The built in gps remembers false alarms. Easy to use and works great.

This is the best radar detector I have ever owned. Has red light warnings and remembers false alarm location.

A little pricey but well worth it. The best feature is the cancellation of repeated security system false alarms that constantly bug you. Thus, for the most part you only get legitimate radar notifications. I don't speed intentionally but sometimes may creap over the speed limit and when the detector goes off it forces me to immediately check my speed.

Nice radar detector with a lot of features. The GPS lock out feature is very nice to block known false alert locations. It will do it automatically after 3 alerts, or user can do it manually with a few button presses. Detection range is good for k and Ka. I like also being able to turn off X band as it's not used in my area. My only complaint is that it picks up the lane departure systems of newer vehicles, which is annoying and unavailable.

I absolutely LOVE this radar detector! I've always owned one throughout the years, but this one stands apart from all others. I have had no false alerts. It doesn't beep constantly. (which is why I've never liked any I had even though I've always had them) It's sleek, low profile. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a reasonably priced detector.

I owned the 8500 for 5 years before it finally gave out on me. I went and bought this one because I loved my 8500, and this one is better than advertised. The GPS functionality is the biggest difference, and it adds so many features. It knows where all red-light cameras and even speed traps are. If would call it a fantastic value in the high-end radar detector market.

It is a good detector, but it should come with both hard wire and plug into lighter cords, I would think it should be standard with the price you pay for this product.

Easy to use. Long range. Would recommend to people who travel a lot.

Bought this for my stepdaughters boyfriend who is on a college fishing team. He travels from state to state for fishing tournaments and he said this has helped him several times with traffic light cameras and 3 times with radar. I am not saying speeding is right but sometimes this is a friendly reminder to pay attention to your speed and surroundings.

Purchased this product about a week ago and it detected every cop that I passed, as well doesn't give me any false alerts like other radars have.

This thing has caught a few hidden cops before I saw them, and slowed me down just in time. Great investment in your vehicle, and your wallet :-) really like the ability to mute ability especially store ignored radars. I highly recommend this model and more importantly you spend the time to read the manual and see what all this radar is capable of.

Our first use was a holiday 20 hour road trip on the interstate. At first I wasn't sure it was working but when it did sometimes I had up to a several minutes warning there was po po around :) Extremely helpful!

Bought this because I drive a lot. Already have made over 300 miles on the road and had several saves from this! Love the gps technology!

This unit works well but will still give you many false alerts, better than the passport max but far from perfect. Metro Atlanta offers many, many false alerts most of which seem to be Acura, Cadillac crash avoidance radar systems from what I can tell. The indicator arrows are a welcome feature and really helpful. Be sure to watch video on how to best setup the device and setting options. Escort live Paul's in comparison to Waze app.
