I had been a life long customer of Whistler and made the change to the Passport. From the first time using it I knew it was going to be fine. The alerts and ability to mute are easy use and understand. I love the unit.

This thing is awesome. It takes a few times driving past false alarms, but learns them quickly and you never here from them again. So all you are left with is real alarms. Works great!!!

This is my third Escort Radar Detector and the best one yet. (I've had several other brands along the way.) This one is by far the best of the bunch!

Best buy for the money. Easy to use, does everything you need to avoid speeding tickets except to tell you to "Turn On". That's the only time I received a ticket. When I forgot to turn it on.

This unit has been very accurate and has alerted me of numerous speed traps. Much less annoying audio alert than others I've had. Even warned of red light cameras. I would recommend this product.

Got a great deal since this model is being discontinued. It works great. This was the old top of the line model so it has most of the features of the newer ones it just doesn't look as pretty.

Does what I expected and more. Excellent response time

This has been a top detector for years and does a great job. All detectors can now false trigger when modern cars approach that have radar based steering and braking. Still worth having.

I have been very pleased with this unit. It offers excellent range and coverage. One of the most used features is the ability to mute an alarm at the outlet vs on the unit it self.

I can't wait until I buy the other cord so I can't really enjoy escort to the fullest!0

Helped on several occasions. Tells you what you're up against. All features have been well thought out. Pricey, but worth every penny first time it saves you.

This is my first radar detector that I really enjoy . Set up and use is user friendly. I would recommend this unit to my friends. The updates are easily accessible thru the web site.

This is my third 9500ix detector. they are excellent and have saved me a ton of money in traffic fines. If your'e gonna speed, why not have a chance with the best detector for the money.

This device I have had no problems with. It picks up the police radar at a wonderful distance. It really does works and helps out. I have recommended this device to my friends and family. Wonderful device.

I purchased a Cobra since it was more cost effective, but I was not happy with the radar since it picked up wrong signals almost everywhere so I returned it. I upgrade to Escort-Passport 9500ix and it surprised me. It detected Radars farther than the Cobra and on difficult spots where you don't see Police Radar. The Passport Its more expensive but its definitely reliable. Definitely effective 360 degrees. It also helps you find Speed Cameras and it tells you 1,000ft before reaching the Speed Camera. This is Always helpful, specially when traveling to other cities or places in within your city where you are not familiar with.

Radar works great and has GPS locations of redlight cameras etc. This device has saved me a lot of speeding tickets where they could have been over what I paid for it.

Definitely not the best when it comes to radar detecting technology, but it definitely provides great value with somewhat outdated technology. Will most likely be able to do the job for the next couple of years. Just need to update it and tweak the settings a bit.
