great device, when it works!

The radar detector itself it's nice combining a camera and a high-quality detector. Unfortunately, the "Drive Smrter" app is garbage. It is shocking that escort is okay with such poor software. It's full of glitches and unlike the other escort radar detectors the software is necessary in order to update the firmware and the database. I recommend looking at the reviews of the Drive Smarter app on Google play before you consider buying the Maxcam 360c. Thankfully, BB has a great return policy. So I'll be returning this $900 with tax radar detector and going back to my Max 360c with the added camera. Hopefully, escort will get the message about the software and find another vendor.
