a large detector, but they really nailed it this time. The mount is magnetic, and very study (compared to the wobble from other Escort detectors). The directional arrows allow me to personally filter out false alarms, such as the K bands from driver assist technology in recent cars, since I can see that the direction is coming from in front of me, with a relatively weak signal. Or when a car comes to a stop behind me at a stoplight, as they get closer, the signal gets stronger. DEFINITELY worth the premium. Esp with the GPS warnings for red-light cameras, etc.

I doubt that I will take advantage of the updated database created by other owners, but I’m pleased with all other features of my new Max360, and am considering buying another for my Motorcycle. It’s very sensitive and accurate, and I like it’s ability to alert me when I exceed the posted speed limit. It’s GPS communication is spot on!

Best Radar Detector Owned So Far

Based upon my experience, this is the best radar detector I have owned so far. My first radar detector was a Radio Shack unit in 1980, so I have been using these things for a while. Though this detector is not the most sensitive out there, there is a balance between false alarms and sensitivity. This detector generally gives me about a mile advance notice. That is plenty of time to check your speed, and make sure you didn't accidentally get going too fast (big smile). I really like how it shows the direction of the radar, allowing you to know if you are having a persute vehicle coming from behind, or a radar check on an entrance ramp. So far, I have only used it through one laser trap, and it must have worked with enough notice. I never saw any gum balls. I really like how it memorizes those false alarms, and after three hits, locks them into a silence mode. I also like the bluetooth connection to the cell, which is great for quick control of the unit and seeing a map of what is ahead. I will not say this unit is a 5 star since it is big and heavy, but the window bracket is really good too. My past Beltronics could be attached to the sun visor or head liner, but this one needs more to keep it from shaking or sliding. I tried using one of those dashbags to mount the Max 360 unit and had to catch it in the air as I went around a corner. So, the window mount is where it is at, and I hate window mounts!! There is no mirror mount for my car, and I feel the unit is too heavy to clamp to the rear view mirror itself. The good and bad based upon my experience, but the plus out weighs the minus in my opinion.

I've always risked driving long trips without a radar detector, but decided to get one on my trip to Utah from Missouri. It picked up EVERYTHING and cancelled specific frequencies when I told it to. And when using the smartphone app, it took the experience into a whole new level. Everything the description says, it does very well. Glad I spent the money.
